Chapter 312

Avery grasped Ember's hand tightly and refused to let go.

"Mommy, where are you going? I'll get Daddy to go with you."

Ember refused. "There's no time. Tell Daddy to follow the black car in the basement."

Ember was worried and too panicky to think wisely.

He exclaimed immediately, "Mommy, did someone call you just now? Can you show me the number? They must be lying because Jamie is in the operating room downstairs."

"Avery, did you say you found Jamie?"
