Chapter:1

"Doesn't he come yet?"one woman around 25/26 years old told a woman who seems around 45/47 years old.

"Not yet ,Ms marie"the old one replied.

"I think Mrs.Braganza today he won't come."Ms.Marie mused.

"No..Ms.marie ,I don't think so. As far I know he today he will come that for sure.I guess he must be engaged with some important work."Mrs.Braganza interjected.

"Maybe you are right"Ms.Marie nodded and after a short pause she said"You know what Mrs.Braganza, I never saw a man like him!!she is very lucky"

"She is.Indeed."Mrs.Briganja nodded in agreement.

At the same time somewhere In a office conference room ...

A meeting is going on.And one person showing his presentation to the clients.The Person who is giving presentation named Abhinav Rathore;a tall,good looking and handsome man.

He is frequently watching his watch and trying to finish the presentation as soon as possible as he is getting late for something.

"Mr.Rathore ,We are really impressed with your presentation.Your idea is quite new and profitable.So, we've decided to give this contract to your company"one of client said to Abhinav when he finished his presentation .

"Thanks ,Mr.Chopra for giving this deal to our company.I am sure you will not regret for your decision."Abhinav said with a smug smile on his face.

"It's our pleasure to work with your company and specially with you, Mr.Rathore."Mr.Chopra said as he did shake hand with him.

The meeting ended....

"Abhinav ,today your presentation was too good.I am proud of you ,my son"Abhinav's father,Mr.Suyesh Rathore said, patting his son's shoulder when he came to his cabin.

"Thanks,dad."he smiled.

"Dad,I have to leave now.You know,I'm getting late to go there."

"Okay,my son.You please go."His father said .

"And yes ,And please handle mom"Abhinav said with a pleading eyes.

His father nodded his head .Abhinav smiled in relief and then walked out of his father's cavin.

He got into the car and headed to his destination.On his way he stopped his car and bought a bouquet of stargazer and choclates for someone special.

He reached to his destination and that is a hospital .He parked his car in a parking lot and got out of the car.Slamming the door of his car he broke into a run, holding the bouquet in his right hand.He entered into the hospital and came to the third floor stopping in front of a room.

"I hope she will be happy seeing her favourite flowers and will forgive me for my late arrival"he whispered to himself as he placed his hand on the door knob.

He twisted the knob and pushed the door open.

As it's a private hospital and the room is for VIP patients so it's quite well maintained .The walls are painted in soft faded white color,institutional tiles floor ,lather sofa at one corner of the room and a plazma Tv hanging on wall.And ofcourse there is a bed at the middle of the room along with  a bedside table .

Getting into the room,Abhinav closed the door and walked towards the bed where his lady love is laying , closing her eyes.

He came near her bed,pulled a steel stool and sat on it,just beside her head.

The room is quite calm and peaceful apart from the beeping sounds of the machines which are connected with her.

"Good evening ,Amu."Abhinav said to his lady love,Amaira and placed a kiss on her forehead.But she didn't react to it.

"I am really sorry,Amu.I know you are angry with me as I've become very late today.But trust me I didn't do it intentionally.Suddenly an important meeting came up in office and I got engaged with it."he  explained .

"Okay, look what I've brought for you. Your favorite flower, stargazers.You like them,right?"he said showing her the bouquet.

"And I've brought your favourite choclates as well. "He said as he pulled a Cadbury chocolate out of his coat pocket.

It's his way to ask forgiveness from her.Whenever he does mistake ,he bring her favourite flower and chocolates to pacify her.

"You're not angry with me anymore.You've forgiven me ,right?"he asked and waited for her to give answer.

She didn't answer .

Slowly his smile vanished with passing moments and a sadness appeared on his face.

"Come on,Amu Say something.At least say something to show your anger if you're."he said in a pleading voice.

He took her hand upon him ."Please, Amu!"he whispered as his eyes filled with tears.

Amaira is in coma from the last 4 years.And in these years, no matter where he is,what he do ,everyday he somehow manage to go to the hospital  and meet her. He spend most of his time in hospital with her.

Suddenly the door opened and a woman, holding a tray of medicines entered into the room.

Abhinav quickly wiped the tears with his thumb that had formed at the corner of his left eyes and rose from his seat .

"Good evening,Mrs. braganza."He said to her, putting on a fake smile to hide his emotions.

"Good evening,my child"Mrs.braganza smiled as she came near the bed.

"When did you come?"she asked as She set the tray down on a table next to the bed.

"A while ago."he replied as he again took sat on stool.

"Today you become late! Why?"she asked as she took an injection from the tray and a small bottle of medicine.

"Actually an important meeting came up suddenly.Thats why."he answered while watching her doing her duty.

"I did already assume that.Otherwise ,As far I  know,you  never get late or miss to come here."She said as she started filling the injection with medicine.

"Be careful.Make sure she doesn't get hurt."Abhinav said with concern in his voice.

"Don't worry.She will not get hurt."Mrs.braganza assured him.

"Yeah,I know that.I am just ....."he said, passing her a nervous smile.

He held her hand and closed his eyes when Mrs.Braganza injected the medicine into her arm.

"Now,you can open your eyes.I am done."Mrs.Braganza said to Abhinav who was still closing his eyes.

Abhinav opened his eyes and smiled,sighing in relief.

"You are not gonna change .It's been 4 years I am injecting her everyday .And every time you hold her hand and close your eyes out of fear as if I am injecting you ."she said , smilingly.

Abhinav smiled a faint smile and stared at Amaira as he spoke"Actually She used to be scared of needles and injections.And She used to say that when I stay by her side and hold her hand,it gives her strength.She don't feel the pain .Thats why ,I do it everytime"

"She can't feel the pain now.Infact she can't feel anything.You know this very well, don't you?"She stated, looking up at his face.

"Maybe, she can't feel the pain now. But it's not true that she can't feel anything .Because I know that  she can feel one thing for sure and that is me.I firmly believe that She can feel me,she can hear me."He said confidently while gently caressing her hair.

"Sometime I feel amazed looking at his love and confidence.How can someone love one's so much!"Mrs.Braganza whispered to herself while admiring Abhinav who is looking at Amaira with so much love in his eyes.

"My child ,You have to go out now.I have to change her cloth."she said after a moment.

"Ooh!Okay."He mumbled and placed Amaira's hand on bed which he was holding till then and stood.

"Meanwhile I'll go and meet the doctor then."He told her where she nodded.

He walked towards the door and opened it.But before stepping out of the room,he turned around and glanced at his love one long moment.His eyes were filled with so much love for her.

And then left the room .

"Why God? Why are you testing this boy so much?"she said looking up at nowhere while touching the cross of her necklace which was she wearing around her neck.

"He love her so much.Please cure this girl for him.Please get her well .Please God!"She prayed and then looked down at Amaira who is laying on bed like lifeless.
