Chapter 508

Sebastian happily embraced his mommy, feeling immensely warm in her arms.

“Mommy, please don’t leave us again, okay?” The little guy looked up at her while he was in her embrace.

Sharon leaned her body sideways to stare at her son’s face, which was looking more and more like Simon’s. Under the dim lights, there was an unnoticeable trace of sadness flashing across her eyes.

She could no longer give him any promises. Frankly speaking, even bringing her son back home tonight was something that had exceeded her boundaries.

She should have fiercely refused them and cut off all contact with them, but her heart was not made of stone. She could not force herself to be so indifferent.
