CHAPTER 57: LET HIM GO

"Her dad is a cop." Alexander explains and I nod.

"Which is exactly why I don't need you looking out for me and acting like a father figure. I already have a father and two brothers." She gets off of her chair. "Now since this conversation has become a boring lecture- I will get going."

She walks to Alexander and takes the beer bottle from his hand. "Via-" She cuts him off by downing whatever was left in his beer bottle.

"If you choose to let Justin go please tell him that we are meeting up at Lucas house." She begins to walk out the kitchen and places the empty beer bottle on the kitchen island. "Thank you." She walks out of the kitchen without another word.

After a few seconds we hear the front door open and close. "That girl is going to be the fucking death of me." Alexander begins walking up his staircase.

"Where are you going?" I ask him.

"Going to go tell Justin that he's allowed to go to that car show because I'll be damned if Via goes there without someone I trust."
