Eugene carried Rue in his arms and turned around to look at his grandfather. “Thank you for your good intentions, Grandfather. However, Rue won’t be able to get used to living with you. Besides, she needs me and Fernie right now,” he said politely.

“Yes, I’ll bring you away now.” Eugene turned around to leave.

The old master spoke up again, “Wait.” He stared at Eugene coldly and asked, “Are you still going to send her back to that woman’s place? Do you think you can use Rue as an excuse to rekindle your relationship with her?”
