Chapter 2 :Goodbye

*Next Morning *

"Beeb Beeb" oh god I hate that sound of my alarm. I look at it. it's 9:30

I made my morning routine. I wash my face, brush my teeth and because I'm bored so I'm going to take a quick shower, I head to the bathroom. After I stripped out of my clothes. I stand under the hot water relaxing my muscles. After I finished I wrapped a towel around my body.

while I'm brushing my long brown hair, I hear my phone making that ding sound which means that I have received a message. I grape my phone and open the massage.

Em: Hey, meet us at Starbucks Xx

it is EMILY she wants to meet me in Starbucks. Oh God, I'm going to have a heart attack. How do I tell her that I'm leaving,

Hello and then Goodbye. I don't really want to lose her. we have been friends for ten years. God, please help me, after I'm done with my hair. I wear a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and white vans.

I go downstairs and found a paper. She won't be at home today. I ride my car and head to Starbucks. I arrived in 10 minutes. I parked my car, then I go inside to Emily, jade, and Eli.

Eli asked me on a date last month. I can't deny that he is very attractive and handsome and I might have a crush on him. But I said no because he's a playboy. so I didn't give him a chance but he is still my friend

"Hi bitch" of course that's Emily she said while pulling me into a hug. "Hi Em. hi guys," they both greet me back saying "Hi, Ana" then Emily give me my coffee. While Emily is chatting with jade. Eli and I start a conversation. well, after I said no to him I don't know how but there's no tension between us, and everything is normal. There's nothing awkward between us and I'm so thankful for that "How you doing? I haven't seen you in a while " good and probably you are not going to see me again "I'm good -" Emily cuts me off saying "Guys let's go to Amelia's party tonight. She broke up with Steven it's going to be fun, Guess what?" we all gave her our attention "He's going to be there I heard that one of her friends invited him to the party. I really want to go there they were so in love" she said with a sad smile on her face she is really one of their fans. she can write books about their love story, and Jade agrees with her. but for me and Eli. we always knew that they are fake all they were doing was kissing in the hallway and maybe fucking each other in one of the empty classrooms. it always seems like it was fake.

jade agrees with her " yeah, it's gonna be fun. Are you guys coming? " Eli looked at me like he was waiting for my answer "Are you going ?" he asked me " well, um...no" I answered him "why?" Emily asked me with a frown on her face confused by my answer, "guys, I'm leaving next Thursday" I said in a very tiny voice like a whisper "what?" Emily and Eli shouted together like they were practiced.

"where? why? and when- " Jade asked "well, where? to New York, why? my mum's job, when? next Thursday." which is after four days. Emily moves from her chair and hugs me while saying

"I'm going to miss you bitch " I chuckled " I'm going to miss you too" then I break the hug to look at the boys "Are you guys won't come to visit me?" I said with a pout.

jade chuckled at my childish "of course Ana we will " he said with a smile on his face. I look at Eli but he looks so furious "Eli" I said his name softly. He stands up leaves without a word. I go after him but he was already gone "fuck" I go back inside and say bye to Emily and jade. I go back home doing my daily routine watching Netflix all day and eating ice cream but suddenly the doorbell rings. my mum is not coming home, so who is here? I think I need to open the door if I want to figure that out I stand up "ouch" I groaned in pain because I have been sitting for too long that my legs hurt. I go to open the door to find a very handsome Eli at my door "Hi, Ana can I come in ?" yeah, of course, you can come in and I will go out if you want. shit, I have been starring for too long "yeah, come in" he comes inside, and I close the door. we both go and sit on the couch "so you are leaving" he starts again" yeah I'm leaving," I said looking at the floor. "I can't make anything to change your mind?" I look at him "This is not my decision to make Eli" I said with an exhausted sigh "Okay, but this is my decision to make Ana" he takes my face in his hand and kisses me.

Fuck his lips are so soft against mine. it feels like heaven. I should stop him, shout at him my mind is screaming telling me to stop him, but my heart says no just live the moment. we pull away to breathe. we are looking into each other eyes "I'm not going to see you again. right?"

I couldn't let the words come out of my mouth I just nod and then he kisses me again passionately. After a few minutes, he breaks the kiss "Please don't leave. I have liked you since that day I saw you at that party with jade and Emily, you really ruined my night that day with your innocence, your smile everything in you. that day you made me a mess I wanted you in my life. If you just said yes when I asked you out, everything would be different now I would become the person that would make you change your mind and stay for, or at least you would have reason to stay. I can't have you now. Right ?" he is looking at me with hope in his eyes, that would say yes but what we both know now that " it's too late now Eli" he kisses me again I felt all of his feelings in this kiss, I think it's for the last time. he pulls away from the kiss, both of us stand up without any other words. I walk him to the door, he stops walking and turns around he kisses my forehead and hugs me so tight, he mumbled something in a very low voice that hardly heard it. I love you.

He steps away and says "I think this is goodbye" and with that, he left, it really breaks my heart. but It's not the time for regretting it's the time for moving on.
