Isla's POV

The school's teachers hurried to separate us, their voices raised in a futile attempt to quell the rising tension. Silvan and I found ourselves escorted to the principal's office alongside the three girls involved in the altercation. As we sat in the cramped office, tension hung heavy in the air, thick and suffocating.

Silvan shot me a sideways glance, his expression tense with suppressed anger. "This is a mess," he muttered under his breath, his voice tight with frustration.

I nodded in agreement, my emotions running high as I struggled to contain the turmoil within me. "I can't believe this is happening," I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper.

One of the girls, her face flushed with indignation, turned to me with a sneer. "You think you're so special, don't you?" she spat, her words dripping with venom.
