Part 5:: After That

Anica's POV

Heyyyy!! Wake up! Come on wake up!" I slap him with a pillow. 

"hmm" that's his only reply after being hit by a pillow.

"wake up!" Then I pushed him out of the bed, making him fall on the floor. 

He stand up touching and feeling his head, he did not even bother that he's naked-- totally naked. 

"ahh, my head, I feel so dizzy and why is it so cold here?" I looked in a different direction. 

"'cause y-you're wearing nothing, go get a dress!" 

Remembering how that monster subdue my wholesome makes me wanna grab a wand and create a portal heading to somewhere that nobody else can track.

He quickly grabs a pillow to cover his ass and his buddy and run towards the other room. 

"I'll get dress" And scratch his hair.

"you better be, I'm hungry, you go cook for me." 

He looked at me wondering, Tsk. I read novels and there are lots of scenes wherein after two people make love a guy should cook for her the next day so why the hell this man did nothing at all-- aside from giving me this physical pain.

"you cook for yourself." he points me somewhere "There's the mini kitchen and please make one for me too."

This is what I got for not getting a W*****d type of man.

I throw a pillow at him " what was that for!!?" He snorted while blocking the pillow from hitting him.

"Are you crazy or dumb? I can't even get up, I'm deeply hurt you son of a f*cker. You almost ripped me!" 

He scratches his head "oh my bad, I haven't thought Caspi was that big" 

I gave him a questioning look "Caspi? What rubbish are you talking about?" 

"ow that's the name of my you know HAHAHAHHAHAHA, it's Caspi's fault that you can't walk or stand right now, sorry-- I guess you made him angry" 

I was stunned for a couple of seconds, who would name their little pals down there? And what? Caspi? Such a lame name. 

𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑎 𝑝𝑒𝑟𝑓𝑜𝑟𝑚𝑒𝑟...interrupted by my thought. 

Oh yes, I forgot he's Caspian Arevalo anyway, he's a perverted jerk. 

"AHHHHHH! YOU PERVERT!"

I kinda smirk thinking about me badmouthing him in his own territory. 

"What do you want for breakfast? Aside from me".

Finally,y he asked.

"You dream, Pervert!" I exclaimed.

 "Go get yourself a dress first." 

"Dream? Hmmm, I remember it very clear the way you moan my name what was that again? Ahhh yes pleasee" he said while doing it in a way that will surely irritate you. 

cringe.

"Just cook the food so I can go home," I suggested. 

"Can you walk properly?" He ask, I saw a worry on his look. 

"you are required to take me home Mr., please I'm hungry just cook for now and please do not cook eggs and hotdogs, I had enough last night." 

"HAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA" he burst in laughter that made me raise an eyebrow. 

"what's funny?" 

"Nothing, you're just too naughty" 

 

To fast forward things two weeks have passed and I'm already experiencing Early pregnancy symptoms.

 

"WAHHHHHHH!!! CONGRATSSSS MY FRIEND!!!" erica's jumping like a kangaroo now while I was just right here, still not getting over it. 

"WHAT A MAN AREVALO, JUST ONE TRY AND DONE!" She added. 

I looked at the Pregnancy kit test, I had 5 pregnancy tests in front of me.

 

WITH ALL TWO LINES!! 

"E-erica," I called but she doesn't seem to hear me, I was looking nowhere, blinking my eyes, testing if everything is not a dream. 

I reach for her lower side of the dress and constantly pulling it to get her attention 

"I-I'm not dreaming, right? It's all positive so does that means I'm P-Pregnant?" I can't help but to stutter. 

I don't know what exactly should I feel right now. 

First of all, The father of this child was someone I met not even for a month. Second, I think my actions are too impulsive.

I dialled my mom's number. 

"M-mom" 

"yes baby, what is wrong?" She asked.

"Will it be wrong if I will tell you I'm pregnant?" I ask my mom. 

"Mom, am I slut?" I added.

"What!? Who told you that?" 

"me, I'm pregnant mom and that man in the news is now the father." I nervously bite my index finger.

"that's a good news baby, you should take a rest, take care of our grandchild," she said in a very chill tone, I look at the number I called, is this really my mom? 

when I confirmed, indeed I dialled the right number. 

"Really mom? Will you not scold me or anything like that? Or what?" I busted out.

" HAHAHAAHAA silly, why would I, you're growing old anica and that's too normal for you to get pregnant especially at that age of yours." 

I'm just 26 mom! Why sounding as if I'm about to get my senior citizen card? Hmpt!" 

"Okay okay, get a grip of yourself, have you told him already? your papu will be here by next month before he goes to his final operation." 

I ended the call and ring Arevalo's Phone number. 

"Hello." I coldly greet 

"This is anica and we have to talk, can you text me your address and I'll be there." 

What if this was all a game for him? 

Anyway, He's a man of games and I am the woman of playing.

I feel pity for this child inside me. 

"I'm on the set right now." 

back to your positions!!! I heard from his background, the director must be calling him already "I know, send me the address and I'll be there!" 

I received a message after I ended the call, it was the set location of their acting. 

I prepared and fix myself. 

The set was luckily nearby from where I am so I made it there in a very quick time. 

I picked up my sling bag and use my shades. I saw gazes and whispers, maybe because I look classy and chick, tsk well this is Anica Mendez duh. 

The scene that faced me when I got there was kissing. 

My feet were frozen and felt like there's a strong magnetism between my feet and the ground, I can't seem to move.

 

"CUTTTTT! Good Job Mr Arevalo and Ms Fueco" I saw how people around praise their act. 

Fueco girl was about to reach for his hand when I shout for his name and that caught almost everyone's attention, he grabs his bottle and run towards me. 

"HOYY! AREVALOO!" People began to whisper, they must have recognized me already.

"Hey, Ms Mendez What is up? Why are you here?" 

I saw the girl walking in our direction 

"You must be ---" I cut her words with 

"Anica Faith Mendez " I look at her boredly. 

"So Caspian, see yah later babe?" Looking at her stare, she's interested but I'm not interested 

with her. 

"Excuse me miss ah" I paved my way to face Arevalo and took my mini alcohol bottle from my sling bag and use wet wipes to wipe his lips, I heard a gasp and mumble around but I don't give a fuck. 

"Don't open your mouth Arevalo, don't you dare, or else I'll make you drink this whole stupid alcohol, that would clean your inside too. " I said fuming at his lips. 

Ealier, I found out I was pregnant and now I'll be seeing such scene, of course I'm pissed. 

Who would not be? 

I grab his hand, opens it and gave him the alcohol bottle. 

"It's better to disinfect." 

"What a child" I heard that fueco girl said. 

It seems likeIi had a boiling pot on my head with that words so I went to face her and took the pregnancy test then gave it in her hands. 

"Next time, you flirt those men without responsibility to take and those who aren't a property of others. I whispered to her ears and smirk. 

I can feel the gritting of her teeth and clutching the pt real hard. 

I drag Arevalo out of the scene and walk him towards my car.

"if my count was right, I was just away for almost 2 weeks, and what was that!!?" He blinks for how many times before he finally digests what I've said a while ago. 

"wait wait wait, what was that for? Earlier *chuckles*, are you jealous?" 

"JEalous? Why would I be?" 

"and why not?" He included, "you wipe my lips after our kissing scene, so that was not part of jealousy huh? 

He sigh and then started to talk 

"do not worry, she is just a co-worker, nothing more if that's what you think and that was just part of the scene" I put my index finger to his mouth

 "shhh I did not ask for your explanation" 

he sway my fingers away and said. 

"it feels like I'm obliged to explain since you look like a jealous wife HAHAHHAHAHHAHAH" he said teasingly.

"Ow you mean by the kissing scene?"

 

"Whatever! " I throw him the keys to my car  "drive the car", I open the car door myself and immediately sit on the sit, he gave me a very disappointed look, he signals me to go out of the car, 

"why?" I mouthed in the air. 

"I'm supposed to open the door!" 

To not prolong the conversation I did what I was told and gave him a sarcastic smile. 

" Thanks, Mr. Gentleman." 

As usual, the whole trip was a cemetery, he tried to talk but I did not respond. I was thinking about when to say the news. 

I bite my lip and release a big sigh before uttering the real reason behind my coming to his set. 

"I'm pregnant" 

"ouch!" I held my head, looking intently at him l when he suddenly stops the car.

"Fvck you Arevalo!, are you planning to get us killed huh?" 

"Sorry sorry, are you okay? he curved his body to check on me. "I'm sorry, what was that again?" 

"I'm pregnant " 

"I'm gonna be a dad??!" I saw genuine smile from him, does that mean he is happy? 

I felt soft because of his smile, this must be the reason why he had so many girls.

"HAHAHA WHY YOU WANT TO BE A MOM?" I joked at him. 

"Woahhhh! That's a piece of really great news!" my smile began to disappear, I remember the reason behind this pregnancy. 

Why am I feeling sad as of this moment? When in fact it's a joyful episode of a woman's life. 

'Pure Agreement' 

I tried not to ruin his mood so I gave back his smiles. 

He continues with his driving and the whole time, he can't seem to remove the smile on his face, I can't help but also smile. 

"You look very happy," I commented 

"Problem solved! Who will not be?!" My energy was shrinking, yes that's it! Problem solve. 

This baby is like a solution to our problem, nothing else. 

I should be happy now.
