“I appreciate you coming, big sis.” Harlyn dropped back against the wall where her bed was set, her leg lifted up and her arm draped over it, while her other leg haphazardly fell over its edge. “Unfortunately, nothing’s changed since the last time you came.”

“Well, I could stop coming if that’s what you prefer,” I replied.
