Chapter 66: Claiming Sovereignty

Everyone in the auditorium clapped their hands and applauded enthusiastically as the dance came to a close.

Drake maintained a firm grip on Miren's hand and pulled her close to his side while murmuring something to her.

"Miren, the way you move your body during your dances gets my heart racing."

Miren was completely oblivious to his whisper because she was too focused on looking at Dylan. Miren was left wondering what their relationship was all about and why Dylan focused his attention on Rose. The two of them seemed to have an odd rapport with one another. The closeness and comfort that they emanated made Miren's limbs tremble.
