Hardin grabbed Velia by the arm and dragged her toward a servant's entrance door located in a dark back corner, his face flushed with anger as he saw how exposed his sister was and how men continued to eye her.
"There are things you need to stop doing," Hardin hissed, his voice stern.
"If a man tells you to pick something up for him, ignore him. Do you hear me?" he demanded, his eyes narrowing.
Velia nodded silently, looking down. She was ashamed that her brother was angry with her but she hadn't known what else to do.
"I don't think you should be working here," Hardin added. He scrubbed a hand over his face, his jaw clenched. "You wait for me right here. I'll be back."
He turned to leave, planning to return to the bar, but Venom came down the hall, Blade right behind him. The Alpha disappeared into a door and Hardin immediately followed, his eyes fixed on them.
Hardin tried to follow Venom into the room but Blade threw up a hand to his chest.
"Let me in. I need to talk to him," Hardin said angrily, his fists clenched.
"I don't think he'll want to see you," Reaper said calmly, raising an eyebrow.
"Do you think I care?" Hardin growled, his face twisted with disgust. "I need to set things straight. He can do whatever he wants with me, but not with my sister. I can't accept that."
"You've got some balls on you, I'll give you that," Blade said, shaking his head, and grabbing Hardin by the arm. "Come with me."
Blade dragged Hardin down the hall, away from the door. Hardin's face twisted into a mask of fury.
"I told you I wanted to see him," Hardin shouted, his voice rising. "He has to stop all of this because I can’t stand it. I just can't."
"I don’t think you understand the kind of person you're dealing with here, slave," Blade said, his tone serious. "You think anything will change if you go and challenge him?"
"I don’t care," Hardin scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"I think you should," Blade replied, his gaze hardening. "Because doing that could get both your sister and you into even more trouble."
Hardin remained silent, his expression set in determination.
"If you truly care about your sister and want her to survive in a place like this, you need to lay low," Blade continued, his voice firm. "I mean it. Acting like this won’t help; it will only bring more trouble."
"Why are you telling me all this?" Hardin asked after a pause, looking at Blade in confusion.
"Strangely, I like you," Blade said with a smile. "So think about it. Now, get back to work." He clapped Hardin on the shoulder before turning to leave.
"What about my sister? I don't want her to go back in there."
"Don't worry. Things are breaking up after your little show. The women will take her back to her room. You need to stay away from her for now." Blade gave Hardin a hard, stern look. "Let it go for tonight, man. She's fine."
Hardin took a deep breath, reflecting on Blade’s words. Part of him wanted to run back to get Velia and run as fast as they could but he knew they'd just be picked up and dragged back here. And the outcome might be even worse than whatever revenge this Venom already had planned for them.
"Fine. I'll trust you. For tonight," Hardin agreed.
The shifter nodded. "Good decision. I'm Blade by the way," he added before he turned to go back down the hall.
Hardin made his way back to the bar, which was already empty, the only people there the bartenders cleaning up.
"You should follow me," a man said with a smile. "We're staying in the same room."
Hardin said nothing, his face unreadable, and followed him.
"I admire your courage," the man said. "I wish I had it."
"I’m Cole, by the way," the man introduced himself again, but Hardin still ignored him until they reached the room.
The room was beautiful, with a large bed in the center.
"We’ll be sharing the bed," Cole said. "Hope that’s okay with you."
Hardin muttered, "I don’t care," before lying down on the bed, his face contorted in irritation.
"I guess you don’t like to talk much," Cole said, settling beside him.
"I'm tired. I just want to sleep," Hardin muttered, his thoughts locked on his sister and prayed she really was okay.
The maid had found Velia lingering by the back door where Hardin had left her and convinced her that her brother had been taken off to his own room with another male worker. She had Velia follow her to another room.
"So, what do you think of the room?" she asked as Velia looked around.
"It’s nice," Harmony said, nodding. "Can I change my clothes?"
"Sure," the maid replied with a smile. "Let me give you something to wear. I'm Star, by the way."
"I’m Velia," she said cheerfully. "So, how did you end up here?"
"My dad sold me to Godfather Marco to pay a debt," Star replied, her voice tinged with sadness, her gaze dropping.
"I'm sorry to hear that," Velia responded, her tone calm.
"It’s okay, I’ve gotten past it. It's not so bad here," Star said. "What about you?"
Velia shrugged and bit her lip. "I’m not sure. No one will tell me anything."
Star watched her curiously for a moment before shrugging. "I'm sure we'll find out soon. I think you should rest now. We have an early start tomorrow."
Star handed Harmony one of her dresses. Harmony smiled, took it, changed into it, and then lay on the bed with relief. The events of the day weighed heavily on her. She had witnessed things that seemed like something out of a movie—things that didn’t feel real. Her mind kept replaying those moments until sleep finally took over.
HE NEXT MORNINGDining RoomThe dining hall was as grand as the rest of the place, with soaring ceilings and expansive windows that let in natural light. A long wooden table stretched down the center of the room, surrounded by chairs. The table was always neatly set with plates, glasses, and silverware, ready for the pack members to gather for their daily meals. The walls were decorated with intricate wallpaper, and tall wooden cabinets lined the room, holding fine china and other dining essentials. A large chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a warm, inviting glow.As the pack members settled uncomfortably to eat, a procession of maids emerged from the kitchen with a variety of dishes. Most of the members of the MC would prefer to sprawl out and eat outside or on one of the couches but Godfather Marco insisted they all dine together when they were at the house. All eyes immediately fell on Velia as she carried the dishes given to her, making her cheeks heat."I think you’re the
Velia stretched wearily. She had been working non-stop today, and she wasn't used to it. She had to admit that her brother usually handled the bulk of the work. The thought of him made her sigh. She hadn’t seen him all day, and she missed him."We’re done for now. Let’s rest before the party tonight," Star said beside her.A sigh of relief escaped her before she followed Star to the maid quarters. As they approached, the loud sound of a machine distracted them. Glancing out the window. they saw Venom climbing off his bike, his face flushed with anger.Velia gasped and quickly looked away, fear creeping in. Stomping across the lawn, Venom shoved open the door and strode decisively toward her. His eyes pinned her in place. "Follow me," he growled.Velia swallowed hard but didn't dare disobey. She scrambled to follow behind, confused. "What’s wrong?" she asked.Venom didn’t answer, continuing until they reached his room. The door was open, and they entered. Harmony gasped at the vast sp
"You can go in," the guard said, nodding at Hardin. He had been called from the bar by Virus and now stood at the entrance, observing the scene. Virus had his tongue down a girl's throat, but he quickly dismissed her when he noticed Hardin."What am I here for?" Hardin asked coldly, his eyes narrowing.Virus smirked. "Why don’t you take a seat first?" He gestured to a chair. Hardin sat, his eyes scanning the room."I had to beg Venom a million times before he finally agreed to let me have you," Virus said, his smile widening. "But the decision is yours, of course. I can't force you if you're not interested."Hardin raised an eyebrow. "Have me? Why do you want me?"Virus leaned forward, eyes gleaming. "I like your vibe, Hardin. I think you'd be very useful to me."Hardin scoffed. "What if I don’t want to do it?"Virus shrugged. "That's up to you. But think about it. Working here means you can protect your sister. You can even get her out of here."Hardin’s expression softened slightly
Startled, Velia's eyes flew open, her body trembling. "I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... please don't be mad," she begged, her voice shaky.Venom’s expression remained unreadable, but a trace of amusement laced his voice. "What are you doing in my bed?"Velia’s face flushed with embarrassment as she stammered, "I-I wasn’t tired... but you didn’t come... it wasn’t intentional..."His gaze moved up and down her body before he spoke again, his voice cold and controlled. "Don't let it happen again. Leave."Velia hastily obeyed, her heart racing as she approached the door. Just as she was about to exit, Venom’s voice called out."Stop."She turned back, her eyes wide with fear. "Y-yes?"His expression was still unreadable, but there was a hint of curiosity in his voice. And, Lupetta, don’t poison it."Fear
Moonlight Desires, a popular club frequented by MC from all the packs, was alive with activity. The loud noises from the building testified to the wild revelry that unfolded there every night. Two sleek black SUVs pulled up in front of the club, and a guard quickly stepped forward, opening the door. A polished leather boot touched the ground, followed by a tall, handsome man in his early thirties. He exuded an air of authority, his expression unreadable, and a blunt dangled casually from his lips. Surrounded by loyal men, he moved toward the entrance without uttering a word. The rest of his men stayed stationed at the vehicle, heads on a swivel, watching the street for any enemies. The bouncer at the door nodded with respect and held the entrance open, but the man didn’t so much as glance in his direction as he stepped inside, flanked by his two closest men. His name was Xavier DeSantos—better known as "Venom." As Alpha of the pack and President of the notorious MC, The Reapers,Venom
"One punch, one kick, and—victory!" Velia cheered, her voice brimming with excitement. Fingers flying across her controller, she was engrossed in her video game as she munched on a piece of chicken. Her eyes were glued to the screen, her face lit up with pure joy. Suddenly, a familiar sound broke her focus. She pulled off her headphones and checked her phone. It was a call from her brother, Hardin. Smiling, she answered. "Hello, brother," she greeted, her voice muffled by the food in her mouth. "What are you eating?" Hardin asked, his tone calm and amused. "Chicken," she replied, still chewing. He chuckled softly. "Don't rush yourself. Listen, I'll be home late tonight. There's an important guest at the club. Make sure you lock the door before you go to sleep, okay?" "Of course," Velia said sweetly. Hardin was always so caring, constantly looking out for her. He practically smothered her with attention, which was probably why she didn’t have many friends. She was homeschooled at
"Velia!" a voice called from outside. Velia stirred awake, blinking groggily as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She had fallen asleep on the floor with her head on the bed, after staying up all night to watch over the stranger. She had moved him to her bed when he had woken up during the night asking for water, afraid of her brother's reaction."Velia, are you still sleeping?" her brother called again, his voice laced with concern. Quickly, she stood up and rushed to the door, a worried look crossing her face. She stepped outside, carefully shutting the door behind her to keep him from seeing inside. "Good morning, brother!" she greeted with a bright smile, masking her fatigue. "Are you okay? You look stressed," her brother asked, his brows furrowing as he studied her face. "Did you sleep well?" "I'm fine, brother," she replied nervously, fidgeting with her hands. "There's nothing to worry about." "You were already asleep when I got home last night," he said, softening his ton
Pedro sat in his office, a laptop open on the desk and a pack of weed pressed to his lips. He was waiting for his men, eager to hear their feedback, but they hadn’t arrived yet. Everything was recorded—proof of his latest triumph. He couldn’t wait to show the other mafia leaders, especially Godfather Marco, how easily he had taken down their supposed "backbone."A guard called him, interrupting his thoughts. Pedro quickly stepped out of his office to find the pack members gathered outside, staring at the bodies of the twenty men he had sent to the mission laid out in a row. Each of them bore gunshot wounds."He killed them all," the guard said grimly. Another guard set up a laptop and played a video. The footage showed an explosion, followed by a chaotic pursuit. Pedro watched as his men were gunned down systematically one by one. But before that, he saw the target take multiple close range shots to the chest and back."He can't have survived that," Pedro sneered. "No one could." Hi

The Regional Reaper's clubhouse was a lively, vibrant venue that pulsed with energy every night. Located in a secluded part of the clan’s territory, the building was designed to offer a private, exclusive space where members could unwind and have fun. And thanks to Godfather Marco's high end tastes, it was much different than any other MC clubhouse in the EU. Lavishly decorated, the club featured plush couches, glittering chandeliers, and state-of-the-art sound systems. The walls were adorned with vibrant artwork and neon lights, creating a futuristic and edgy atmosphere. Each night, the club was transformed into a new theme, from glamorous masquerade balls to neon-lit raves. Clan members would dress up accordingly, showcasing their creativity and flair. Upon entering, the loud thumping of music and flashing lights from the dance floor greeted you immediately. Venom entered his room, his footsteps deliberate. As he approached his bed, a sense of unease prickled at his senses, the hair at the back of his neck standing at attention. He paused, his sharp eyes scanning the room. Nothing seemed out of place, but his wolf told him otherwise. And he always trusted his wolf.He took one more step when a shadow emerged with a gun trained in his direction. "You’re dead, asshole," the stranger said coldly. But Venom only smirked. He moved with preternatural swiftness, grabbing the intruder’s hand and twisting it with precision. He pulled his bone crunching strength at the last moment. The man let out a pained screech. "Ahhhh! Let me go! You win!" the intruder winced. Venom released him but kept a watchful eye. The man turned around, rubbing his wrist. "Can’t you let me win just once?" he joked with a lopsided grin. "Not a chance. Train harder instead," Venom replied curtly before cracking a rare smile. The tension broke as the two men shared a br
And he ran. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, tears blurring his vision as the sounds of chaos faded behind him. When young Xavier returned to his home hours later, all that remained was ash. The house was gone, consumed by flames, along with the bodies of his family. The authorities called it an accident. The town believed them. But Xavier knew the truth. He had seen it with his own two eyes. And he had the proof on his phone. Sent to an orphanage, Xavier replayed the video every night, tears soaking his pillow. He didn’t recognize most of the perpetrators, but one face was seared into his memory: Dr. Antonio Argento. Determined to seek justice, Venom resolved to show the police the evidence, but... "Boss, we’re here," Blade's voice interrupted his thoughts. The cycles had all stopped, and Venom climbed off his bike, his fury simmering just below the surface. "Hello? Hey!" Velia called after him. She had jumped off the bike she had been placed on and was struggling to
“Welcome home, Hard!” Velia exclaimed, throwing her arms around her brother in a tight hug. True to his word, he had returned early. This was an event that almost never happened. She was so excited“Look what I got for you,” Hardin said, holding out a neatly wrapped present. Velia’s eyes lit up as she tore it open, gasping with delight at the matching purple sneakers inside. “These are exactly the ones I wanted! Thank you so much, brother!” she beamed, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck and hugging him again. “Go back to your game,” Hardin said with a smile. “I’ll whip something up for lunch.” As he turned to the kitchen, his eyes caught a black card on her desk. His smile faded, replaced by a look of alarm. “Where did you get this?” he asked sharply, picking up the card. “A, um, friend came to me,” Velia explained innocently. “He was wounded, so I treated him.” Hardin’s heart raced as he saw the initials ‘XD’ engraved on the card. His stomach sank. “This is bad,” he murmu
