Dario’s POV

“It doesn’t end there.” Isla’s grandfather said. My eyes turned to Isla and her gaze was placed on her grandfather, that she didn’t notice that I was staring at her.

My eyes flickered away, when I heard his voice picked up, in a rather rouged tone.

“Isla holds the power to make and break things.” He said. “That is why the one with the power of the moon is supposed to remain pure and chaste, otherwise, they would lose their powers and would even cause bad things to start happening to the people around them.”

“And now with this pregnancy and the things that have happened between the both of you, the chaos that awaits us.” He continued. “Is so much greater than you could imagine.”

My heart skipped a beat as I heard his words, chaos. I believed that there was a way out of all this. Isla’s grandfather had known about the prophecy for years, surely he knew what to do in this case.

I peered his way. “Isn’t there a way out of all this?” I spoke with concern.

Isla’s POVThe following day, the guilty feeling in me had picked up. A part of me felt like I was the one who had controlled Dario to say those words he said yesterday.I had influenced his actions, probably because I was scared of losing him. I know my theory sounded crazy but my grandfather had said I willed the power to make and break things. Right now, I didn’t even trust myself nor did I trust our mate bond. It felt like it was a facade, and an illusion. Like it wasn’t real because I had forced it to happen. My heart ached just thinking about it, and it became even worse when my eyes landed on Dario. He was still asleep and had the most peaceful look in his eyes. I knew that in his mind, he was thinking that he had won me back and chased away the guilty feeling within me but little did he know that his words had increased it.My eyes which were on him shifted to the other side of the room, as thoughts settled in my head. I didn’t spend much time lost in my head as the soun

Dario’s POV (6 months later.)The sunlight filtering through the curtains had awoken me, I pulled myself up staring at Isla who was sound asleep. I moved closer to her, with my eyes landing on her bump.Isla’s body had expanded during the last six months and it was lovely to see her body transform in that manner. Till now, it still fascinated me how her tiny and slender body grew.I used my fingertips to trace her belly as those thoughts settled in my mind. The time I had decided to stop. Isla had reacted to it. Her eyes which was once close flickered open, and she stared at me.“Good morning.” I whispered, adjusting myself upwards to give her a kiss.“Good morning my love.” She had responded, with her lips meeting mine. We stayed in that position for a while before I pulled away, moving down to her belly.I rested my head close to it, with my fingers moving round the bump. “I think she wants to say good morning too.” I pointed out.“Do you think so?”“I know so!” I said looking

Isla’s POVAfter Dario had left, the sound of the door opening caught my ears. At first I thought it was Dario who had probably forgotten something but the sound of the high-pitched woman’s voice made me realise that it wasn’t Dario.“ I thought you were Dario.” I said, walking in Diane’s direction. After everything that had happened between Diane and I we’ve settled our differences thanks to our grandmother, and I’ve also learned to forgive her.If it wasn’t for her, I wouldn’t be where I was and my grandmother wouldn’t have come into my life. It was safe to say that Diane was part of the reason my things took a turn for the best. Now, I knew who I was and understood what I was capable of.“Are you going to stand there or pretend that I’m the love of your life?” Diane’s voice cut through my thoughts.“I think I’ll pass. Your short frame is no match for the tall one Dario possesses.” I pointed out.“Okay, that hurt a lot.” Diane replied.“Suck it up.” I cooed walking back to the

Isla’s POVI couldn’t sleep, my mind was focused on the attack that had happened. I was worried about Dario, I had sent him a dozen texts and called him several times but still there was no reply from him.I was scared and worried within. I hoped that nothing would have happened to Dario because I knew that if anything happened to him it meant I would have to be on my own.How would I be able to survive without him by my side holding me tight? How will I be able to strive without his support?‘Things would be so bad and my child…’ I paused on that thought. ‘My child would end up being fatherless.’The minute that thought settled in my mind, I stood on my feet unable to bear it. I needed a distraction from my thoughts, a way out from this constant swirling in my mind. So I walked to the window, staring out of it with a saddened expression plastered on my face. Sadly, this little act seems to do me no good. The thoughts which were flying in and out of my mind increased creating more

Dario’s POVThe past month has been quiet with no attacks from the packs and no news about any drawing danger, but I wasn't settled so I decided to hold a meeting.During my arrival at the meeting the councilmen stood on their feet, to display their formal greetings and they returned to their positions once I took my seat. “I’m sure you all are aware why this meeting is being held,”I said. ”It is about the attack laid on our pack, and something needs to be done to stop any future attacks.”“We had handled the past attack perfectly so why—“ The eldest of the councilmen spoke but I caught him short. “We need to be alert. We know these people wouldn’t just give up, they would return.”“So what do you suggest we do?” One of the councilmen asked.“We plan!” I said. “We strategize, we have to keep every man on the lookout, beyond the pack and within the pack.”“For how long are we going to do so?”“As long as we can. • Wanting My Lycan King Godfather   The End.

Five years later. I woke up to the sound of my children's excited voices, their laughter cascading through the air like a warm, familiar embrace. Pulling my eyes open, I gradually focused on my daughter. She was standing really close to me, with her hands crossed behind her back "Mommy, come downstairs! Quick!" she exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. Her hands, which were crossed behind her back, moved forward to touch mine. "Mommy, come on! Quick!" she exclaimed, with a higher pitched tone. I tried to understand my daughter’s sudden need for me to go downstairs. I glanced at the clock on my bedside, and I realized it was just eight in the morning. It was quite early. Very early. I sighed, turning to look at Selene who seemed to have given up. When she saw I wasn’t budging she let go of my hands and headed out of the room. Then she returned few seconds later, with a pretty determined face. “Mom, this is really important.” Not long after she said those words ,

  • Wanting My Lycan King Godfather   157: The Queen Luna

Isla’s POVThe night was quiet. The only sound breaking the stillness of the air was the soft rustle of leaves outside our window. I lay in bed after I had managed to put my daughter to bed, dozing off. Suddenly, a cry pierced the silence, a sound that jolted me awake. My eyes flew open, my heart pounding, and without hesitation, I swung my legs over the side of the bed, my bare feet meeting the cool wooden floor as I rushed towards the nursery. Dario, who had heard the sound of our daughter’s cry, rolled out of bed. He walked behind me, his steps slower than mine.I pushed open the nursery door when I got there. Dario and I had put the nursery in order some days ago. Actually, Dario had done all the work; I just stood there watching him since he wouldn’t let me help.Gliding past the entrance, I felt a surge of warmth fills me at each step. I moved to the crib, which was adorned with soft blankets and stuffed animals. Then I reached for my baby, cradling her gently in my arms."Hush

Isla’s POVI stood wrapped in Dario’s arms, with my heart racing with excitement.. Dario, had just proposed to me.It all felt surreal like none of it was true and I was leaving in the walls of my imagination, but as I glanced at the sparking gem in my hands. I would never have believed that person, but here I was today, leaving my dreams.Dario pulled his hands away from me, he placed a soft kiss on my ringed finger, then he moved his hands to my face.“My Luna!” He said softly. I blushed not hiding the fact that I was filled with joy. During that moment, the thought of spilling everything that happened to my parents crossed my mind. Dario’s POVI walked into the mansion with Isla by my side. Finally, the battle was over.I stared at her as those thoughts settled in my mind. The victorious look in her eyes was not so different from mine. She must have noticed that I was staring at her because she looked my way, and I noticed as tears began to full from her eyes.“We did it!” She said with her lips curved up. “We finally did it!”“You did it!” I said moving close to her. I wrapped my hands around her body, planting a kiss on her forehead. The joy in my heart couldn’t be contained, and right now the only thought on my mind was finally seeing my child—my daughter. My hands which were on Isla uncurled and my eyes swerved in the opposite direction staring at Jonas.“Inform the men to take care of the bodies and clean everywhere up.” Jonas nodded at my reply, after that was said I turned to look at Isla.“Let’s go see our child.” Together, we made our way up the stairs, crossing the bodies that were at the staircase.

  • Wanting My Lycan King Godfather   154. "Silence!"

Isla’s POV The battle unfolded before my eyes, as I ran upstairs. I watched as more of the attackers stepped into the mansion walls with their weapons in their hands. It seemed that Dario had called upon on his men from the human base because I noticed that among those attackers were men far more armed and ready to take down whoever dared to stand in their way.As I ascended up the stairs the sounds of body dropping to the ground filled my ears. A sign the men were already taking action.“Do you think it’s going to work?” Nima’s voice spilled into my mind as I continued to walk.“What is?” I questioned, trying to grasp what she was trying to say.“The plan you have to weaken the cursed blood.”“I know it will. The fact that this idea crawled into my mind means it will work and if it doesn’t we would find another way.”Nima didn’t say any words after and I focused on the hallway ahead of me. I arrived in front of the room where my grandmother was staying with Diane and my baby. I tr
