Sharon pursed her lips silently. She was well aware that Eugene’s family background would only be more complicated considering he was the head of the Newton family. She merely believed that the happenings within the Newton family had nothing to do with her.

She and Eugene were no more than friends right now. If anything, Eugene just happened to care for her as if she was his long-lost sister. Their relationship was hardly complicated at all.

Not to mention that she was a normal office worker for the company. There was no reason for her to be involved with the Newton family.
