Chapter Five

Frank hurried to work the next day, he couldn't wait to see Victoria and maybe snatch another moment of esctacy again. He got to the parking lot and came out of his car. He sighted a dark Bugatti La Voiture Noire, the most expensive car in the world packed in the garage... He saw a super tall handsome man come down from the car, and open the other car door for a sexy lady dressed to kill to come out.

"Victoria! An astonished Frank exclaimed with shock and rubbed his eyes. The guy took Victoria's right hand and kissed it before placing a kiss on her lips. They smiled and headed towards the entrance of the company's building.

Frank rubbed his eyes again and pinched himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming. He rushed after them but couldn't find them any more. He kicked the air and cursed which made other workers passing by to look wierdly at him. He comported himself and went to his office and started wondering what the handsome guy with Victoria was doing inside the company's building.

He tried to bury everything running in his head and concentrate on work but he couldn't. He started pacing about in his office. He decided to go see Victoria in her office but on a second thought he shrugged the thought off.

"You don't deserve to feel this way, his conscience accused. "You rejected her, Remember?" You fell out of love for her and could barely touch or sleep on the same bed with her, she irritated you," His conscience reminded and made remember some of his cruel acts towards Victoria. "Honey!" Victoria called and caressed Frank, who in turn didn't respond.

"Honey!" She called again and tried to kiss him but got pushed away by frank.

"What do you want from me? Frank asked feeling irritated.

"Please honey, i only need you and nothing more," Victoria said with longing in her eyes.

"And you think it would happen, which man in his right sense would wanna have any intimacy with an Amoeba like you, talk more of sex... "Please leave me alone."Frank said feeling irritated.

"But you haven't touched me for months now, I need you, please" Victoria begged.

"Not me, because you can't get me. "Go find a way to quench and drain your desire. "I'm not interested in digging into any disgusting hole of an amoeba." Frank said plainly.

"Please stop being hostile, it isn't my fault that I'm like this." Victoria replied feeling hurt. "I have started going to the gym and I'm also on a diet. "I'm working on myself, please stop with this attitude you are hurting me." Victoria pleaded with her eyes getting wet.

"Whatever! Please don't get close to me, maintain your distance." Frank warned strictly.

"Frank please, i keep begging you every night, i have showered three times now and I'm still ready to shower again but please just touch me please," Victoria pleaded feeling more hurt.

"Never Victoria!" i don't go back on my words. "Remember?" Frank reminded.

"Please Frank, it's your duty as my husband. "You can't keep depriving me of my right in this marriage, please frank even if it's just this once. "I'm not going to disturb you any longer," Victoria pleaded and crawled towards frank with tears.

"Get off me you bitch! Frank thundered and pushed her off him. She landed on the floor on her butt and felt pain.

"Serves you right, I warned you... "Don't get close to me ever again or you would regret it." Frank stated promptly. "In fact let me just leave the room for you," he added and carried a pillow out of the room to the sitting room. Not caring if Victoria was hurt or not. Victoria started crying, and remained on the floor until she slept off.

"Frank¡" how do I look?" An excited victoria who thinks that her days in the gym has started paying off asked Frank Days later. She bought a new set of Red lingerie that suited her so well. Tonight she had a cool bath and wore lingerie to pose in front of Frank who was reading a novel.

"Hahahaha!" Frank burst into laughter and almost fell off the bed, startling Victoria. She looked around and looked at herself to check if she could find anything funny but she found none, she thought it was the novel actually that amused him. So She shrugged the laughter off and asked Frank again as he has stopped laughing and has concentrated once more on his novel.

"Frank! "Ain't I talking to you? Victoria asked as she didn't hear any response from frank.

"Frank!"

"Oh shut up Victoria, and leave my sight. "There's nothing that would suit you in this life... "You are actually looking like a clown in lingerie, hahahaha he laughed. "Please go remove them and wear the other clothes that covers your rigid body very well." he added.

"Frank!" Victoria called and a tear slid down her eyes.

"Stop shedding those crocodile tears in front of me, you know what I'm talking about... "Please have some self respect and stop parading in front of me. "I would never feel aroused nor have any urge, See!" Frank said and pointed at his manhood which laid flat and not moved.

"You keep hurting me and I don't know why? "You are meant to help me recover... "It was the trauma that I went through months ago that made me like this. "You kept on cheating, not minding if I knew and really saw you, you didn't care and abandoned me for months. "I had to stick to drugs and alcohol to forget all my pain and misery before you finally came back, claiming to have changed because you actually went bankrupt and lost everything." Victoria reminded plainly.

"Are you crazy? Frank thundered and slapped her which pushed her to the floor. "I don't love and want you anymore." "Please if you want this marriage to continue working, avoid me and Stay on your path," Frank said with anger.

"Frank, stop doing this to me, you weren't rotting in jail today because of me. "I have given you everything I have, i made sure I did clear up all your gambling deeds." Victoria reminded.

"I said shut up, Frank thundered and kicked Victoria so hard on her belly, which pushed her to the floor again, and she gasped for air... "It is high time i leave this house for you," Frank said picked up some of his properties and left.

"Frank!" Victoria called struggling to breath as she started bleeding. "Frank, please help me, please," she begged and started crawling after frank, but couldn't make it to the door before she passed out... "She nearly died that day and equally lost her first baby with you," Frank's conscience reminded. "You have to be ashamed of wanting her back now that she has become a better person, and has moved on with her life after forgetting all the hellish memories she had with you.

"I can't help it, Frank confessed and wept. "I wish I could turn back the hands of time. XBut still i shouldn't give up. "I know she still loves me... "I want her back and would fight for it," Frank said.

Victoria sat in her office attending to the files Doreen submitted earlier this morning when she arrived at work. She never missed the surprise look on Frank's face at the garage this morning, she smiled at herself and wondered how the rest of the days of work would be for him now that Derrick is back... Her phone rang and she checked the caller ID. Speaking of Derrick' he is the one calling.

"Hello honey!" Victoria called with a smile on her lips.

"Hi beautiful!" Are you busy? Derrick asked.

"No i'm not ," Victoria replied.

"Can we have lunch together this afternoon?"

"Sure! it would be a pleasure." Victoria replied.

"Mention the restaurant you wanna have lunch,

and your wish is my command."

"Anywhere simple restaurant, Victoria suggested.

"Then we are in, i know of a really simple restaurant I usually do have lunch then when I'm less busy. "They have amazing foods."

"Alright! See you at 12 noon. "Bye!" Victoria said and cut the call... She imagined how she would have been rotting down in six feet if not for Derrick.

She blessed her fate for bringing him into her life, the first day they met can never be forgotten all her life as she recalled.

"What are you doing there?" Someone asked with panic as he saw a young beautiful lady trying to jump off the bridge.

"Please stay away from me," Victoria warned. "She has already climbed the railings of the bridge, she looked so tattered and tired of life."

"Please come down, i'm not going to hurt you, you shouldn't waste your beautiful life like this." Derrick pleaded.

"Who told you that my life is beautiful? "Hahahaha she laughed. "Because you have a beautiful life doesn't mean that everyone does, i'm tired of life and everything... "Life isn't fair to me, so I wanna let it go and give up on it." Victoria stated. "I cannot push further anymore, i have reached my last bus stop, i can't take anything any longer." she added.

"No please, listen to me, we can talk about it. "We can make life become fair, but first of all come down," Derrick pleaded again and started going closer to Victoria.

"No don't come closer to me," Victoria warned and tried to move back, but lost balance and started falling off the bridge. Derrick immediately dived at her and caught her right hand. Victoria thought she was dead but opened her eyes to see someone holding her from falling off the bridge. Derrick dragged off the railings and kept her safely on the ground.

"What were you thinking? He thundered, feeling so enraged.

"Why didn't you let me die?" Victoria asked back with tears. "Maybe all this would stop hurting, most especially my heart.. "I am shattered and wanna have peace, so please leave me alone," Victoria pleaded and made to run towards the railings of the bridge to jump off, but got caught by Derrick who carried her into his car and zoomed off..
