President : Dashielle Sarmiento

Vice President:

Secretary:

Treasurer:

Cassy and Leon arrived a bit early in the club’s room. Mika and Dash are already there. Mika warmly greeted them and as expected Dash just smiled and continued to look at his notebook.

How can he be so snobbish? As if he hasn’t been with her and Leon before.

“Please get your seat and we will wait for the others before we start,” Mika said to them as she guided them.

“Thank you, Mika!” Leon smiled sweetly at her. “Is there a chance to change the president?”

Her eyes widened on hearing what Leon said. God. How can he say that as if Dash isn’t around?

Mika laughed and said,

“Well, I am not the right person to answer that question,” and looked in Dash’s direction.

Even if Leon’s voice is loud and enough for him to hear what he said, the guy stays still.

No reaction, meaning, he simply ignored what Leon said.

Mika just shrugged her shoulders and smiled at them.

Dash is conceited. This is what Cassy thought at that moment. Is it because teachers like him and almost everyone calls him Mr. Perfect? The nerve of this guy.

He could simply say that the position can be changed even just for the sake of being humble though they are all aware that he's the one that fits with the position and in the first place he created this club. Goodness!

Cassy is so pissed off. She loves Overwrite except that Dash is in the club too.

Cassy looked at the door and everyone started to arrive.

Well, she invited Amari but she hasn't seen her yet.

Oops. Speaking of the devil, here she is. Amari is shy and looking around as if finding something or should she say someone. Obviously, Amari is looking for her.

But Mika stopped Amari,

"And you are?"

"A---amari…" she answered, stammering.

Cassy waved at Mika and Amari then stood up. She walks towards them.

"Mika, this is Amari. She's a transferee and I invited her to our club." Cassy smiled at Mika then turned to Amari, "Did you bring any of your works?"

Amari nodded and opened the envelope she brought. It has a lot of papers. It looks like this is where she compiles all her works. "Here it is. Just let me know if you need more." She handed it over to Mika and smiled.

"Thank you. Let me just give it to our president so he can decide before the election begins." Mika headed in Dash's direction.

She saw Mika point out Amari and hand over the paper to Dash.

She saw Dash nodding and smiling as he went

through Amari's work.

Mika gave them a thumbs-up sign that means Amari passed the screening.

Cassy hugged her because of excitement and Amari hesitated at first but returned the hug. They hadn't parted yet when they heard a cough.

"Ehermm… Why do the two of you like to block people's way?" Demi on her devil's voice and rolled her eyes at them.

“Just ignore her,” Cassy whispered to Amari and guided her to sit beside them. Amari sat between Leon and Cassy.

"Hi, Amari!" Leon greeted her with a smile.

Denim chose to sit in front and behind her are Cassy, Amari, and Leon.

She looked back and said to Cassy, “Are you really hoping that being active in this club can make you and Dash together again?” and she smirked.

“Do you think that makes you look cute?” Leon said he cannot hold himself any longer.

“And who is this?” Demi raised a brow.

“Oh, sorry, you don’t know me? Ms. Minion?” Leon continued to make fun with Demi.

“What did you just call me?” Demi’s voice raises a bit.

“Oh, a minion easily loses her temper, huh?” He continued and was not bothered with Demi’s voice. “Here’s a little advice, stop provoking Cassy, I am telling you, you won't like what will happen." Leon's face turned serious this time.

Demi released an insulting smile, "Are you threatening me?"

"Are you threatened?"

"Of course not!"

"Well, that's good. That is also not a threat but I am stating a fact. So better behave yourself, minion." Then Leon diverted his gaze with the other students entering the room.

Cassy's ears clapped as Leon won the conversation with Demi. Just imagine her bullied friend before is now defending her from those people who like to bully her.

Time can really change people. Her thin and pale best friend who always got beaten is now like a lion that is always ready to protect her.

She smiled and looked at Leon who also gazed in her direction. Their eyes met, she uttered, "Thank you. " without a sound and Leon understood and gave him a nod.

Poor Demi, she doesn't need to say any word to knock her off. She's lucky to have Leon by her side and now, she has Amari too. Amari is just like Leon when she first saw him.

Cassy looked at Amari and said, "Are you okay?"

Amari just looked at her with innocent eyes and nodded.

"Are you sure?"

"Uhm…" Amari thought for a second before speaking again, " I am sorry, Demi is not mad at you because of me." She said feeling very guilty about what's happening.

She let out a deep sigh. Well, how can she say that Demi is really making things difficult for her since she got in a relationship with Dash?

And what happened with Amari just added to her anger.

"Hey, don't feel that way." She smiled. "Demi just really got the attitude but don't mind her, okay? Leave everything in my hands."

Amari still looked not okay but just nodded at her.

"Alright, it seems like we are almost here now so I think we can start the meeting," Mika said as she started to walk to the front.

She clapped her hand to get everyone's attention.

"Good afternoon, everyone!"

The crowd answered back, "Good afternoon, Ms. Mika!"

"That's the energy! I think everyone had a good lunch, huh?" Mika said liking the positive vibes that the members have.

"So, shall we start?" She continues. She doesn't have a microphone but her voice is clear and loud. She's perfect for her position as the club's president assistant.

Mika easily catches everyone's attention.

She's to be admired for how passionate she does her job at Overwrite.

For a short time, Cassy knew that Mika could easily get in touch with the emotions of people around her.

She listens intently to the members without interrupting and understanding them. She responds in a way of being mindful of what others will feel.

Maybe this is why Dash put her in that position. Well, that isn't meant to be a compliment for Dash but for Mika.

Well, she can see that Mika can get along easily with the club members because of her engaging personality so she couldn't agree more.

Natalie raised her hand," I am pleased to nominate Cassy for vice president. " These words bring Cassy back to her senses.

What the f---ck just she say?

Cassy quickly stood up and shook her head.

She smiled at Natalie who's looking at her, "I am sorry, Nat. But, I don't think I fit the position…" she said apologetically and continued, " So, I refused. Please don't write my name." She said looking at Mika.

Mika nodded in response.

Natalie didn't react. Well, she can't do anything if Cassy doesn't like it.

"You should have not attended this election meeting if you don't like getting nominated," Demi said in a not-so-loud voice but enough for everyone to hear this especially Cassy.

Well, she got a point there. Still, she said in a very rude way.

This time, Cassy spoke but not to answer her the same way, "Yeah, I am sorry for that. But I came here to support the club activity as well by making a vote. I think being an officer is just too much for me."

She said looking at everyone but didn't dare to look at Demi because she knew if she tried to, the war of words wouldn't end.

"Thank you for your understanding."

"You aren't even sure if you're going to win but you refused already," Demi whispered. "That's just too much self-confidence, huh? Not because someone nominated you, the majority will be voting for you. Just my two cents." She continued.

Cassy just pretended that she didn't hear anything and focused herself on Mika.

She closed her eyes. "What have I done to you, Demi? You just hate me so much." She's getting frustrated. She gritted her teeth and closed her fist.

Her heart pounds. She is having difficulty breathing.

Inhale. Exhale. It's weird. Why all of a sudden did she feel this?

Leon looked at her and he's a bit worried.

"Are you okay?" he asked Cassy.

"Yeah, I think so," she answered.

"You look pale," Leon said to her and she suddenly felt her knees trembling and feeling weak.
