"Yo~you sure that...this is the cave?"
"Well, that's what it's shown on the map."
"Isn't it abnormally huge?"
".....Sadly, I can't disagree with you here…"
Tolas and Alan are staring at the dark cave with their mouths wide open. There are only twenty people in their group including Tolas, Alan and Ario. Although they were confident while they set for the Dead Island which is hidden in the end of the Nowhere Sea, they have become scaredy-cats. If the cave is this big, then how big Drayar vampires are!
The nowhere sea is the sea which is at the end of the world, facing hell. It has a huge gate that can't be unlocked unless some spoiled blood is offered
Uriel is standing alone behind his mansion. It's pitch black night of the day and nothing can be seen other than a half moon resting on the sky. Not a single star is shining above the head of the old mansion. Watching his clock repeatedly, he's showing his impatience over the face. He's tapping his feet and looking around while clicking his tongue. Uriel is facing back when a huge black shadow comes out of the nearby forest. That unknown thing is approaching slowly as if it's injured badly. It's feet seem to be crumpled. Suddenly the sound of a dry branch breaking hits Uriel's ears. He turns back to see the source of that sound to find a known face popping out before him."Sorry, Lord Uriel. I'm late.""You should say that you're really late, Gokon." Says Uriel in an angry tone.
"Why is she unconscious in her dreams?" A purple haired middle aged woman speaks out among the six persons who have circled around Erin's body. But the place seems unusual. Her body is placed on an altar decorated with so many red roses. And she's sleeping like the princess from the story "Sleeping Beauty". It's as if she won't wake up unless her prince doesn't kiss her to break the spell."HMPH! I still can't believe that the prophecy was speaking of a GIRL!" the blonde haired man exclaims his dissatisfaction openly which angers everyone present there. The blue haired man and a sky blue haired man, who were right beside him, hit his head hard, which forces the blonde haired guy to cry out."Why are you hitting me?" He asks.
"This tyrant vampire! He said this medicine will work...SHIT!" Holding a small glass bottle that's bearing a hex red coloured medicine, Kevin keeps grumbling. The medicine hasn't kicked the way he has wished for. After he was handed over to Edward by Ian, he was in a pathetic shape. His conduct with the Count Lord was a fascinating story for them which was totally opposite for him. Although Edward looked bewildered after hearing it, he didn't say a word. Rather than sympathizing with Kevin, he shouted at him for his foolishness for killing the Count Lord's vessel. Not that it bothered Kevin a bit!Due to lack of blood, Kevin was weakening day by day. Not to mention, his tolerance for the sunlight was getting low which also meant that he wouldn't be able to go out in future if the tolerance bar hit the ground!
"It's been three days that she's laying like a dead person. When is she gonna wake up?" "......…" Ian dashes to Edward and grabs him by the collar. But he doesn’t react at all. Instead, he just looks away from Ian's glaring eyes. The eyes which are trying to shoot him don't belong to Ian only. Even Julius and Serena are angry at him. They're refusing to have any conversation with him. The people of Morelles clan are questioning his judgement. Although Edward doesn't have any fault directly, he indirectly vouched for Megan by not stopping her craziness. Since he's her ex-fiance, Edward is being showered with great praises that he can barely stand in the room. Ian has been shaking him relentlessly when Edward is lost in his puzzled thoughts. But then to everyone's
Raphael is working on some documents of the case of missing vampires. Recently, so many vampires of his territory have gone missing during the last fall and there are still new missing cases coming to his desk. Sorting out the old ones is already getting heavy on him. He even deployed both of his sons in search of them. However, there’s no progress! The pleading cries of the members of the missing people’s families are unbearable. Almost every clan is facing the same situation. Vampires are vanishing into thin air. There's no trace of a single one. The other clan lords are going crazy about it. Despite stating the issue to Count Lord Rowan, he isn't taking proper measures. The other clan lords are growing tired of it. Even Rowan's own son Zion has expressed disappointment in his father. However, that doesn't solve the issue. So everyone is getting restless.
"Hey, Ario! I'm getting out. See you later. Oh! And call me if you need something." "Where are you going?" Alan looks back to see if the person showing his care is really Ario or somebody else. He finds Ario reading the newspaper calmly while his legs are crossed, unwavering at the thought of Alan going out. Purposely looking around to grab Ario's attention, Alan says, "I wonder if I'm going crazy. There are weird sounds around me." "Stop joking!" Ario sneers at Alan who is laughing by the door. Others in the room have also joined in this fun which is making Ario irritated. However, he cools his head and politely says, "If you’re about to meet Edward, then I must inform you that uncle Julius and aunt Serena aren’t home now."
"Here we are!""This old mansion?! You're kidding, right?""Not at all."It's unbelievable to Tina that her renowned and rich boss is staying in an ancient house which seems to be burnt. It appears that the building will fall apart if an earthquake suddenly hits. Even if he's a villain, he should have some standards. That's what Tina has thought at first but then it's not that unreasonable for someone to be hiding in here."I can't say for sure if he'll be welcoming or not. It's up to his mood." Kevin warns Tina while getting down from the car.Tina isn't concentrating though. Her attention is grabbed by the spooky surroundings of the mansion. T
" You could've told her the truth rather than hiding it from her. If so, she could easily cope with her vampire life by now.""I didn't have any other choice. I was threatened."" By whom?""The previous Count Lord…""That's ridiculous! He would never do that!" Serena strongly refuses to believe Venessa's claims. She has already determined that the fault lies within her. But her anger subsides as soon as Julius agrees with Venessa."...After thinking carefully, her accusations aren't that wrong." He says."What do you mean?" Serena politely asks which surprises others. It seems she changes h
Dracula Castle, Romania. A few days later after ending the war…The lords have gathered to discuss an important issue and that is “Who will be the next Count Lord?” Erin isn’t interested in it at all. She’s just happy to see Edward and others are fine. Even Ian has recovered from his injuries. So there’s no need to be getting involved furthermore after hearing the hateful words that are thrown at her. Moreover, some people don’t wish her to become their master. Erin glares at Raphael who can barely hold his grin. Uriel, the culprit behind this ruckus, is sitting beside him and grumbling about being chained. His punishment will be decided today. However, it doesn’t seem like he will be receiving the death penalty, thanks to certain someone. It doesn’t matter to Erin. Although she agrees with the fact that Uriel is the reason behind the war, she can’t shake off the feeling that her very existence is also a threat to the whole community. That’s why she has made up her mind! "My decis
-Howard’s dead! Do you realise what it means? He’s no longer with us! Will you take responsibility for him?... This! THIS WASN’T OUR FIGHT, TO BEGIN WITH! Why do we have to suffer? A man shouts in anger before he bursts into crying. Obviously, he’s frustrated as much as he’s sad about losing someone important to him. He wishes to keep complaining, but his words are getting stuck in his throat. Some comforting voices float around the air and make their way to Erin’s ears. She doesn’t know for how long she has been sleeping, but it feels like ages now that her muscles are sore. Although she can barely open her eyes, she tries to find out the owner of that angry voice. However, she fails repeatedly and gives up in the end. -Bill is right! We’re dragged into this mess when we aren’t supposed to be involved. A girl’s voice! It’s familiar and yet distant all of a sudden. Not long ago, this person was the one who stood up for Erin! Then…why is it sounding strange to her? After all, what’s
"Le..let me..GO!""Fufufu! How does it feel to get crushed on? Is it amusing?" Rowan, who is now possessed by Orus, gets closer to Erin's face which has turned red since she can't breathe. While trying her best to escape from his grip, Erin has no choice but to listen to his nonsense.Surprisingly, Rowan stops talking all of a sudden and keeps observing her before saying, "So weak! Can't think of a reason why you were chosen to bear the 'Dragon's fate'. So pitiful for someone who upholds both the power of God and the Devil. Tch!" "What's this stupid demon talking about?" Erin isn’t insane to wonder about such lousy conversation while her lifeline is about to get cut. She keeps thinking of a way to get out but finds none. Only the crazy laughter of Rowan rings in her ears as he exclaims in joy, "I'm feeling so good right now!" His grip becomes tighter than before as he sniffs Erin's neck in a swoop. "Delish!" "I sa...id...Fuck Off!" "SHHH!!!! Tch! Ahh...my ears! Can't you scream a
"Do you think they can handle it?" "You worry a lot, old man. Relax! Master can finish the enemy with one blow!" "If it was that easy, I wouldn't have worried about it." "Sheesh! It's hard to ensure you. Well, we'll see that for later. For now, I've to take you to a safe place. Otherwise, the master will kill me!" Bill runs faster towards the heart of the forest. Soon the battle ground vanishes from Julius's eyes as he looks back to monitor the situation and yet the sound of clashing swords isn't disappearing. As if the whole world is bearing witness to today's incident. Julius couldn't help it when he was forced to leave Edward's side. Rowan inflicted a heavy injury on him which almost caused him to faint due to loss of blood. The terror in Edward's eyes is unforgettable! Even his men were terrorized. Rowan was extremely powerful as if the news of him being sick was nothing but a nonsense spouted as a joke. His physical strength was surpassing the whole clan. It was nothing li
"This is getting out of hand!""We should lure them towards the open field. The training ground is narrow enough to make moving hard for us.""But what to do about this rapid fire?!" Ario shouts in irritation. He can barely block the bullets with a thin shield and yet he's trying his best. The two other men are also struggling. Erin can't blame them when she isn’t even in shape to fight anymore. Rather, she says, "I've got an idea. Let's split! One party will distract them while the other makes a run for the field."After a small pause, Ario replies with a soft nod, "Sounds great to me. I'll help you to climb.""No, wait!" Erin disrupts Ario who is about to pick her up and suggests, pointing at the two men, "Let them move before us."The two men seem bewildered. However, there's no time to spare in argument. They both agree immediately and make a long jump for the roof while Ario and Erin are backing them up. The enemies are trying to corner them more than before. Due to the lack of
"Lan! Is there any way where I can kill Orus without harming him?" "Not that it's impossible, but you’re not capable of pulling that off yet." "Meaning?" "Simple! Without the help of Mandira, you can't do it." Erin recalls her time when she was stuck in that endless world. Among those seven dragons, Mandira was the one who didn’t have any kind of supernatural power that could be seen and yet her power surpassed others. She's a dragon who uses her powers through tarot cards. It may seem funny but she has the ability to see the opposite side of her cards and pull out a suitable one. Her dragon powers are installed in those cards, so she can make wishes come true by using them. Erin had the opportunity to witness her power. Unlike Orus or other people who can manipulate someone with the help of words or other means, Mandira is unable to do that. When she learnt that her powers didn’t have any physical form, she tried the tarot cards as an easy means. Her mother was a gypsy and she u
“Whoa, what’s that?” “Is that Lord Uriel? Why’s he flying?!” “Don’t tell me! After Master Rowan, now another legend?” “Unlike the master, his wings are so black and shiny. Just like a bat. Isn’t that gorgeous?” “Yeah! But, doesn’t he look kind of different than usual? Is he the one who just broke the underground dungeon where that woman is kept?” “You bet!” “What could he be doing there?” “Don’t know, but…Something doesn’t feel right.” The castle guards are fussing
"My lord, you should leave now. There's a hidden door behind the second staircase which will lead you to the secret dungeon." Oliver whispers to Edward while fighting nearby. He further assures, "We'll be watching your back. So, hurry!" Edward grins at him. Taking his last line as a joke, he says, "Rather watching my back, you should hold your men at first. You look like you’re struggling quite a bit here to need my men's support." Oliver can't believe Edward acting arrogantly when someone's life's in jeopardy. He remembers a saying, "Arrogance and ignorance go hand in hand" and it truly applies to him. Unfortunately, he can't say it to his face! Composing himself, Oliver politely replies to Edward, "My lord, you’re right. I'm unworthy and that's why I need some time to strengthen the bond between me and my men. Would you kindly
“Where did I keep it?”“Hurry up, Oliver!!”“Can’t you shut your mouth for a while?”“TCH!”Keeping the door slightly open, Ario gets out of the room to guard it. Thankfully, everyone is busy discussing the rare vampire that they don’t have the time in hand to look after the castle. The rummaging sound through the papers is irritating Ario, but he can’t make a sound while Oliver is busy looking for the documents. They’re from Willow who is known as Uriel’s informer. Or maybe was! He’s missing since Oliver left the castle, not even a trace of his dead body! It’s surpris
