Part 75:: Restart

ANICA FAITH'S POV.

I rub my eyes the moment I open my eyes. Ezicx woke up when he felt that I moved. He was sleeping peacefully beside me while he was holding my hands.

"Anica, finally you are awake. We were so worried about you."

They gather around me as they heard Ezicx's words.

"I had a bad dream," I said while they looked at each other- worriedly.

In my dream, Papu died. He can't be dead.

"It is not a dream, baby." My father spoke. Ezicx pressed my hands before he stand up to give way to my father.

My father sat at the side of my bed. "I know it is hard to let go of someone you truly love but your papu can rest now." He said but his words are not comforting me at all.

The sincerity of his face did not appear as comforting to me. I do not want to accept.

I remained silent.

Tired, sad, restless and in pain.

These are the emotions that are taking shifts in my life.
