Ella’s POV
Early morning I and Aviv walked through the busy corridor of the hospital. I had a sleepless night thinking about Erik. I wanted to see him but Aviv didn’t let me return to the hospital, so had to rush back early morning.
He pushed the door to step inside, but Aviv and I, both were stunned catching the glimpse of Amulya sleeping next to Erik. Erik had wrapped his hand around Amulya’s shoulder and her head was placed on his chest.
I don’t know about Aviv but I found them cute and perfect with each other. But as I glanced at Aviv, his expression was not good. He was cold and serious. And most importantly he looked disappointed.
As he was about to make the move and step towards them, I hastily grabbed his wrist. He glanced at me in annoyance and was about to say something but I hurriedly dragged him out of the room.
Aviv’s POV“What is going on dada? Will you please explain?” Amulya demanded as we reached the parking lot. She was trying to free herself from my grip but I was not letting her go.“What was that?” I asked coldly.“That what?” she questioned as if she didn’t know anything.“You were sleeping next to him. What is going on between you two?” I retorted angrily.“Will you please stop overreacting and let go of me?” she mumbled still t
Ella’s POV“I can’t wait to see her,” I said walking towards the car.“Your wait will be over after five hours of drive, Mayalu,” replied Aviv, opening the door for me.“Where is Erik?” I questioned slipping inside the car.“There he is,” replied Aviv.I glanced out of the window and saw him marching towards the car.As he sat on the driver seat he glanced at me and said, “I am so nervous.”“Nervous? But why?” I questioned.“I am going to meet her for the first time. I don’t even know if she will recognize me,” he said buckling his seatbelt.“Well don’t expect much buddy. We have still not met her,” said Aviv sitting beside me.“Yeah, you are right. But still, I can’t help being nervous,” he replied and started the car.“I wish Amu was here,” I said, fee
Ella’s POVI stood by the door for a long time not knowing whether to walk in or not. My heart was pounding out loud and my hands were shaking. I wanted to go in and console Erik, but I was not confident enough that if I would be able to console him or not.I was afraid that in the process of consoling him I only would break down and make it difficult for him to handle the things. No matter how strong he was, I was sure that losing his mother who he had just met would have shaken his heart. He didn’t even get a single chance to spend a single second with his mother. In this case, I was a little bit luckier than him. I did get to spend some time with my parents. But Erik didn’t get to live that wonderful moment in which he was supposed to live.Although his mother’s last wish of seeing her
AFTER ONE YEARElla’s POVWith one hand swinging and the other hand placed on my hip, I walked through the hallway. As I reached the ICU door, I stood by the door and caught my breath. Clearing my throat I then stepped inside the ICU walking carefully with my swollen belly.
Ella’s POVStepping out of the washroom in my nightgown, I marched to the mirror and stood in front of it. I absently stared at the reflection of mine in the mirror which was all swollen. Many thoughts were crossing my mind making my mental chaos and I was having no control over it.In two months I h
Ella's POVReminiscences continued:The next morning when I woke up Aviv was not around. The beams of sunlight were trying its best to get inside the room through the unpulled curtains that were supposed to be pulled at the side.
Ella’s POVSquatting on the bench of the park, I observed around. Everyone was out for their morning fitness activities. People were doing various kinds of exercise, probably maintaining their health and body. Morning chill breeze was blowing, which was making me shiver a little.I glanced at my wris
Ella’s POV“But sister it is definitely not the thing which you are thinking right now,” stated Erik taking a deep breath.“What do you mean?” I questioned gazing at him with little hope beaming inside.“It is true that Av went to meet her, but he was definitely not having an affair with her,” he replied. He then pulled the drawer beneath his desk and took something out.Placing the file in front of me he said, “these are the things I collected about the girl.”I took the file and flipped through its page:Name: Angee BrookeAge: 18 yearsEducation: High schoolFather name: UnknownMother name: UnknownResidence: Wall Street no. 42Other information: works in a caféI looked up to Erik with my wide surprised eyes and said, “she was just 18…”“Yeah, that is the thing. She is so young and probably the one Aviv would never think to date…” replied Erik with confident.“So here is the residence information also why don’t we give her a visit and know it from herself,” I suggested closing the
Ella’s POV“Lucas, are you done? Hurry up or else we will get late,” I called out knocking on the door.“Yes, coming,” he replied and in a short while the door opened revealing my handsome twenty-five years old son Lucas.“Oh! My godbrother you are looking so handsome,” Mini my sixteen years old daughter said from behind me.“What do you say, Maggie?” she asked her twin sister Maggie.Maggie scanned him top to bottom and rolling her eyes said, “uh! Satisfactory.”“Come on, Maggie don’t be so mean. It’s his wedding day,” Mini said in annoyance.“I am just kidding you look so good, brother,” said Maggie and ran towards her brother to hug him.“No, no not my arms,” Mini said and jumped into his left arms.Lucas hugged them both and said, “thank you, my cute sisters. You both are also looking beautiful.”“Hug him as much as you want,” I said chuckling, trying to barge into their conversation.“Hm, what does that mean?’ questioned Mini looking at me.“He is going to get married today, so of

Aviv's POV“Don’t remind me of that day, Garry. I really hate those moments when I was suffering in that prison, all because of that Ella…” Becca muttered.“If only she had not killed my mother, she would at least be spared but she crossed all her limits. So I had to give the taste of what she did with me. Now I have sent her to the place where she can never come back,” Garry said clutching the glass tight.‘So, this was it. I wondered why Garry was taking help from the one who murdered his mother. Becca had lied to him saying Ella killed her. Very well she played,’ I thought inside.“But I must say, I really enjoyed pressing that button. I wanted to see them turning into pieces but unfortunately, I couldn’t risk going near their Mansion and just entertained myself by clicking the button,” Becca said.Anger simmered inside hearing her and blood boiled up. It was her the reason behind the blast at my house. It was time for them to pay for the deeds they had done. “How dare you try to h
Aviv’s POV“Hello, young master,” Mary answered the call in two rings.
Aviv’s POVEarly morning we landed on L.A and walked towards our mission to find Ella.“So, where do we start?” questioned James getting on the cab.I slipped inside the cab and thought for a while.“We should start from hospital, I guess,” I replied solemnly.“Yeah, we can start there,” Erik agreed. We drove to the hospital right after that.“Have you seen this woman?” I questioned the receptionist showing her the picture of Ella. She glanced at the picture carefully and said, “isn't she the one who lost her baby?”“Yeah…” I hurriedly nodded my head.“A day before she came and was asking if she could check the CCTV footage,” she replied.“And?”“I couldn’t let her do that as we couldn’t let her check it without our boss's permission and he was out of town when she was here,” she replied."A lady lost her child in your hospital and you didn't let her check the CCTV?" I was losing my mind."That is how it works here sir," she replied."Great, you don't care what the patience faces in yo
Aviv’s POVAll this time I trusted both Ella and Erik. I didn't know they would this easily forgive the one who did so wrong to her. How can she be this easy-going?As I was lost in thought, I heard the door opening and someone walking inside. I closed my heart and gulped hard.Trying best to not vent my anger on anyone, I said, “I don’t want to hear anything, Erik. You better leave yourself or else I will not regret chasing you away.”
Aviv’s POV“What am I going to tell Ella? How will I explain this to her? I was supposed to protect our child but I failed. Not just child I was supposed to save my family, Erik and Mary they were my family. Now they are gone, Ella is also gone how am I going to survive?”I watched my home falling into ash, in which the ash of my family was also mixed. I wanted to catch those ash and keep it with me. I stood on my feet and tried to collect the ashes on my hands but no matter how hard I tried to catch, I was not able to collect any of them.
