The real Nathan

“Let’s get outta here.” Izzy shouts.

Isaac leaves with the girls as though it was planned.

As soon as they got downstairs, Izzy made herself clear to Isaac.

“Isaac or I-saac, however your name is pronounced. Leave me alone. I want nothing to do with you.” Izzy said.

“Is it because you’re seeing someone else or what? Cause I know I didn’t do nothing wrong.” Isaac said.

You don’t need to do anything wrong. My comfortability is what matters and as of now, I’m no more comfortable with you around me. Speaking of seeing someone else……., that’s my ride there. Ciao.

Nathan came to pick them up to go for a picnic organized by a fraternity he was in. . Isaac is left there.

Who was that guy you were standing with? Nathan ask Izzy.

Oh that’s was Isaac. We were friends but not anymore.

Why kind of friends? Nathan insists.

“Does that really matter now? Let’s just have fun.” Izzy smiles and starts to set up the picnic as Nathan pulls her hard by the arm. “I asked you a question!”

“Ouch what the hell? You’re hurting me babe.”

Bernice’s attention is drawn toward them va use of the shout of her friend. When Nathan notices that Bernice was looking in their direction, he lets go and apologizes.

“Babe, I just want to know.”

“Well if you really want to know. We had sex a couple of times just before I met you, but there’s nothing going on between us now. And for the record, this should be the last time you grab me like that.”

Bernice gives Nathan a ‘ I don’t like you’ look.

Nathan go out to join his friends.

Bernice rushes over to Izzy.

“Izzy? Are you okay? I saw.”

“Don’t worry it’s fine. It was just a misunderstanding. Nothing big.” Izzy replies taking in a deep breath.

“I sure do hope so”.

They had fun and the picnic was to come to an end.

“Bernice, have you seen Nathan?” Izzy asks.

“Nah. Not since the whole ‘you know what’”.

“Okay, Im gonna go look for him. It’s getting late and we need to head back home.” Izzy rushes into the frats house to find him.

“ There you are” Izzy says feeling relieved.

Nathan was drinking and already drunk with his friends.

“You know we have to leave now right? My Mom is gonna be worried and plus it’s getting late”. Izzy says.

“You don’t get to tell me what to do.” Nathan replies.

Izzy smiles sarcastically and tries to get him out so that they leave. Nathan slaps Izzy.

He then realizes that he had done so much wrong. He then holds her and apologizes and they leave. Bernice has not idea what had happened and Izzy did not say a word. They got home and Izzy went straight to bed and Bernice stayed over since it was late for her to go home.
