" What's wrong?" Deric looked over his laptop, his desk was stationed right next to mine. Usually the lack of privacy while working bothered me, because Deric was still on my neck to sign those papers that would seal the fate of my biological family, but that was only because he wanted us to return to Italy, he must miss his girlfriend and family very much. I felt bad about keeping him away from them, but it was his descision to come with me, and he could go back alone if he wished.

" I still can't believe she left "

Deric groans and turns his attention back to his work. " Put yourself in her shoes Ashton. He's her husband, so turning him down would appear rather strange "

" But she's mine!" I hated how whinny I sounded. It was like a child who had lost his toy and wasn't happy about it. " She knows that, for fuck sake, we've fucking had sex in the same company that bitch owned! She's aware how I feel about her, so why does she need to stick to the bastard!"
