Chapter 49: Plan to prevent the return

The dreary rain began to fall just as the fierce battle began. There were vampires and monsters with strange shapes among the piles of dead bodies that had been left behind. The air was thick with the stench of blood, and thick black streams of blood filled the ground, turning it into a sticky liquid. The ground no longer had its original color, every tiny patch of land was chaotically traversed by human footprints.

The land is desolate, with trees falling all over; the animals had long since fled the scene of the bloody war, leaving only Dylan's army and the repulsive-looking monsters as the only other living things.

The sound of thunder and lightning echoed through the atmosphere, and lightning flashed violently through the night. The rain continued to fall, getting heavier, more persistent, and more powerful; the rain showed no sign of stopping, and neither did the fighting that was taking place below, which did not stop at any point.
