CHAPTER 7

THE GIFTED ROYALIST HIGH SCHOOL

The Gifted Royalist high school, is the most popular school in all eight territories where most families bring their kids to learn the ways of their ancestral history and a place for learning how to control their gifts.

Some learned faster than others and thus progressed into higher classes others of course stayed static thereby taking their time and adjusting.

But a certain werewolf named, Theodore Walker is someone who is suppressing his skills deliberately just so he could be in the same class with the girl he loves and has a crush on, she is none other than Emily Hunter of the Black Wolf Pack.

The teachers assembled all of the kids into the yard so they could bond with each other.

So the kids from all eight territories were all left in the yard to either pick a fight or bond with each other.

This was Emily's best time in school because she gets to see Ryan Walker who was the most strongest werewolf in school.

She waited for him just in front of his class for a long time, so that when he comes, she'll offer him a gift she had prepared and was holding on to so tightly. Unfortunately for her Ryan wasn't in class.

She felt sad, she was about leaving when she saw him walking towards her from the teacher's office.

'Wow!! He is so handsome up close, I love you Ryan.' she taught as he approaches her.

Ryan who didn't even notice her was about to enter into his class when Emily stood in front of him smiling.

"Hi Ryan" Emily said smiling widely

Ryan who was already tall looked down at the little girl in front of her and gritted his teeth

'What does this one want now?' He thought

"What do you want?" Ryan asked rudely

"I just want to talk to you, Ryan." Emily said

"Now you have, if you'll excuse me." Ryan said while walking away but Emily stopped him by saying

"Ryan, fine I brought you this..."

"Oh really? What is it about?" Ryan asked feeling irritated

"Just open it and you'll see." Emily said grinning

Ryan collected the box, opened it and saw a card and some cupcakes...

He smirked and opened the letter it says

YOU ARE THE MOST HANDSOME PERSON

THERE IS IN THE ENTIRE SCHOOL, I WISH YOU

COULD LIKE ME AND MAYBE WE'LL BE FRIENDS.

After reading the letter he became furious but kept his cool and then said

"You are Emily aren't you?"

"Yes... yes I am." Emily said stuttering

"Well, Emily I am not interested in being friends with you, no I don't even want to set my eyes on you. So do yourself a favour and get out of my sight." Ryan said

Emily felt hurt by this but she wasn't giving up

"Ryan our family are in a peace treaty that means we know each other and are at peace." She said

"Signing a peace treaty does not mean the kids of the ones who signed it becomes friends with one another, how childish and delusional you are little Hunter... go back to class or go play around somewhere. I don't ever want to see you doing this or playing stunt like this again, else you won't like what would happen." Ryan said and threw the cupcakes at her and pushed her from his way and headed into the class.

Leo who was playing and running around came and saw a gloomy girl in front of the room, he looked at the box she was holding and an inscription 'For Ryan' was boldly written.

He shook his head and went into class.

All the while, Theodore was watching her and he felt sad, here he was crushing on her and offering to be there for her willingly... but she has eyes for another.

'Well I am not giving up on you just yet Emily.' He thought

After standing there for a while gathering, her thoughts, Emily scurried away still holding on to the box of cupcakes.

Theodore ran after her and saw her sobbing on the floor of the staircase, still clinging to the cupcakes like her life depended on it. He walked up to her and took one of the cupcakes and ate it...

It wasn't as delicious as it looks, if Ryan had tasted it he would have fainted.

"You made this didn't you? Its delicious..." Theodore said

"Go away Theodore..." Emily said

"No way, I am not leaving you alone looking like that at all." Theodore said

"..." Emily didn't say a word.

"A beautiful banshee like you shouldn't be crying, look over there, everyone is at the fields either playing games and blending in, you should too." Theodore said

"I don't like you, now leave me alone, just go away don't ever show up in front of me again." Emily yelled

"I wish I could but, I have been invited to your house so you will be seeing me more often my beautiful Emily." Theodore said

"Whoever invited you, go stay with them and leave me alone." Emily said

"Your twin brother Alexander invited me so yeah I'll be coming over very soon." Theodore said

"There is no way Alex would do that." Emily retorted

"Emily just stop this at least be friends with me, please." Theodore said

"No way... now let me be." Emily said

"You will be my friend Emily, one day, thanks for the cupcake." Theodore said and left

"Gosh he is so annoying, I need Ryan." Emily muttered to herself and began sobbing.

On their way home Alexander began scolding his sister in the car.

"Why did you have to humiliate yourself like that today? Everyone was talking about you." He said

"Because I like him that's why and I don't care about what people think." Emily said

"You like that puffed brat? You prefer him to someone like Theodore who ate your lousy cupcake just so he could be friends with you or did you think your cupcake was so delicious?" Alexander asked

"Leave me alone Alex, Theodore is indeed handsome but not as handsome and cute as Ryan." Emily stated

"There are ten most handsome werewolves in the entire school, I included. Now since I am your brother and you can't fall in love with me, then there are 2 boys from Crescent Wolf Pack, one from Venom Pack, he is really good looking, also Leo from Cyprus Pack, Ryan's obnoxious friend. And Maximus from Eclipse Pack and four random guys from the neighbouring packs which are the betas sons so you better get your self together and befriend others, let that spoilt brat go. I don't even want to see you near him, you are a Hunter start behaving like one or I'll tell dad." Alexander said

"Leave me alone Alexander." Emily said

"Too bad you are stuck with me forever, I am your twin or have you forgotten about that crucial fact?" Alexander said to his sister

"Whatever, just leave me alone, don't talk to me till we get home." Emily said and turned her face towards the car's window and rested her head

"Just trying to warn you that's all, the sooner you let go of this silly crush, the better. I don't want to have to baby sit you all night long because you are shedding tears dear twin sister." Alexander said

"Why did you have to invite him over Alexander?" Emily asked

"Why shouldn't I? Besides I have no other friends from school and since he is interested in you, I thought, why not?" Alexander said

Emily rolled her eyes and placed her head on the back of the seat and closed her eyes, she kept thinking about how cute and handsome Ryan looked today.

Theodore walked into his dad's room and said

"Dad I am going out okay?"

"Yeah just take care out there you hear me?" Aaron said

"I will dad." Theodore said and he left home and entered into a car and left for the Black Wolf's territory.

After hours of being on the road his driver finally got to the gate of the Black Moon Pack.

One of the guards asked

"Who are you? And what are you doing here?"

"I have been giving a pass by Alpha Nathaniel's son Alexander, to come visit." Theodore said

"I'll have to confirm, tell me, what's your name?" The guard asked again

"Tell him Theodore...Theodore Walker from Werewolf Royal High school." Theodore replied

Seeing how well he was dressed and hearing the surname ''Walker'' the guard bowed and went to make some inquisition, after which it was affirmed that he was indeed invited.

He came back and said

"Young master Theodore, please come this way."

So the guard led him straight to the Hunter's quarters and he alighted from his car.

He walked in and went inside through the door way and was welcomed.

"Hi dude, you came as promised." Alex said happily as he saw him

"Yeah I did, so tell me, where is Emily?" Theodore asked

"Come on, come sit first, you can't just come all this way and not sit down and then the first thing you do is ask of Emily." Alexander said

"Hm" Theodore said and then sat down quietly waiting for Emily

"You are really something Theodore Walker, you came all this way for a girl with no back ups what makes you so bold?" Alexander asked in awe

"Apparently our packs are in a peace treaty so I doubt I will be in any sort of danger here, and if I was, of course I can take care of myself." Theodore answered

"Brave... anyways Emily is in her room I'll go call her downstairs." Alexander said with his hands on his pockets and Theodore nodded.

Alexander then went upstairs to call on his sister, he had earlier told her to behave.

"Theodore is here sis... you might want to go downstairs and meet him." Alex said

"Huh!! Not this again okay? What if he is here what do you want me to do?" Emily said

"We already talked about this, you better get yourself together and act sensible for once or have you forgotten about what dad asked of us?" Alex said sternly

"Dad told us to be blend in and make friends with the Walker's to gain their trust or something, and I never said I was interested in making friends with the Walker's cousin okay?" Emily said almost yelling

"You will go down and act sensible, if you have some kindness left in you, you will welcome him. He came from a far place." Alexander said

"Why don't you treat him well yourself?" Emily asked

"Emily?" Alex called out getting impatient with his twin

"Fine I will come downstairs." Emily said after sensing how angry her brother was becoming.

"No we are going downstairs together." Alex said

Emily sighed in frustration.

So after much bickering they came downstairs walking hand in hand

"Hi Emily" Theodore said

"Hi" Emily said casually

"Thanks for coming out to see me, I thought you wouldn't."

"Well you came all this way for me, why not?" Emily said calmly she doesn't want to get scolded later so she did her best to try and act natural.

Hearing this Theodore smiled and his eyes lit up.

After they both discussed the trio played games and had fun and since that day, Theodore Walker became a regular visitor of the Hunter's of the Black Wolf Pack.

TWO YEARS LATER

Ryan turned 17 he has started manifesting some changes already, changes befitting of an Alpha it has been a tremendous feeling and change.

"Sophie..." Ryan called her younger sister

"What is it Ryan?" Sophie asked

"Aren't you going to dress up we will be going to the Silver Moon Pack in a while." Ryan announced

"I am very ready I want to go play with Valentina's little pets... I can't wait." Sophie said

"You do love animals don't you?" Ryan said

"Yeah I want my own puppy, but dad won't let me have it. He is allergic to it. So when I get over there, I will play with them all day long." Sophie said enthusiastically

"Yeah yeah, come on let me make your hair for you." Ryan said

"Okay, do it fast you still have to go make mum's hair." Sophie said

"So sit down while I turn your beautiful blonde hair into something pretty for my little cupcake." Ryan said lovingly

Ryan made her hair for her they were preparing to go over to the Silver moon pack because, in two days time it will be Valentina's twelfth (12th) birthday.

Ryan then went to his mum's room and made her hair as well, Madison had taught him how to make all types of braids and he was really good at it.

"That's my boy, this looks perfect." Madison said commending her son

"I am glad it makes you happy mum." Ryan said

"Come on go get your sister, while I help your dad dress up." Madison said

"Okay mum..." Ryan said and left his mother's room

So Ryan as well as his little sister Sophie who was also same age as Valentina were both waiting at the car park for their parents to take them to the Silver Moon Pack, so as to celebrate with the Hudson's.

Soon after Madison and Miles came and entered into their car and immediately they drove towards the Silver Moon Pack.
