Still don't Believe Me

Addison's POV

I was feeling much better after a night in intensive care. I knew from Shofia that Hayden had taken care of all the administrative costs of my hospitalisation. Even Shofia claimed not to have met Damon here when Hayden saw Damon come to my hospital room yesterday.

"You should have stayed here for further treatment."

Hearing Shofia's words, I shook my head. "I have to keep my mouth shut, right?" Because I don't want Damon to know any more about what I'm suffering right now. I don't want to get pity from her like she told me repeatedly.

"Alright, Addy. I know you're very stubborn and don't want to hear my words, which are better than your own choices."

I knew that Shofia wasn't really angry with me. She was just annoyed with my attitude, which was very stubborn. Like I said earlier I just don't want Damon to know my true condition.
