She abruptly regained her senses and shook her head, saying, “It’s nothing. I’m a little hungry, that’s all. I think dinner has been served?”

“Then let’s get something to eat,” he said while placing his arm around her waist and walking toward the food section.

They had prepared a lot of delicacies for tonight’s party, and it was buffet-style.
