Chapter 308

Caleb walked into the seaside hut hurriedly when he heard Jamie's voice. His body trembled fiercely the whole time. The man who had always been cool and had great restraint over his own emotions, was on the verge of tears.

He walked in large strides, undid Jamie's bonds, and carried her in his arms.

His large palm rested on her shoulder, softly patting it, and his voice was soft.

"Don’t cry. Daddy is here, I'll take you home now."

Jamie's emotions collapsed to the extreme at this point, releasing all of her pent-up feelings from the previous few days as well as her fear for today.
