" So, who's the reborn of Cybele among them?" Farkas asked.
Rhysher placed first an arrow before replying, " I don't know yet," he said releasing it to the target board.
Farkas cheered seeing he'd made a bullseye.
" Still good huh!" he commented.
" Of course!"
" But not that good in eyeing the goddess huh?" Farkas said.
Rhysher lowered his bow and glared at him.
" Uh...just kidding!" Farkas chuckled.
" Anyway...are you sure you will identify her? Isn't the prophecy said..."
" The prophecy is just a prophecy," he butted in, interrupting what Farkas was supposed to say.
" Nothing can come between us. Not even Valhalla. Not even destiny!" Rhysher said with all conviction.
There was a pause.
Farkas stared at his friend.
If not for him, he would have settled in Valhalla instead of pretending to be a beta wolf in this human world.
" Yeah...I am confident in you, but the question is, who among the elemental wolves is a friend, a lover, or an enemy? You know you should see them well," he said.
He's right anyway.
Perhaps the greatest tragedy is not existing at all. And that was supposed to happen at the goddess Cybele, a kind of natural course in Valhalla once a deity tried to stop another deity from being punished. And so he did all with all his powers to reverse what's natural, just to let her exist even if it would take her to be reborn. That's okay. He doesn't want her to just...fade and not exist at all.
But now this is the cost of all that happens in Valhalla.
She's difficult to identify.
Even if she was reborn, still she was, and they are surrounded by uncertainties.
To add, that time when he touches what's not to be touched in the energy plane, his elemental powers had exploded, unintentionally scattering among these human wolves, who in the latter, acknowledge by a prophecy that among them is the goddess in her rebirth form.
But which among these elemental wolves is his beloved?
And who's among them is a friend and an enemy?
He could not tell yet, for this time they were all kind to him perhaps scared because of his ruthless reputation.
Meanwhile in the Eber Isles
Just when everyone is taught to be a warrior in the entire Scandanavia, here in Eber Isles, it's not easy to gain a sword, for the water priestess had prohibited it.
" Tame yourself first so you could tame your weapons!"
That's what she always says.
And no elder could argue with that for she was correct after all. Here on this island, their goal was to raise wolves like that of a gentle thunder.
" We are not just savage animals who would devour without a reason...nor we are just Vikings who were born to conquer with swords. We are more than that...like me...you are water. You could be gentle, and you could be deadly when needed,"
Rain would always say those words whenever there was a group of wolves who would wield weapons for the first time. She would usually smile every after she utter those words, for those were what the Rhysher had actually told him.
She knows that she was looking for his beloved, and how she wishes it could be her. She knows the entire story and all the struggles that he went through, yet until now even if the Lycan God had met all the guardians, still the Bride is none to figure out. Because of that, she would even wonder if it was really her, or not, or if he really like her or was just fascinated by his charm. Who would not be charmed by him anyway?
He had Viking gold hair. He had sea rover blue eyes. He is manly, with a warrior god physique.
She was before a damsel in distress and she had been her hero.
She had become what she is now, gentle and dangerous, water in a real sense, because of what he had done to her.
But more than that, his desperate love for his beloved is what thrilled her most. His bride is a very lucky girl, whoever among them is she.
Meanwhile in Oxidore
" Your mother didn't send you here just to lose! Every creature of the night know that Rhysher the Lycan is searching for a bride to marry! That should be you!" Balthar was yelling at his daughter.
Astrid frowned.
She's not even interested in him why do his parents pushing her toward that guy?
" What's that face huh?" his father scowled.
" I am here to hunt, to have a good time, and not to be anyone's bride!" she scowled back.
" You know what's at stake! You know what your mother had bet on this!" Balthar began to yell.
Astrid glared at his father and snapped her finger. Stuff in the room began to fly as if being wrecked by a wind.
" Stop it!!!" Balthar screamed.
Astrid pulled off, " okay," she muttered with a grimace.
" Then...let me hunt, okay?" she said and walked away leaving his father gritting his teeth.
Ofedin is a kingdom, a village of clay huts. A village without walls. A village set in a valley in between mountains of basalt rocks. And this time to be without walls means to be unprotected. Any invaders, nearby packs could just intrude on their houses, good thing because of her fire element, they were able to create fear amidst all kingdoms, and their fear has become their security.
Akash, was known as the fiery wolf that she would burn into ashes whoever would dare step into their land. She was the one responsible for the fiery footprints that surrounded their land's boundary, wherein, it was said that whoever would touch those footprints of hers would melt in the fire.
" Shaman!"
A Beta wolf came rushing to her. She was panting for his breath.
" What is it?" she asked.
" The Lycan land has been wrecked by an earthquake!"
Akash raised an eyebrow, " earthquake? the land of the Lycan Blood? who dared touch it?" she exclaimed.
Wait. No one will have enough courage to do that unless...yeah...unless it's someone like one of us! Could it be the earth guardian? She thinks.
" How's the King then?" she asked.
" No one knows. He hurriedly leaves after the incident,"
" Where is he going?"
" No one knows,"
Silence.
Akash sighed.
Is he going to the earth guardian? Has he found her? No..he might take back all the elements once he finds all of us! And that is something that can't happen. This fire was our only means of survival. Akash thought to herself.

Long straight jet black hair is Rain of the Eber Isles. She has a pretty vulnerable face, thick full lips, and green expressive eyes. At the first meeting, she could be easily assumed as the kind of girl who's always needing a hero. " Are ready?" her grandmother asked She looked at Rain for a while and fix the veil on her head. Today, at age sixteen she was chosen as the sacrificial priestess, which means she'll be in charge of the ceremony later after the dinner feast. " You're beautiful," he gran smiled. She was pleased. This time, Eber Isles is celebrating a festival as they used to do every at the very first glimpse of a full moon. The wolves in the isles are mostly fishermen. It is usually difficult for them to sail during the full moon because fishes are naturally hiding during this time. Fishes like to feed in the dark. And when the full moon is out, there is too much light for a specific to come to the top. Thus, they celebrate this feast as a way of gratitude to the moo

A FlashbackHooves hit the ground. Her eyes were watery because of the wind that was crushing on her face. The horse was running as if it is certain where it should go. She holds the reins tighter as she goes fast-paced towards the woods deep. She ready her knife in anticipation that she might be caught off." Yaaahhh!!!" Astrid uttered one more loud cry. Now, she's being chased by some bad guys, and she's heading toward an unknown forest. It started when her scent attracted the attention of some men who were also tavern guests. And so, she's sure these men chasing her are vampires as they were the only ones in this world who could smell their wolf scent." "Have you gotten my message? " yelled a voice from behind him.A woman emerged from the shadows and glided beautifully towards Odin in a regal and unhurried manner. Odin jerked, then turned. She wore a simple garment of pleated linen that was gracefully draped around her body and bejeweled with strings of pearls. The dress was fastened to her shoulders with gold clasps, and as she moved her arms, the numerous rings and bangles she was wearing made a lovely clinking sound. The setting star hung directly behind her, its golden light cutting a seductive figure through the transparent fabric of her dress, emphasizing her small waist and exuberant breasts and leaving very little to the imagination are the hips. " Priestess!" Rain's beta arrived in a hurry. Gamir was sweating in his furry tunic looking like he had just come from chaos. Recently, Rain ordered her ever-loyal beta to spy on Ofedin, to know the fire wolf's weakness especially. Now he has arrived. "What is it?" " Priestess, Ofedin is expecting nice weather this season""Nice weather?"" Yes, the entire pack is preparing rituals for the weather god. They're asking for good weather on their harvest day," Gamir informed her. Rain's eyes sparkled. Her lips curved up for a menacing grin. An idea came to her thoughts. It's payback time. Rain thought to herself. " That's not gonna happen," she said to Gamir. Beneath the huge boulder rocks is Rain. This spot here is just enough for her to have a clear view of the entire village of Ofedin. None can sense her presence. No one knows she's at the top watching the pack of the fire wolf. Rain recalls that day, how Akash had an argument with the Rysher. Akash loves her element much tha
Inside the mead hall are long tables lighted dimly with hanging fire lamps. Humans even vampires and werewolves gather in this place. This is the center place outside Scandanavia. No one knows who built this hall. Hersays said this was built by a previous human king for the purpose of commerce, but now, this hall seemed to appear like a tavern. Different creatures of different places go here to have a drink, and most present are the Viking wolves. This is Rain's first time coming here. She wants to unwind. The atmosphere in her pack lately was stressful, again. None is blaming her for the commotion on the sacrifice night, but this time, her abilities are being measured and worst ridiculed. Her pack witnessed how she was no match with Akash - the fire wolf. She's used to being treated by her pack this way. Her pack and the elders in it were always difficult to please. Rain quietly entered the mead hall. This time, she's not in her priestess suit. Instead, she's clothed in algae gree
Why is he upset? Rain asked herself, wondering. Lately, the Lycan King seemed disturbed. He seemed to be fixated on one thing. Ever since that earthquake in the land happened he seemed to be busy. He's always out of the kingdom, searching. What is it? Rain thought to herself. The royal guards greeted her as she entered the throne hall. Her closeness with the Lycan King gives her access to the palace. And also, who would doubt her? Aside from that this Lycan land has been like her second home, she has got that meek aura in which anyone would not doubt she's capable of evil. People would always say she can't even kill a bug, or she can't even defend herself in combat how much more of doing harm? Because of that, she had gained the trust of the people here, in the Lycan King's land. " What brought you here, water wolf?" Rain got a bit awkward. She pauses on her track for a while. Rysher sounds serious today. He was there sitting on a high seat located in the middle of the hall, in f
