“Eugene…” Sydney had fallen to the floor disgracefully. When she saw him acting so coldly and cruelly like he wanted nothing more than to kill her, she finally realized that Fern was not just a person whom he cared about!

Eugene turned around and noticed that the scalpel had left a gash on Fern’s arm. His brows furrowed tightly at once.

“Didn’t I order you guys to protect her? What were you guys doing?” Eugene, who was usually well-mannered and noble, lost his temper in front of the bodyguards. He exuded a terrifying aura.

The bodyguards lowered their heads. They did not even dare to let out a single breath.

“Can you come over to treat her wound?!” he shouted at a nurse.

The nurse must have been so shocked by his cold attitude that she did not come over and help Fern treat her wound sooner. She rushed over at once.
