"Promise me that we will always be together until the end of our lives."

"Yes, I promise you. I will only love you and always be with you forever."

After making a promise, they held each other's hands and walked to the wedding altar. The smile on their face showed how happy they were.

Before they reached the wedding altar, the groom heard a loud sound that made him conscious. He suddenly opened his eyes and woke up. He reached out his phone and then turned off the alarm. After that, he remembered his wedding dream with a beautiful girl that he never met before. Daniel woke up that morning with a question on his mind,

"Who is the girl in my dream?" He wondered.

Even if it was a dream, he felt that everything in that dream was so real. He also still remembered how the bride looked. She had long black wavy hair and also beautiful grey eyes. Then he talked to himself, "Will she be my bride? Was the dream a vision of my future like my others' dream?"

Daniel was happy for that dream because he hoped that he could get married at the age of 23. It implied that he still had two years left to find his bride.

For a couple of years, Daniel started to make a dream journal. If he still remembers his dream, he would write it down in his journal. He took his journal that he put in his drawer and also a pen to make a note.

From all of the dreams that he has written down, there were around a half of them that came true and he hoped that this dream would come true as well.

He began to remember the details of his dream and started to write them all. He also didn't forget to write the physical appearance of his bride, so when he met her in reality, he would notice her.

Six months later, Daniel passed a new coffee shop near his workplace. He didn't know why this place attracts his attention so much. He stood in front of that shop and started to look at the standing board to know what was written on it. That new coffee shop gave a special offer of 50% off for their new customers.

"Hmm, a good offer. Maybe I should try some coffee here. It's affordable," Daniel talked to himself. 

Daniel then entered the coffee shop which had an Emerald paint to buy a hot coffee to make him warm in that cold weather before he went back to his house. He started looking at the menu and considered buying white chocolate mocha because he couldn't drink pure coffee.

There was another customer who was still ordering and Daniel waiting for his turn. After waiting for around 5 minutes, he finally could order. He began walking to the woman who stands in front of a cashier machine. She had long black wavy hair and it was tied up. The woman then asked Daniel, "What would you like to order?"

Daniel looked at her face and then he was thinking a lot. He felt that he saw this woman before but not sure when and where.

"Did I know her? She looks familiar."

Laura waited for Daniel to tell her his order, but he just stared at Laura without blinking his eyes and didn't say anything. What he did just made her feel confused.

"What happens to him?" Laura wondered.

"Sorry, have you considered what menu you would like to order?" Laura asked him one more time to make him speak up.

"Hmm, I would like to order a grande white chocolate mocha," said Daniel to her.

"Anything else?"

"Hmm, no."

"Okay. One grande white chocolate mocha is $ 1." Said Laura. Daniel then took his money and paid for that coffee.

"You can wait for the coffee over there. Thanks for your order." Laura pointing to her right side.

Daniel walked to the place where he would take his order. While he waited for his white chocolate mocha, he looked at Laura who was busy serving her customers. She then realized if Daniel was looking at her. When her co-worker, Emma passed by her and brought customers' orders, Laura stopped and told her about him who acted weirdly.

"Wait, wait."

"Yes, what happens?"

"Do you see the man who wears a black coat over there?"

"Yes, I am. What happens with him?" Asked Emma to raise her eyebrows.“

"I catch him staring at me and he also acts weirdly. He makes me afraid." Laura whispered to her friend.

"Maybe he likes you and is impressed by your beauty, haha." Emma tried to make Laura not worry and then leave her to give the coffee to customers.

"Daniel Rebholz?" asked Emma before giving the order.

"Yes?"

"Oh, your name is Daniel Rebholz?" Emma tried to make sure about his name.

"Yes, that's my name." He answered.

"Oh, yeah. My friend just said that you were staring at her and she was afraid of you."

"Oh, sorry. I don't have any bad intentions for your friend. I just feel that I knew your friend but not sure where and when did I meet her. I even don't remember her name." Daniel tried to explain and make it clear.

"Oh, that is the reason. I will tell her about it so she does not feel worried anymore."

"Yes, please tell her. Could you tell me her name? Maybe I can remember if I know her name." asked Daniel to Emma.

Emma thought for a while and then looked at her friend. She was not sure about telling him about the name of her friend, Laura.

"Should I tell him?" Asked Emma to herself because she wasn't sure.

She then looked at Daniel once again before determining about it. "Hmm, he seems a good guy, but I cannot tell him without Laura's permission."

She still didn't say anything and Daniel knew that she would not tell him at all.

"You don't have to tell me if you are doubt," said Daniel

"Oh, yeah. I am sorry." Emma felt guilty.

"Okay, never mind. Thanks for the coffee!" He thanked Emma and then had a sit down to enjoy the coffee.

Emma was back to her work to make coffee for other customers. She planned to tell Laura that Daniel asked for her name after the shop was closed.

After 30 minutes Daniel spent his time just looking at Laura and enjoying his coffee, he decided to go back to his house. He cannot be right there for so long. He did not want Laura to feel uncomfortable because of him. He left the coffee shop with a little bit of feeling disappointed.

It was almost 8 pm, Laura and her co-workers got prepared to close the shop because there were no customers anymore in their shop. Before they left the shop, Emma wanted to tell Laura about Daniel.

"That man asked me for your name," said Emma.

"What? Seriously?" Laura was shocked.

"Yeah. He said that he knew you before but he cannot remember where and when he met you, so he asked for your name." Emma explained to her friend.

"Did you tell him my name?" Laura looked at Emma's eyes and hoped that her friend did not do it.

"No, I didn't. I know if you will not allow me for doing so," told Emma.

After hearing that, she felt relieved. She did not want something bad to happen to her for the second time. A kidnapping that occurred 14 years ago just leaves so much trauma to her. She did not know who Daniel is and she was afraid if he had a bad intention for her.

Laura came from a rich family. Her father, Adam Smith was a trader and he could earn two million dollars per year. Because of her family's fortune, she was the target of kidnapping. She was held hostage for 3 days until a police officer could arrest the kidnappers.

That nightmare happened when she was 13 years old when she was going to her friend's house to have a birthday party. She was going by bus by herself. Laura still remembered all of the occasions especially when one of the kidnappers was always staring at her and also spying on her. They got Laura into the car and brought her to a small town and then called her dad asking for one million dollars. That was why Laura was afraid of Daniel.

Laura did not want to pass her day with the kidnapping trauma. Therefore, when Daniel came to her coffee shop, Laura would do something that would make him not come anymore.
