Part 71:: Something Died in Paris

ANICA FAITH'S POV

"Hi!" I ran and hugged Janine as soon as I saw her figure at the front door.

"How is the honeymoon?"I look at her and then at My brother, waiting for one of them to answer me but Aaron just excused himself " I will put our luggage in the room."He said And after that he took the luggage, carry it and then walk up in the staircase. I followed him with my gaze and when I saw that he is not around, I pull Janine's arm and motioned the maids to leave us for a while.

"So, how was it?" I said, interrogating her.

"Fine." She said in a tone I cannot recognize. That left me i wuestions and what ifs.

I know something is not right. She does not sound right. "What's wrong? Why aren't you talking much?" I asked.

She took something from her pocket and handed it to me.

It was a little keychain, a Paris keychain to be specific- a souvenir from their trip. "I picked that while I was strolling around Paris. It looked cute so I brought one for you."
