"Why does he have to be so difficult?" I thought to myself.
Every girl loves the chase but when it has to do with father and son it's not something I can take up.
It's definitely not something I want to be tangled with because it definitely won't end nice.
I was still deep in thought when I heard my name from behind,I quickly turned around to where the voice came from and it was Alpha Damien.
I walked up to him and he held me by my waist.
He took me around the ball room as we greeted each and every one of his guests.
I love being claimed.
It is an unreal feeling it got me smiling like a newly wedded bride.
I noticed a few people we addressed were staring at me in a very weird way but I didn't mind that because I am now his Luna.
From being thrown out from my pack which I trusted with all of my being to being the Luna of this pack.
"I am definitely lucky to be here",I thought.
I saw Luther staring at me from a distance. I just couldn't keep eye contact with him so I left for the balcony.
I needed some alone time away from the prying eyes of everyone in the ballroom.
I stood there as the wind swooshed my hair side to side.
"You callous brat!"
I turned immediately to see who dared to talk to the Luna in that manner.
It was none other than Lucy.
She held my arm so tightly, squeezing it in a very harsh way.
"I warned you to stay away from Alpha Damien! But you turned a deaf ear to my words" she said her fangs popping right out of their place.
I dragged my arm from her tight grip
"Who the hell do you think you are to touch me in that manner!" I roared at her.
Her eyes widened in shock as she never thought I would raise my voice to anyone let alone her.
"This piece of cheap clothing" she said as she touched the fabric of my dress, my eyes following her every movement.
"This skin" she said and touched my cheeks.
I immediately pushed her hands.
"This body!",she said as she sized me from head to toe.
"All this isn't the quality of a true Luna!You do not possess the quality of a Luna,and as long as I am concerned you are nothing but the bed warmer of Alpha Damien!" She said her voice filled with anger.
"Don't you dare talk to your Luna in that tone!" I blasted at her.
She was stunned she just stared blankly at me.
"Luna?" She laughed and twirled in a ridiculous way.
"You are no Luna Amelia,to be a Luna doesn't count on your physical beauty or the way a garment suits your skin!" She said and hissed.
"What do you mean by that Lucy!?" I asked.
My heart beat got faster and I could not wait to rip her apart.
"You and I know how weak your wolf is, Amelia," she added.
"It is just a matter of time and Alpha Damien will see you for the weakling that you truly are!"
I slapped her across her face before she got another chance to speak.
She turned her face to me in total shock.
I was infuriated within me I didn't know I could get so angry at anyone let alone react that way to anyone in the pack.
She used her two hands to support the place my slap landed.
"You will pay for this!" She said and left.
I looked at my hand in shock,I definitely did not do that on my own will.
It was as if my hands had some thought of its own.
I was shocked at what I just did but definitely not worried because whatever Lucy feels she can do I can double that!.
I smiled uncontrollably showing my thirty two out to the sky as I jumped like a child who was just given candy.
I never knew I had it in me to hit Lucy,well I guess my body has had enough of her torments and emotional torture.
She has crossed the line several times with me and mistook my silence for weakness,that slap ought to teach her not to mess with me.
"Amelia,...hey Amelia",Lana called out as she walked up to me and dragged me into the ballroom.
"We've all been waiting for you Amelia,me and the brides and lady Rosa" she added.
I followed her to where the other brides and lady Rosa were standing and we all talked and laughed together.
"Black isn't a bad Choice after all Amelia",lady Rosa said as she admired my dress.
"I told you all," I said and smiled at her.
I could see Lucy mopping at me from a distance with a death stare.
I couldn't care less of what she thought of me at this point or what her dirty mind is plotting towards me.
I know she wants me out of her way and obviously she will take any chances to get what she wants.
But I am definitely not as weak as she thinks I am.
I was still talking to the brides when a familiar face passed us.
I steadied my gaze on the face and it was Isabelle
"No way it can't be the same Isabelle I used to know".
My goodness it IS Isabelle!
I turned around in search of Alpha Kade but he was nowhere to be found.
"Noone from the blood moon pack is here so why Isabelle?" I thought.
I turned to look at where she stood but she was nowhere to be found,it was as if she disappeared into thin air.
"I sincerely hope my past doesn't find a way to sabotage my newly found happiness",I thought to myself and walked back to where the brides stood.
