Daniel twitched his mouth upward as he tried to remember what he planned on talking about when he arrived at his parents’ side

It was time he took charge of his life and he was overly ready for it.

When the red light popped up from the traffic sign, he pressed the brake of the car and looked around gently.

A lot of things have changed since he married Sapphire and amongst them was the way he drives. He was a rough driver and Sapphire hated that. She would refuse that he drove and insisted on the driver driving instead and because of that, he had to learn how to drive again.

As he glanced at the countdown on the traffic light, he exhaled and then turned to pick up his phone that rang.

“Sir!”

His brows pulled together as he heard the evidently panicked voice.

“What is wrong?”

“Madam… your wife… she got in an accident!”

Daniel felt his throat dry up immediately and his lips trembled at the news.
