Chapter 3

CHAPTER 3

Howard walking suspiciously as he walking while he keeps looking back to make sure that nobody following him.

“ What your ass are doing out here?, ” Howard asked as soon as she arrived at his destiny place. He looking at the man that are currently cutting the fire woods.  

“ Don’t ever underestimated people who is looking old. Who might know that if he’s the one that will beat your ass down, ” the old man said without looking at Howard while he still doing the activity that he’s currently doing. 

“ Damn harsh, ” Howard chuckles then he patting the old man shoulder. 

“ Well, the old man still remain strong, ” the old man said it proudly.

“ The sky will falling down eventually, so do you, ” Howard raise one of his eyebrows.

“ Are you challenging me?, ” the old man stop cutting the fire woods and look at Howard deeply. 

“ Oh come one. I just said that and you assume me challenge you, ” Howard squatting while looking at the old man with a smirk on his face.

“ Are you scared already?, ” the old man make a smirk face too as he challenge Howard back.

“ I never said, ” Howard shaking his head while exhales heavily.

“ Sure then let’s fight, ” the old man ready to facing Howard.

Howard also ready to attack the old man. His arrogant face make the old man feel more challenge. 

As they about to attack each other, they laughing so hard until their tears are falling out. They looking into each other eyes.

“ I’m always expected to seeing you again especially at this time when the moment is already coming, ” the old man sighing heavily.

“ Harley, I know that you already figured it out but I’m afraid that Elyna is not ready yet, ” Howard really worried about Elyna. If she not ready yet, he scared that she might not survive. The time is getting more close.

“ She must and she will. She just had no idea what’s happening and that scared the hell out of her. You must tell her everything so that she can prepare for what’s coming, ” Harley said it in serious tone because the things that is coming not something that they can easily handle. 

Howard exhales heavily. 

“ Oh my God Howard! I thought I will see you when all the leaf are falling down, ” Evan that are come out of nowhere takes Howard as soon as he saw him then he touch Howard hair on purpose.

“ That’s full of meaning huh?, ” Howard slap Evan hand from touching his hairs. 

Evan chuckles while naughtily wink at Howard. Howard just make an annoying face as he disgusting with the wink that Evan gave to him. 

“ Old boy come to play hmm?, ” Evan patting Howard shoulder with a smile on his face.

“ Yeah want to play with some shit that’s coming on our way, ” Howard sighing heavily. 

“ Let’s take a sit, ” Harley invite Howard into his house. It’s better to talk about this inside than outside. Who knows there might be someone who is eavesdrop them. Even the tree can hear them.

They walking together into Harley house. 

“ I’m back, ” Adryan said lazily. He’s really not in mood after what happened at the school earlier.

Adryan look at Howard curiously as he never seen Howard in his entire life. Who’s he?

Howard just smile at Adryan. Is he that boy?

“ Who is he?, “ Adryan asked straight to Harley as he really can’t help his curiousity. It’s been a long time since they have a guest come to their house. At least, there is no people who really know where they live. They keep it secret for some reason that he himself did not know why. 

“ This is Howard. My old friend, ” Harley introduced Howard to Adryan as he did not want Adryan find it suspicious. 

“ You never mention him, ” Adryan said it while he sit beside Evan. Harley always told his a story about his friends and him but as he remember Harley never mentioned name Howard. 

“ Did I? I forgot maybe, ” Harley try to cover up. He can’t told Adryan so early. He has to wait until the right time. Because Howard story might be complicated a bit as Adryan did not know what he is yet.

“ Really?, ” Adryan asked did not believe of what Harley said. 

“ Yes, ” Harley shaking his head confidently. 

Adryan just silently look at Harley suspiciously but still just nodding understand. He just feeling not in the mood to find out the secret or whatever they hide from him. Elyna already a problem to him. 

“ I’m going upstairs first, ” Adryan said then he stood up and walking upstairs without waiting for their reply.

They just looking at Adryan going upstairs first before they continue their conversation. 

“ How fast time going? He’s already growing up, ” Howard said with an impressive face. 

“ I know right? When he came to me 10 years later, he just a little kid with an innocent face. But know he always cold as he is, ” Harley exhales heavily. His memory of Adryan first came to him is play in his eyes once again. 

“ Did he know how his mother died?, ” Howard asked whispering to be careful if Adryan might hear that. 

“ No but he’s clearly can’t forgot about that tragedy. He once told me that he will find the killer, ” Harley sounds so worried about Adryan. 

“ Well, the killer will find him anyway. I’m afraid if he does but I believe Adryan can handle that, ” Howard really believe in Adryan and he will give fully support for him. 

“ His birth date not long from now, ” Evan said to remind them that on that day they will have to being there together to facing Adryan. Also helping him. 

“ I will be there, ” Howard said it with serious face.

Elyna walking with a scare feeling as she realized there is someone following her. She keeps turning her head back while she walking to make sure that no one or someone weirdo is following her. 

“ Am I hallucinating this time?, ” Elyna said as she see a woman walking towards her then when she look at other side and look back at the woman direction, the woman disappear. There is no one there.

“ Oh come on. The visions then this. What am I some of daydreaming huh?, ” Elyna groaning while pitching her forehead softly. 

Suddenly, her head feels hurt so bad. Her eyes seems blurry as she feel like want to faint. Too bad. She’s falling down on the ground and her eyes completely close. 

[ Elyna faint ]

Elyna open her eyes slowly. She feels glare as she open her eyes with the bright light point towards her face.

“ Oh you awake, ” Adryan said as soon as he walking into his living room and see Elyna eyes is wide open.

“ You, ” Elyna grunts angrily. 

“ You got a problem with someone who just saved you from being dead, ” Adryan said calmly then he take a sip of his coffee.

“ Oh what now I’m supposed to thank you?, ” Elyna asked it annoyingly. 

“ A warming thank you would be, ” Adryan make a proud face on purpose to make Elyna more annoyed. 

“ You wish, ” Elyna stood up from the couch and want to walking out of the house. 

“ Where are you going?, ” Harley who just happen out from the kitchen and see Elyna want to go asked her.

Elyna turning back at the direction of voice. She looking at Harley awkwardly and force her smile. 

“ Errr, ” Elyna lost her words as she feeling nervous. 

“ Why don’t you drink first before you’re going home?, ” Harley asked Elyna politely while he show the tray that fill with cup of tea on his hand.

Elyna just shaking her head as she does not know what to response. Want to refuse? Maybe it will seem rude, so just accept it.

Elyna walking back into the living room alongside with Harley. Adryan just sit on the couch with his cold expression face. 

“ Why you come back?, ” Adryan asked Elyna with no reaction while his eyes focus on the television screen that playing some sort of show. 

Elyna exhaled heavily to keep her patience so that it doesn’t explode extremely especially she in people house right now. Unfortunately, it is Adryan house which make her so much annoying.

“ Adryan…, ” Harley takes Adryan while staring with some kind of warning looking. Show some respects to the guest. 

Adryan groans annoyingly. 

Elyna smirk at Adryan. Happy to see he got mad by Harley.

Adryan sighs heavily. Like a kid huh. 

“ Elyna… ”

Elyna heard the voice again. No not again. 

“ Elyna… ”
