Chapter 100: Old Wounds

The room was spacious, despite the hospital equipment there, it was a pretty and bright one. Dominant with white and blue sky color, and expensive furniture, one could tell it was the special VVIP room.

The bipping sound was loud since no other sound could be heard. It didn't bother Alexander at all. He even wished the sound would never stop.

He looked down at the bandage on the back of his hand. It was at least to keep the needle marks there sterile but not to ease the pain, because he didn't feel it at all.

He clenched his fists, trying to feel the pain right to the wound on his shoulder, but it was like he was numb. The pain was there but his body used to ignore it.
