CHAPTER 115: FUCKED UP FATES

My brother never left my side when I returned. Elliott was unusually kind to me, and he hid whenever Prescott was around.

When I could take no more, I made Wyatt tell me what had happened. When he did, at last, I broke down. I saw to it that Prescott got what he deserved.

Over time, this family dispute gradually got worse and worse.

Years later, we are no longer children who retaliate against one another by smashing toys in elementary school, picking fights in middle school, or engaging in the pointless high school game of "I can get more girls." We now vent our anger at one another by trying to increase our respective stakes in the family business.
