Chapter 154

When Lugh heard Ember's response, his heart was filled with joy.

Once the duo came home, Lugh didn't want to trouble Ember with dinner, so he recommended stew as dinner instead.

Ember felt quite embarrassed. Lugh had done so much for her, yet her only reward was dinner. She was at her wits' end.

Lugh did not accompany Ember to the school after dinner. Instead, he went to Caleb's company in hopes of having a proper talk with him.

In the president's office, a cigarette was trapped between Caleb's fingers as he slowly spat out a mouthful of smoke rings. A displeased expression took over his face.

He heard a sound, followed by Lugh strolling in at this very time.

The latter grinned, his scorching gaze falling on Caleb's form. "Mr. Lane, Ember doesn't love you anymore, so stop pestering her. I hope I can make it clear to you today."

"Lugh, I've told you that as long as I don't divorce her, she can only be mine!" Caleb spat out with a bitter chuckle.
