"I'm fine. I enjoy talking to my mom every day," Ember said softly.

Caleb smiled helplessly. He patted her shoulder and said gently, "You'll have plenty of time to talk. Don't push yourself too hard."

Ember responded to Caleb's words occasionally in his arms and fell asleep.

Upon noticing Ember's sleeping face, Caleb placed her on the bed.

He slowly lowered his head, kissed Ember's forehead gently, and turned off the lights.

Ember did not sleep well that night.

In her dream, she drove to the hospital to visit Mia as usual. She sat beside her bed and chatted with her.

Mia was getting better. She sat on the bed and talked to Ember.

Suddenly, they were surrounded by turbulent seawater.

Ember was panicked and quickly ran toward Mia to save her.

But she could not get closer to Mia no matter how hard she ran.

She became anxious and shouted in fear, "Mom!"
