Where were all these neonates coming from? I should have had more warriors with us. More were on their way, but they weren't going to get here fast enough.

Bishop was trying to decapitate one of the bloodsuckers just as Athena jumped off Liam's back onto one of their shoulders, removing its senses so Liam could rip its head off.

"Mine," Bishop growled, jealousy seeping out of all orifices ready to take Liam's head off.

Liam shielded Athena with his body.

"Not now, Bishop, focus on keeping us alive."

Our women were too quick and determined. Between Athena removing their senses and Jeanie slitting their throats, my wolves gained the upper hand, and the bloodsuckers started to retreat back into the forest.

"Don't let a single one live. I ordered Liam."

He and four other warriors took off after them.

I knelt down, allowing Athena to climb onto my back. Asher did the same for Jeanie, and we took off toward the pack.
