Chapter 1192

When Rue came chasing after her, a black Bentley drove in from outside. It was Eugene's car.

Fern saw the number plate of the car which she was very familiar with and felt her heart sink. She did not expect Eugene to return at this hour.

Eugene got down from the car and immediately saw Fern, who was dragging her luggage out, about to leave. Meanwhile, his daughter came running after her from inside.

Rue pulled on her mother's hand, her dark eyes looking at her. She said anxiously, "Mommy, are you trying to leave by bringing all your things away? Aren’t you coming back anymore?”

Even though Fern had not told her flat out about her plans and even used her career as an excuse, Rue was still a bright child. She noticed that her mother had packed her luggage differently from how she usually did, so she could not help but feel that something was off.

She lowered her head and looked into her daughter's innocent dark eyes. Suddenly, she choked up and could not bring herself to lie to Rue.
