Once Holly made it home, she appeared at Valerie’s apartment, informing her that they were all going out for the night, and that she was there to help Valerie get ready. “Nick will be joining us, as well as one of Damien’s other friends, Alan Rogers. They’re meeting us here in about thirty minutes.” As she spoke she moved through the house toward Valerie’s bedroom.

Valerie stood and followed the redhead. “Where are we going?” This was a new twist. They had never asked her to go anywhere with them before, which somehow made Valerie a little nervous, especially with Nick tagging along.

“There’s a small bar in the next town over,” Holly told her as she walked over to the closet and pulled out a flimsy, button-down white shirt and a pair of jeans. “Put these on.” She tossed them onto the bed before walking over to the dresser and rummaging through for a pair of thongs.
