Diana thought about what her dad just said.
Is it really because Osmond found out that Henry cheated on Chantal that’s why he would have a motive to take revenge?
Although Chantal was the apple of their eye, is it really enough reason for him to cause the accident?
She would believe it more if they would say that the reason he’d be wanting to kill Henry is that he entrusted their assets to the wrong person. Perhaps Osmond believed that Henry would really keep it safe and return it to the Winchester family later on. What he didn’t account for, was for Henry to not only pay child support but to actually hide from them, refusing to give the assets back.
At this point, even Henry’s addiction to casinos was already revealed.
Perhaps Osmond feared that if he didn’t act now, the assets would really be gone.
With regards to Osmond’s death, they speculated
The sound of the baby’s cry stirred Chantal from her daze. She looked at the crib where Wyatt was and wondered when she would feel the so-called mother’s love. She thought it would just immediately come out as soon as she birthed the child. She thought that the moment she would see her son, she would fall head over heels for him. Her mom told her that her love for her son would grow as days go by as she gets to know him. But why is it that even now, she doesn't feel that so-called warmth whenever she looks at him. All she saw is a small body who does nothing but drink milk, cry, sleep, poop and pee. Perhaps it’s because he reminds her of Henry. His facial features are so similar to him. He’s like a mini version of Henry. But instead of good memories, she would remember the times he cheated on her, the video he was in, the death of her dad. It’s all the more reason why she can’t look at the child with loving eyes.
Cassandra couldn’t read her niece’s thoughts. She was not as close with Chantal as she was with Diana. Chantal was exactly the perfect mix of Osmond and Vanessa. This would be her first time offering such advice to Chantal as in the past, the latter would just run off to do other things with her friends or that she would rarely communicate with them who were in Maconia. She felt bad for Wyatt when she heard Chantal’s words. ‘What exactly did she want to do?’ “Aunt, I think..for the sake of my sanity, I need a fresh start.” “I know you do. You and Wyatt would be okay. You can start afresh together.” Chantal shook her head again. “No, Aunt. I have to leave by myself. I can’t take Wyatt with me.” “What do you mean? Where are you going?” “Somewhere. I haven’t picked a place yet. But I will leave without hi
If it were another time, Vergil would have opposed Cassandra’s plan to adopt Wyatt. But now that he and his wife Regina were still confined in the hospital and there would still be a lot to do in the company at the moment, they wouldn’t be able to provide care for the child. Also, they’re both already in old age and it would be rather difficult to raise a baby on behalf of his parents. When Chantal and Diana were still children, they didn’t interfere much on how Osmond and Vanessa raise them. But of course, since knowing that Chantal was the one who is the real child of both parents, they have given her more attention. Only half of the attention was given to Diana. With Vanessa staying overseas to recuperate and Osmond forever gone, Chantal’s main support was not there for her at the moment. As grandparents who doted on this grandchild, they could only hope to ease her burden. They know she’s feeling lost with her father and husband gone. Although she and Henr
Saturday evening, the Lovell family gathered for dinner at the mansion. “Child, when do you and Diana plan to marry?” Lillian looked at the couple pointedly. There has been too much bad news on TV recently that she wanted to hear something to look forward to for a change. The young woman looked down shyly, her cheeks blushed red. She casted a glance at the handsome man beside her who was holding her hand under the table. “Grandma, I’m always ready to marry her. But she has a point. She has just started her medical program.” He pinched the young woman’s hand affectionately. “Hmph. The school is not going anywhere. You’re not getting any younger, child. How will you run around with your kids if you already have old bones?!” The old lady pouted childishly. She understood that times have changed and women these days value their careers just like men do.
That same evening, the aunt and niece were in serious conversation in Vergil’s office in the Winchester’s mansion. It has been a few days since the time Cassandra told her of her idea to adopt Wyatt instead of getting guardianship. She didn’t want her niece to make a hasty decision so once she told her, she left to give her a few days to think it over. During that time, Chantal would stop by at the nursery room to watch Wyatt as she mull things over. Her frustration was that he wouldn’t react much when she’s near. It’s as if he doesn’t recognize her as his mother. But when it comes to their maids, Wyatt would give a reaction as soon as they approach. She would even attempt to sing a lullaby once she heard him cry but he wouldn’t even be pacified by it. She even speculated that he could have been switched at birth, thinking back on what happened when she was born. It was because Diana was switched with an unknown ba
Sunday evening, phones beeping one by one as they received notification of email. Every one of them opened their mailbox to read it. ‘.....hang out with friends? Sure.’ “Sure! I’m game! When?” Cora replied instantly. Not long after, the others expressed their interest as well. To Cora, Koby and the others from her class, she told them that she’ll invite her friends at work as well as some family members. To Kate and the others from the Institute, she told them that she’ll invite her friends from Henhall University as well as Lucas’s brothers and cousins. “Oh! Cool! We’ll get to finally meet them. Can’t wait. So when is it going to be? Why don’t we create a group chat then, so you don’t have to reply to us one by one? Hehe” Cora could imagine Diana sending emails separately. “Right.. Hahaha.. I’ll make one now.” Diana created a group chat for them
His message appeared on the group chat. “Next Saturday at The Waterfront Well.” Meanwhile on the other group chat, Rowena asked them if they could meet up for brunch. She also wondered if they could have the whole day free just in case they would go somewhere afterwards. Rowena was more than pleased that Diana’s friends were easy to make plans with. They would go for it as long as they had enough time to plan their schedule in case it would coincide with work. What she didn’t expect was for her brother’s friends to also be so accommodating. Truth be told, this would be her first time hanging out with people she doesn't see at social gatherings of the wealthy. The same goes for her brother and his friends. Of course, this was until Lucas met Diana. They didn’t have any preconceived ideas towards others not in their social circle though. There just
“I agree. Although Lucas asked us to watch over her, she seems to have adapted well in her class. Anyway, now that her identity was revealed, who would dare try to harm her?” Remus Forrest has seen Diana on the campus many times. “Hmm.. Only the ignorants would dare do so.” Marcus Forrest chuckled. “I bet cousins Lillian and Ernest are proud to have such an addition to their family.” There was a trace of envy in Marcus’s voice as he said those words. If they were to have such a granddaughter in their own family, he would be over the moon as well. Instead, they have Meraud Pascow as his son’s wife and Elys as a granddaughter, although not by blood. His son, Remus Forrest, has been married before with Sienna Elliot. An accident happened and Sienna died. A few years later, he married Meraud Pascow who already had a daughter from her previous boyfriend who didn’t take responsibility. Remus, Sienn
