Jamie nodded vigorously with a sweet smile on her face.

"Yes, I had fun."

Ember felt comforted looking at the smile on Jamie’s face.

Ember stroked Jamie’s head and asked tentatively, "Jamie, do you hate Uncle Caleb?"

When Jamie heard the question, she blinked and looked up at Ember blankly.

"Did Uncle Caleb bully you?" Ember asked teasingly. "Jamie, you can tell me so I can help you teach him a lesson and make sure that he won’t dare to bully you again."

Jamie peeked at Caleb before she quickly looked away and shook her head.

Her sweet voice was pleasant to the ears. "No, I don’t hate Uncle Caleb. It’s just that he is unfriendly. Uncle Caleb was mean to Uncle Lugh last time."
