Tova looked at his sister and smiled, as he reached the table where breakfast was spread. He hugged her tightly when she came running to him with her youngest in her lap. He pressed a kiss of greeting to her cheek.
“Tova, I have been waiting for you for a long time!” Melanie cried, as she stood there with excitement in his warm embrace. She pulled back to gaze at his face and said, “Brother, you look devilishly handsome!”
He chuckled and tousled her hair. Suddenly he remembered what his parents had told about Borgan. It pained his heart.
“Where did you sleep last night? I went to your room in the morning but didn’t find you there!” she asked.
