"You can go in," the guard said, nodding at Hardin. He had been called from the bar by Virus and now stood at the entrance, observing the scene. Virus had his tongue down a girl's throat, but he quickly dismissed her when he noticed Hardin.
"What am I here for?" Hardin asked coldly, his eyes narrowing.
Virus smirked. "Why don’t you take a seat first?" He gestured to a chair. Hardin sat, his eyes scanning the room.
"I had to beg Venom a million times before he finally agreed to let me have you," Virus said, his smile widening. "But the decision is yours, of course. I can't force you if you're not interested."
Hardin raised an eyebrow. "Have me? Why do you want me?"
Virus leaned forward, eyes gleaming. "I like your vibe, Hardin. I think you'd be very useful to me."
Hardin scoffed. "What if I don’t want to do it?"
Virus shrugged. "That's up to you. But think about it. Working here means you can protect your sister. You can even get her out of here."
Hardin’s expression softened slightly at the mention of his sister. "What about my sister?" he asked, his voice quieter.
Virus smiled reassuringly. "You can trust me to look out for her. Nothing will happen to her. Take your time, think about it, and let me know when you’re ready."
Hardin nodded, his mind racing with the possibilities. Virus patted his shoulder and stood up, moving with fluid confidence.
"I wouldn't wait too long, though," Virus added, his eyes glinting with a hint of warning before he turned and left the room.
Hardin remained, his thoughts swirling as the weight of the decision loomed over him.
The Next Day
The head maid stopped Velia in the kitchen. "Follow me," she said, her expression firm.
Velia followed her to the maid dressing room, wondering what was going on. The room was filled with various maid uniforms, and the woman picked out a beautiful blue one. "Put this on," she instructed.
Velia was confused. "What’s happening?" she asked, furrowing her brow.
"You’re no longer working in the kitchen or the club," the woman explained. "Now, you belong to Alpha Venom, and you’ll only work at his place, doing whatever he asks."
Velia’s eyes widened in surprise. "Really?" she asked, her voice trembling.
The woman nodded. "Yes. So, hurry and change. You need to join the other maids working there."
Feeling a bit dazed, Velia nodded and put on the new uniform, a mix of emotions swirling within her. She was led to Venom's room, where she met two other maids. She looked around, but the Alpha wasn’t there.
Meanwhile, other pack members were discussing Velia’s new role.
"I guess the rumors are true. Poor girl," Hacker said, pouting sadly.
"I think this is better for her," Ghost said sympathetically. "At least she’s protected from all the hungry perverts."
"But Venom is so scary," Stalker pouted, her eyes wide with concern.
Blade smiled reassuringly. "Don’t worry, she’ll be okay."
Hacker turned to Butcher, who remained silent as usual. "Don't you ever speak?" he asked, his tone playful.
Butcher scoffed. "What am I supposed to say?" he replied, his expression uninterested.
Snake was seething with anger, unable to believe the news. "That bitch," she muttered through clenched teeth, her eyes flashing with fury. Venom had never been interested in slaves—still remembered when Godfather Marco brought a slave for him, only for him to flatly reject it, saying he wasn’t interested. So why was he suddenly interested now?
“That witch must have bewitched him,” she thought angrily.
Stalker shifted the topic. "We should focus on today’s mission. It’s going to be tough."
Blade grinned. "The tougher, the better."
Ghost added, "No one should die."
Snake scoffed and glared at Ghost, her anger palpable.
Velia met the other maids in front of Venom’s door. They entered together, their faces expressionless. They didn’t talk unless necessary, but they informed her that they cleaned both in the morning and evening, as the Alpha disliked dirt.
As they entered the room, Velia immediately sensed that Venom was there. She could smell his scent, faint but distinct. Feel his presence. He emerged from the en suite, dressed in his usual low-slung jeans and tight black t-shirt. The maids bowed respectfully, their eyes cast down. Velia could feel his gaze on her, making her heart race. She refused to look up, too afraid to meet his eyes.
"You should leave…except for her," Venom said, his voice firm, pointing to Velia. The two other maids scurried away immediately, leaving her alone with him.
Velia stared at the floor, unable to look at him. She was terrified of what he might say or do. Terrified of the feelings that swirled within her.
"You’re going to clean this room, top to bottom—only you," Venom said coldly. "Don’t leave until I return." With that, he turned and left the room, leaving Velia alone.
Her eyes widened. She had to clean the huge room by herself. She knew it would be exhausting and stressful, but she started immediately, not wanting to upset him.
Meanwhile, in the parking lot, Virus, Stalker, Ghost, Snake, Butcher, Blade, and a few other gang members were waiting for Venom’s arrival. They were ready for the mission Marco had ordered of them.
"Are you all ready?" Venom arrived, his eyes scanning the group.
"Not without me," Hardin interrupted, appearing in the parking lot. The members looked at him in surprise, their faces unreadable.
"I’m in," Hardin said to Virus, who's lips turned up in a grin. Blade clapped him on the shoulder in welcome. Stalker smiled, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
"You will communicate with Hacker through these," Venom continued, handing out headsets to the group. "Please listen to everything he says." He entered a car immediately and waited for the others.
"Hey, guys, you hear me?" Hacker's voice crackled through the mouthpiece, sounding playful. They all chuckled, except for Snake and Butcher, whose faces remained serious.
"You can still stay back if you want," Virus said to Hardin, his brow furrowed with concern. "I don’t think you’ve trained enough for this dangerous mission."
"Just worry about yourself?" Hardin shot back, his tone slightly sarcastic. He slid into the car, his movements fluid.
Butcher chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. Venom scowled.
The group piled into the cars with swift and synchronized movements. Blade took the wheel of the first car and Virus and Venom climbed in, their faces set like stone. The others piled into the remaining cars, their faces serious. They left the clubhouse grounds, their tires screeching as they sped into the night.
Twenty minutes later, they arrived in front of a large mansion, noting the heavy presence of guards patrolling the area, moving with a captive in their hands. They parked a little distance away and proceeded on foot.
“You have to listen to my instructions, let me move quickly,” Hacker said through the earpiece, and they all nodded.
“There are dozens of guards outside. Be careful,” Hacker warned.
The team attacked the guards suddenly, the loud sound of gunfire filling the air as they fought. Butcher showed off his brutal combat skills, dispatching enemies with ease. Hardin was performing far better than anyone expected. Soon, all the guards were down, and they advanced into the mansion, easily defeating another fifty guards inside. Following Hacker's guidance, they moved toward the vault.
"Alright, guys, I’ve got eyes on the vault," Hacker said, his voice steady. "There are 50 guards patrolling the area. I’ll take care of the security cameras and alarms. Virus, Venom, Stalker, Butcher, Hardin, Snake, Ghost, and Blade, you’re clear to move in."
The team nodded, their expressions determined. They moved swiftly and silently, weapons ready.
“I’m hacking into the security system now,” Hacker said, fingers flying across his keyboard. "Cameras and alarms are down. Cracking the vault combination... Got it!”
The team moved in perfect sync, their weapons firing with precision. Virus took out the guards on the left with his sniper rifle, while Venom handled the right side with his gun. The others followed suit, eliminating threats quickly and efficiently.
“The vault’s open,” Hacker said, and they all rushed inside.
“You’re too good, boy,” Ghost teased, rolling his eyes while sucking on his lollipop.
They began packing the money, which was far more than expected.
“We’ve got the money!” Virus exclaimed.
“Let’s get out of here!” Hacker said firmly. “We’ve got what we came for!”
As they exited the mansion, they encountered part of Pedro's pack, led by his twins, Rica and Rico. Rica’s beauty was striking, while Rico was undeniably handsome.
“You think you can steal from us and get away with it?” Rica sneered, her eyes blazing with fury.
“Yeah, you’ll pay for this,” Rico added coldly.
“Get out of my way,” Venom said in his usual emotionless tone.
“Ah, you must be the famous Venom,” Rica smirked. “Let’s see what you’ve got.”
“Bring it,” Rico said, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
The fight erupted as Venom and Rico exchanged a flurry of punches and kicks. Rico was skilled, but Venom’s expertise outmatched him.
Meanwhile, Virus faced Rica with a smirk, taunting her as he easily dodged her attacks. "You’re slow," he teased.
Rica's face flushed with anger, and her eyes flashed. "Shut up!" she shouted, launching a fierce counterattack.
The rest of the team joined in, with Hardin showcasing his impressive combat abilities. He swiftly took down multiple syndicate members, his movements fast and precise.
He even saved Ghost and Virus from a few close calls, his reflexes lightning-fast. "Thanks, Hardin," Ghost said gratefully. Virus gave him a little pat on the back for recognizing Hardin's worth.
As more syndicate members fell, Rico ordered a retreat. They shifted and vanished into the night.
"Let them go," Venom instructed and the team watched them disappear.
The team got into their car, money in hand, and sped off. Venom remained silent, but the others were ecstatic.
“Thanks, Hardin,” Ghost said. “I owe you one.”
“No problem,” Hardin replied calmly. “That’s what teammates are for.” Ghost blushed at his words.
Back at the Clubhouse
Velia finished cleaning the room, exhausted from the effort. Despite her fatigue, she couldn’t leave, as Venom had instructed her to stay. Her eyes fell on his bed, and it looked so inviting that she couldn’t stop staring at it.
Feeling overwhelmed, she decided to take a brief rest on the bed, planning to get up and leave shortly. But as soon as she lay down, her eyelids grew heavy, and her body relaxed, succumbing to the comfort of the soft mattress. Before she knew it, she was fast asleep.
A few minutes later, the pack returned to the clubhouse, where Godfather Marco greeted them with a satisfied grin. He wrapped Venom and Virus in a bear hug. "Well done, boys! I knew you could do it."
Blade then led Hardin to his new room, which was huge and beautifully furnished. Hardin was amazed to learn that he would have this luxurious room to himself. As he lay on the bed, he couldn’t help but think about his sister, whom he hadn’t seen in a while. He hoped his new status would help hers as well.
Meanwhile, Venom entered his room, exhausted from the day’s events. He went straight to the shower without turning on the lights in his room, desperate to get the sweat and blood off himself. Upon returning to his room, he was surprised to find the light shining from his bathroom highlighting Velia peacefully sleeping on his bed. Something in him didn’t want to disturb her, so instead he dressed and sat beside the bed, his gaze intense as he watched her.
A few moments later, Velia began to stir, stretching lazily as she woke up. She groaned softly and sat up, confused. Just then, she heard a cold, seductive voice say, “Finally awake, Lupetta?” Her eyes snapped open, startled by the piercing gaze of Venom fixed on her.
Startled, Velia's eyes flew open, her body trembling. "I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... please don't be mad," she begged, her voice shaky.Venom’s expression remained unreadable, but a trace of amusement laced his voice. "What are you doing in my bed?"Velia’s face flushed with embarrassment as she stammered, "I-I wasn’t tired... but you didn’t come... it wasn’t intentional..."His gaze moved up and down her body before he spoke again, his voice cold and controlled. "Don't let it happen again. Leave."Velia hastily obeyed, her heart racing as she approached the door. Just as she was about to exit, Venom’s voice called out."Stop."She turned back, her eyes wide with fear. "Y-yes?"His expression was still unreadable, but there was a hint of curiosity in his voice. "I’m hungry. Can you cook?"Relief and nervousness flickered across Venom’s face. "Y-yes. W-what do you want me to cook?"His gaze seemed to pierce her soul. "Something light and quick. And, Lupetta, don’t poison it."Fear
Moonlight Desires, a popular club frequented by MC from all the packs, was alive with activity. The loud noises from the building testified to the wild revelry that unfolded there every night. Two sleek black SUVs pulled up in front of the club, and a guard quickly stepped forward, opening the door. A polished leather boot touched the ground, followed by a tall, handsome man in his early thirties. He exuded an air of authority, his expression unreadable, and a blunt dangled casually from his lips. Surrounded by loyal men, he moved toward the entrance without uttering a word. The rest of his men stayed stationed at the vehicle, heads on a swivel, watching the street for any enemies. The bouncer at the door nodded with respect and held the entrance open, but the man didn’t so much as glance in his direction as he stepped inside, flanked by his two closest men. His name was Xavier DeSantos—better known as "Venom." As Alpha of the pack and President of the notorious MC, The Reapers,Venom
"One punch, one kick, and—victory!" Velia cheered, her voice brimming with excitement. Fingers flying across her controller, she was engrossed in her video game as she munched on a piece of chicken. Her eyes were glued to the screen, her face lit up with pure joy. Suddenly, a familiar sound broke her focus. She pulled off her headphones and checked her phone. It was a call from her brother, Hardin. Smiling, she answered. "Hello, brother," she greeted, her voice muffled by the food in her mouth. "What are you eating?" Hardin asked, his tone calm and amused. "Chicken," she replied, still chewing. He chuckled softly. "Don't rush yourself. Listen, I'll be home late tonight. There's an important guest at the club. Make sure you lock the door before you go to sleep, okay?" "Of course," Velia said sweetly. Hardin was always so caring, constantly looking out for her. He practically smothered her with attention, which was probably why she didn’t have many friends. She was homeschooled at
"Velia!" a voice called from outside. Velia stirred awake, blinking groggily as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She had fallen asleep on the floor with her head on the bed, after staying up all night to watch over the stranger. She had moved him to her bed when he had woken up during the night asking for water, afraid of her brother's reaction."Velia, are you still sleeping?" her brother called again, his voice laced with concern. Quickly, she stood up and rushed to the door, a worried look crossing her face. She stepped outside, carefully shutting the door behind her to keep him from seeing inside. "Good morning, brother!" she greeted with a bright smile, masking her fatigue. "Are you okay? You look stressed," her brother asked, his brows furrowing as he studied her face. "Did you sleep well?" "I'm fine, brother," she replied nervously, fidgeting with her hands. "There's nothing to worry about." "You were already asleep when I got home last night," he said, softening his ton
Pedro sat in his office, a laptop open on the desk and a pack of weed pressed to his lips. He was waiting for his men, eager to hear their feedback, but they hadn’t arrived yet. Everything was recorded—proof of his latest triumph. He couldn’t wait to show the other mafia leaders, especially Godfather Marco, how easily he had taken down their supposed "backbone."A guard called him, interrupting his thoughts. Pedro quickly stepped out of his office to find the pack members gathered outside, staring at the bodies of the twenty men he had sent to the mission laid out in a row. Each of them bore gunshot wounds."He killed them all," the guard said grimly. Another guard set up a laptop and played a video. The footage showed an explosion, followed by a chaotic pursuit. Pedro watched as his men were gunned down systematically one by one. But before that, he saw the target take multiple close range shots to the chest and back."He can't have survived that," Pedro sneered. "No one could." Hi
“Welcome home, Hard!” Velia exclaimed, throwing her arms around her brother in a tight hug. True to his word, he had returned early. This was an event that almost never happened. She was so excited“Look what I got for you,” Hardin said, holding out a neatly wrapped present. Velia’s eyes lit up as she tore it open, gasping with delight at the matching purple sneakers inside. “These are exactly the ones I wanted! Thank you so much, brother!” she beamed, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck and hugging him again. “Go back to your game,” Hardin said with a smile. “I’ll whip something up for lunch.” As he turned to the kitchen, his eyes caught a black card on her desk. His smile faded, replaced by a look of alarm. “Where did you get this?” he asked sharply, picking up the card. “A, um, friend came to me,” Velia explained innocently. “He was wounded, so I treated him.” Hardin’s heart raced as he saw the initials ‘XD’ engraved on the card. And he ran. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, tears blurring his vision as the sounds of chaos faded behind him. When young Xavier returned to his home hours later, all that remained was ash. The house was gone, consumed by flames, along with the bodies of his family. The authorities called it an accident. Sent to an orphanage, Xavier replayed the video every night, tears soaking his pillow. He didn’t recognize most of the perpetrators, but one face was seared into his memory: Dr. Antonio Argento. Venom entered his room, his footsteps deliberate. As he approached his bed, a sense of unease prickled at his senses, the hair at the back of his neck standing at attention. And he always trusted his wolf.He took one more step when a shadow emerged with a gun trained in his direction. "You’re dead, asshole," the stranger said coldly. But Venom only smirked. He moved with preternatural swiftness, grabbing the intruder’s hand and twisting it with precision. He pulled his bone crunching strength at the last moment. The man let out a pained screech. "Ahhhh! Let me go! You win!" the intruder winced. Venom released him but kept a watchful eye. The man turned around, rubbing his wrist. "Can’t you let me win just once?" he joked with a lopsided grin. Velia stretched wearily. She had been working non-stop today, and she wasn't used to it. She had to admit that her brother usually handled the bulk of the work. The thought of him made her sigh. She hadn’t seen him all day, and she missed him."We’re done for now. Let’s rest before the party tonight," Star said beside her.A sigh of relief escaped her before she followed Star to the maid quarters. As they approached, the loud sound of a machine distracted them. Glancing out the window. they saw Venom climbing off his bike, his face flushed with anger.Velia gasped and quickly looked away, fear creeping in. Stomping across the lawn, Venom shoved open the door and strode decisively toward her. His eyes pinned her in place. "Follow me," he growled.Velia swallowed hard but didn't dare disobey. She scrambled to follow behind, confused. "What’s wrong?" she asked.Venom didn’t answer, continuing until they reached his room. The door was open, and they entered. Harmony gasped at the vast sp
HE NEXT MORNINGDining RoomThe dining hall was as grand as the rest of the place, with soaring ceilings and expansive windows that let in natural light. A long wooden table stretched down the center of the room, surrounded by chairs. The table was always neatly set with plates, glasses, and silverware, ready for the pack members to gather for their daily meals. The walls were decorated with intricate wallpaper, and tall wooden cabinets lined the room, holding fine china and other dining essentials. A large chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a warm, inviting glow.As the pack members settled uncomfortably to eat, a procession of maids emerged from the kitchen with a variety of dishes. Most of the members of the MC would prefer to sprawl out and eat outside or on one of the couches but Godfather Marco insisted they all dine together when they were at the house. All eyes immediately fell on Velia as she carried the dishes given to her, making her cheeks heat."I think you’re the
Hardin grabbed Velia by the arm and dragged her toward a servant's entrance door located in a dark back corner, his face flushed with anger as he saw how exposed his sister was and how men continued to eye her."There are things you need to stop doing," Hardin hissed, his voice stern."If a man tells you to pick something up for him, ignore him. Do you hear me?" he demanded, his eyes narrowing.Velia nodded silently, looking down. She was ashamed that her brother was angry with her but she hadn't known what else to do."I don't think you should be working here," Hardin added. He scrubbed a hand over his face, his jaw clenched. "You wait for me right here. I'll be back."He turned to leave, planning to return to the bar, but Venom came down the hall, Blade right behind him. The Alpha disappeared into a door and Hardin immediately followed, his eyes fixed on them.Hardin tried to follow Venom into the room but Blade threw up a hand to his chest. "Let me in.
