Diane gasped has he kissed her roughly. He slid his arm around her waist and cupped the back of her neck with his other hand. Unconsciously, she hooked her hands around his neck and tilted her head to deepen the kiss. Nicholas slid his hand to her ass and squeezed it. She gasped at the action, opening her mouth in the process and his tongue thrust into hers, demanding and possessing. She moaned into his mouth. Nicholas traced his hand down her body, lingering at her ass and cupping her breasts a few times. He slipped his hands into the blouse she was wearing and brushed her nipple through the thin and lacy bra she was wearing. He held one of her breasts in his hand and squeezed it roughly.
Diane senses jolted from the action and she suddenly became aware of the action. Her eyes widened as she broke the kiss and frantically pushed him aside. “What the hell?!” she spat out, wiping her mouth and trying really hard to adjust her now dishevelled hair.
Nicholas glanced at her, shocked. “What?”
“What the hell do you think you are doing?!” she whisper-yelled, her hands combing through her hair frantically.
“What?” Nicholas asked, feigning nonchalance. Meanwhile, his heart was pounding loudly in his chest and he could feel the unexplainable ache in his loins.
Diane glared at him. How dare he try to kiss her like that? Not that she didn’t like it but it was so obvious that he was playing her, toying with her emotions like he did some days ago. “Bastard,” she said and shoved him aside. “Get the fuck out of my way,” she said angrily and walked out of the toilet. She halted at the door step and looked back. “Wipe the lipstick off your mouth. You wouldn’t want your girlfriend to know what you were doing would you?” She asked, tauntingly reminding him that Ashley was not far away. She spared him one last glare and walked away.
“Bitch,” Nicholas muttered, wiping his mouth with the back of his palm. But he could not deny that he enjoyed the kiss. Her scent and the taste of her mouth were certainly addictive. He could not help but want more. He wanted more. And he was certainly going to get as much as he wanted till he was tired of it.
-------------------------------------------------------
Diane's hair was wrapped in a messy bun. She was wearing an apron as she busied herself in the kitchen, cooking. Rachel had taken the night off to go and see her grand daughter and Diane had decided to cook dinner with Mina helping her out. As she stirred the food, her mind suddenly went back to the kiss she had with Nicholas in the restaurant's toilet. She didn’t know if she was to smile or frown. The kiss was mind blowing and arousing and she couldn’t deny that she had not wanted him to stop. But she couldn’t seem to place her finger on the reason why Nicholas kissed her even when he knew his girlfriend was in the restaurant. Did he enjoy the kiss as much as she did? Did he think she was some form of toy he could play around with and mess up her feelings and emotions? If so, then he was in for shock. She wasn’t that kind of girl and she intended to tell him that as soon as she got the chance.
“Ma’am?” Mina called.
“Uhn?” Diane replied absent-mindedly, still stirring the food in the pot.
“Is everything okay ma?” Mina asked concernedly.
“Yeah, sure. Why do you ask?” Diane asked, a little bit surprised.
“You’ve been staring at the pot for a while,” Mina informed her with an amused smile.
“Oh,” Diane sighed. “Let’s serve dinner before they all come downstairs.”
“Yes ma’am,” Mina replied.
About one hour later, Natasha and Malvika walked downstairs. “I can’t believe there is a specific time for breakfast, lunch and dinner in this house,” Natasha groaned. “Can’t I just eat at anytime I like?”
“No, suck it up and deal with it,” Malvika replied, noisily pulling out a chair to sit down. A frown was formed on her face as she looked around.
“What’s wrong Malvi?” Diane asked, noticing her foul mood.
“Nothing,” Malvika replied with a shrug.
Ashley walked downstairs, holding on to Nicholas’ arm. Diane stared at them, a pang of jealousy and sadness hitting her. What would she not give to be in Ashley’s position, she thought to herself. Her gaze met Nicholas’ and he gave her a knowing smirk. Her cheeks burned in embarrassment. He discreetly gave her a flirty wink.
Although her heartbeat doubled and her legs felt like jelly at the gesture, she managed to give him a glare and slid into her chair. Nicholas walked to the chair beside her and sat down. She looked at him in shock.
Ashley frowned. “Nick baby, why are you sitting there?”
“Nothing,” Nicholas replied smoothly. Ashley shrugged and sat beside him. Diane frowned at that.
“Well, let’s start eating,” Diane said.
“Where is Rachel?” Nicholas asked.
“Umm…..she isn’t around.”
Nicholas frowned. “So who cooked?”
“I did,” Diane croaked sheepishly.
“What?!” Ashley yelled. “Why would you even think of cooking? I’m sure you’ve contaminated every goddamn thing in the kitchen!”
Natasha rolled her eyes. “Take a chill pill. You are such a drama queen.”
“Let’s just eat,” Nicholas said, opening his plate. “Where is Jenny?”
“She said she isn’t hungry,” Mina replied.
“Thank God for that,” Malvika muttered.
They ate in silence. The only thing that could be heard was the scraping of spoon on plates.
Diane ate her food slowly. The scent coming from Nicholas was intoxicating and was affecting every of her sense organs. She tried her best not to gaze at him and she was really doing well. Suddenly, she felt a palm squeeze her thighs. She whipped her head back and looked at Nicholas. He was staring at his food, his face was expressionless but she knew for a fact that he was the one doing that.
“Nick,” she whispered.
He didn’t reply. Instead he movies his hands higher, skimming her thighs through her sweatpants. Diane’s breath hitched as he brushed his hand across her thighs teasingly. Her breath came in short gasps as he continued his assault and put his hand into her sweatpants.
No, no, no, this is seriously getting out of hand, she thought. She panted lowly as his fingers skimmed across her pants. Seriously, is this guy sick or something, she thought. She couldn’t believe he was doing this at the dining table with his girlfriend sitting right next to him.
“Diane,” Malvika called.
Diane quickly raised her head. “Ye…yes?” she replied, stifling a moan.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah, are you okay?” Nicholas echoed. She could see the smirk that threatened to appear on his lips.
“Hmmm,” she replied. Malvika shrugged and turned away.
“Get your dirty hands off me,” Diane harshly whispered to him.
He withdrew his hand slowly and Diane suddenly felt empty and lonely, wishing she hadn’t said that. She frowned at herself, confused about her feelings. She hated this; hated this stupid feeling that made her vulnerable. Tired and frustrated, she pushed her chair back and announced, “I’m no longer hungry.”
“What? Why?” Natasha asked.
“I’ve eaten quite a lot today,” she said. “Don’t worry about me,” she stated, forcing out a smile. She nodded in Natasha’s direction before turning and walking briskly towards the stairs.
As Diane’s figure slowly disappeared at the top of the stairs, Natasha turned to Malvika, “Do you know what’s wrong with Diane?” she asked lowly, making herself audible to only Malvika.
“No!” Malvika snapped loudly.
Natasha looked at her strangely. “Wow, sorry,” she said, scoffing and rolling her eyes.
No one knew why Malvika was in such a foul mood. She kept a frown on her face all through dinner, hitting her plates and spoons together, dragging chairs around noisily. She was frustrated but she had no idea who or where to pour her frustration on.
After dinner, when everyone left for their rooms, Malvika stayed behind in the living room, pacing up and down agitatedly and waiting for Jenny. Earlier today, Jenny had told her that she wanted to talk to her. Malvika could clearly remember Jenny exact words which were: “I know about it. Wait for me in the living room so we can talk.” Those words had left Malvika confused and agitated. Know about what exactly? What did Jenny want to talk about?
Malvika waited for thirty minutes before Jenny finally came downstairs and when she did, she walked leisurely like she did not just come late to their “meeting” and denied Malvika of her sleep.
“What do you want to talk about?” Malvika snapped at Jenny, gritting her teeth. She wasted no time in asking her straight out what she wanted.
Jenny just gave her a smirk and walked to the table to pour herself a glass of water. She kept her gaze on Malvika as she slowly poured the water from the jug into the cup. Her aim was to make Malvika extremely angry and so far it was working.
Malvika’s face was red with anger. She could never stand Jenny and her stupid attitude. “Cut the crap out and tell me what the fuck you want!” Malvika said heatedly, her chest heaving.
Jenny smirked. “Easy there, tigress,” she replied with an amused chuckle. She walked closer to Malvika as slowly as she could. A satisfied grin twitching on her lips as she saw Malvika shuffling around with impatience. “I have something you will love to hear.”
She brought out her phone and played a recording. Jenny stared into Malvika’s face, observing every change in her expression - from the shock on her face when she heard Mina's tearful voice recounting every single prank they played to amusement.
When the recording stopped, the look of shock elapsed from Malvika’s face. She gave Jenny a bored look. “You found out, so what?” she asked, rolling her eyes.
“Still unrepentant, I see,” Jenny said, with a slight smile on the edge of her lips.
“There is nothing to be repentant about. You found out, duuuh. What’s the big deal? It was just an harmless prank. You all need to lighten up in this house.”
“I bet you wouldn’t be saying that when Mina loses her job.”
“You wouldn’t dare.”
“Oh, wouldn’t I?” Jenny grinned to herself. “You don’t want to try me.”
“You know Mina is really depending on this job right? You know it is this job she’s using to pay her mother’s hospital bills, right?”
“The more reason why I should do this, don’t you think?”
“You are so heartless,” Malvika gritted out. “You would risk an innocent person’s health for your selfish purposes.”
“Me, heartless? I wasn’t the one who drugged an innocent man just to clear some footages,” Jenny replied with a shrug.
“What do you want?” Malvika finally asked.
Jenny's lips slowly stretched into a smile. “Great question.”
Diane swung her leg across the bed to the floor and walked to the bathroom. She stood in front of the mirror, looked at her reflection, placed her hands on her cheek and sighed. She looked messy. Her hair was messily sticking out from the band that held it. Her face was puffy and her eyes looked swollen. But that wasn’t what she was worried about. She kept thinking about the little stunt Nicholas pulled during dinner and how badly it affected. How are body had tingled when he out his hands inside of her; how her skin felt like it was on fire when he moved his hands around. She hadn’t wanted him to stop and she couldn’t deny that it felt so good and it left her extremely needy for a release but she knew she had to stop. Nicholas just wanted to mess with her feelings; she was so sure about that. And she wasn’t going to let him do that. The knock on her door interrupted her thoughts. “I’m coming,” she said and
Malvika drove into the parking lot of the bookshop. She turned off the car, picked her handbag and got down. She locked the door, adjusted her skirt and walked into the bookshop. She had no daily job to get to and the house was becoming boring for her. So, she decided to pick up new books to keep herself busy. She walked into the bookshop, stopping by the counter to say 'hi' to the lady behind it. “Hello Joan,” she said with a charming smile. “Looking lovely today.”“Hi Malvika,” Joan greeted, looking up with a smile. “It’s nice to see you. It’s being a while you came here.”“Oh yes. I went through a major change in my life, you know. Anyway, I’m here now and will probably be visiting frequently. Got any new books for me?”“Oh, we’ve got a lot.”“Oh yeah?” Malvika asked with am excited smile.“Yeah. We’ve got new crime thri
Diane groaned in frustration as her phone rang the fifth time. The phone had been ringing and she had refused to pick. Did the person calling not get the memo that she didn’t want to pick or talk to anyone? Angrily, she picked the phone and answered the call. “Who is this?” She snapped.“Diane, this is Logan,” the person replied.“Oh! I’m so sorry, Logan, I had no idea it was you.”“That’s okay,” Logan said reassuringly. “Actually, I called to inform you that preparations for your father’s burial has been completed.”“Oh my God!” Diane gasped. “Thanks, Logan. I’ve been so caught up with different things lately that I forgot to ask about that.”“It’s okay. All that remains for us is to pick a date. Does the twenty second of next month sound okay to you?”“Yeah, that’s good.”
Ashley laid on the bed, filing her nails and chewing gum really loudly. She moved her head from side to side as she examined the nails. The door opened and Ashley looked up to see Nicholas coming in. She climbed out of the bed, dropping her nail equipment on the bed and walking towards Nicholas.“Hey baby,” she said with a hug smile, leaning closer to hug him. She snaked her hands round his neck, pulling his head down for a kiss. “How was work?”“Ugh, stressful,” Nicholas muttered.“Aww, honey,” Ashley said, rubbing his back slowly. “Well, will you mind some massage?” She asked as she watched him sit on the bed and kick his shoes away.“I would love it,” he groaned.“Good!” Ashley said excitedly. She moved closer to him and began to unbutton his shirt. She pulled his shirt off him and began to pul
DIANE pressed her nose to the window. She stared outside as Nicholas drove past the houses and trees. She didn’t want to turn to look at him; she didn’t want to start a conversation. She wanted to be alone. But of course, Nicholas did not get the hint. He had to talk. “Hey, are you okay?” he asked.Diane grunted.“Di? Is everything okay?”She grunted again.“Di?”She turned to him. “Can’t you see that I don’t want to talk to you?”He shrugged. “I want to talk.”She rolled her eyes and turned back to the window.“I should tell you a little about my grandparents, right?”“Do whatever you want,” she replied but was really interested in what he had the say.“Well, I&rs
Jenny dug her hand into her purse and brought out a lighter. Holding the cigarette with her lips, she pressed the lighter on and lit her cigarette. She held the cigarette in the middle of her two fingers, inhaled, removed the cigarette and blew out of puff. After repeating the process about three times, she brought out a phone and scrolled through the contacts. She came to a stop on Malvika’s name and dialed the number.Meanwhile, Malvika was naked in her bathtub filled with bubbles. There was a magazine in her hand and her phone was on a small table close to the wall. She sank into the bubble, letting out a deep sigh as she flipped the magazine open from page to page. Her phone rang. She sighed, pushed herself up out of the tub and reached out to pick her phone. Her brows furrowed in confusion as she saw that it was an unknown number. She swiped the answer button. “Hello?”“M
“Can you stop the music?” Diane asked, exasperated. “Your taste in music is so awful.”“You don’t like this?” Nicholas asked as he paused the music.“Please I’m trying to relax. Don’t make this harder for me,” Diane replied, massaging her temples with her fingers.“Here, let me help you out.” Nicholas say down at the edge of the bed, close to her head and replaced her fingers with his. He slowly rubbed her temple. “Relax,” he whispered.Diane groaned as the muscles in her head relaxed. “You are so good at this.”“I try.”“Ashley is enjoying a lot.”“Really? What do you mean?”“First of all, you give good head massages,” she said.“I give excell
Natasha jogged down the stairs, walked past Jenny who was sitting on the couch and headed towards the kitchen. Her throat felt parched and she needed to drink water. Just as she was about to step into the kitchen, Jenny called her. “Natasha.”Natasha stopped, a little bit confused. She turned around with a frown. “Did you just call me?”“Yes. Pass me the remote control,” Jenny simply said.“What?”“The remote control. Pass it to me.”“Jenny, it’s right in front of you,” Natasha said, staring at her in confusion.“Yes, I know that and I want you to pass it to me,” Jenny insisted much to Natasha’s disbelief.Natasha turned and walked back towards Jenny. She stood in front of her, her arms folded together. “Okay, Jenny, what are you playing
Diane stood in front of the bathroom mirror, her heart thumping wildly, her hands shaking as she unwrapped the pregnancy test packet. She lowered herself into the toilet seat, raising up her dress and pulling down her panties. Closing her eyes, she placed the pregnancy test instrument beneath and let the urine flow on it and into the toilet. Then, she placed it back on the counter and waited. Just a year ago, and some months after Diane’s kidnap, Malvika delivered her baby boy in an hospital and just as she had promised, she gave that baby to Diane and Nicholas. The baby was named Cameron Alan Langston. Some months after birthing her child, Malvika left as she had said she would and took off for Florida to continue her life despite pleas from her sisters – Natasha and Diane. Diane had been raising Cam for a year and she was enjoying every moment of it. But recently she had begun to feel feverish – vomiting all over the house. No food could stay in her belly. At first she thought it wa
A slight sound of movement outside made Diane open her eyes. The entire room was still dark as there was no space for illumination. Her hands and feet were still bound together. Her neck hurt from having bending them in one position for a very long time. The mosquitoes in the room kept biting her and the notes were painful. She had been unable to sleep for a while even with her eyes closed, so when she heard movement in front of the door, her eyes flew open. She fixed her gaze on the door, sensing movements behind it. Her heartbeat increased in fear as she was unable to tear her gaze away from the door. Her fear heightened when someone started to bang something on the door. She began to struggle with her chains, unable to move. “Help!” she yelled. “Somebody, help me!” But the banging increased, until the door was pushed open. She opened her mouth and let out a loud scream when she saw the uniformed men armed to the bones barging in, “Ahhhhhhh…….” “Ma'am, please you can calm down,” On
"Ashley?!" Nicholas exclaimed. Ashley glanced up, her eyes grief and fear stricken. She pushed at the hair that were sticking to her face because of the tears. "Nicholas," she gasped behind her cuffed hands. "Oh my God, Nicholas you are here. I missed you!" She cried. "What are you doing here, Ashley?" Nicholas asked, still shocked and confused. "How....how did you get here?" "I....I was arrested," she mumbled. "For what? How? What did you do?" He threw a series of questions at her, all of which she did not answer. He stared at her, a small frown on his face as something finally clicked. "The cops said they arrested a couple of people who turned out to be a gang. They got an address from these guys and when they got there they found.....you?" He was shocked.....and although he was able to piece it together, he was still very much confused. "I'm sorry," Ashley whispered. "For?" "What happened," she cried. "I....I didn't know at first. She didn't tell me we were going to kill her
Diane slowly opened her eyes. She let out a soft groan of pain as she tried to adjust herself on the ground. Her hands kept pulling against the cuffs. She glances around, shuffling her legs. The entire room was dark, except for the ray of light coming in beneath the door. She had spent almost two days in this hell hole that Jenny and Derek had locked her up in. Just yesterday, one of Jenny's goons had placed a call to her family, demanding a ransom. Diane let out a pant. She was feeling hungry and thirsty. Not only that, her entire body was in serious pains. Her body ached to the marrow and she had this massive headache that forced her to wince from time to time. She could not wait to get out of here, yet she had no idea how she would get out. The doors and windows were locked, her hands and feet were handcuffed and there was absolutely no way that she could free herself. Her best and only option was to wait for Nicholas to pay the ransom so she could be released. Just then, the door
“Hey,” Malvika said as she walked down the stairs tiredly. Natasha was sprawled on the couch, tired from her constant crying. Her eyes were red and her cheeks looked swollen. Malvika walked towards her and sat beside her. “Hey, are you still crying?” She asked, looking around the living room. She saw Nicholas standing by the door, talking lowly to someone on the phone. “I’m too tired to cry,” Natasha answered weakly. Her weeping had seeped out every of her energy. She pulled herself to sit up. “What do you think happened to her? She said she was going out and all of a sudden, we couldn’t find her. How did that happen?” “Okay, I need you to calm down,” Malvika said. “The cops are doing everything they can and Nicholas and I are trying our hardest best to find her. We are going to find her, okay?” Malvika tried to reassure her younger sister. She sounded sure of herself, but deep down, her insides crawled with doubt and fear. What if they were never able to find her? Was she so sure th
“Yeah, I don’t think that’s going to be possible,” Jenny says into her phone, pulling the cigarette away from her lips and blowing out a puff of smoke. She was seated on the chair, her legs crossed out in front of her as she listened to her brother ask her to come to the house. “Nick, I really appreciate the invite, but I’m sorry, I’m not going to be able to make it. And by the way, I’m really sorry about Diane.” After a while, she hung up and threw the phone on the table, letting out a sigh. “Nicholas?” Ashley asked as she flipped through a magazine. She glanced up at Jenny, raising her brow. “Yeah.” Jenny let out an exaggerated sigh. “He wants me to come over today,” she said, rolling her eyes. “I’m not going though. I’m in the middle of something,” she said, blowing out a ring of smoke while Ashley chuckled. “Why can’t we go, though?” “We?” Jenny raised a brow? “Who’s we?” she asked. “You and I of course.” “Okay cute, but he didn’t invite both of us. He invited me, his sister.
Malvika sat in front of the car with Nicholas, her nose pressed on to the window as she was deep in thoughts. Beside her, Nicholas drove as carefully as he could, the both of them thinking about Diane. He was driving her to the restaurant where Diane’s cat was found. She had an inkling of what the restaurant was or who might be behind the kidnap but she needed to confirm it first.“What are you thinking about?” Nicholas asked, breaking the silence. She pursed her lips, turning to look at him. Then, she answers, “I might know who could be Diane’s disappearance,” she answered, slowly and carefully, watching his face for any reaction. He darted a surprised glance in her direction. “Really? Who?”“You are not going to be happy about this,” Malvika answerez. She paused, before finally saying, “Jenny.”“What?!” Nicholas sharply pulled the brake of the car in shock, halting it. A loud honk resonated behind them as a car drove angrily past them. “Sorry!” Nicholas called out, before turning ba
“Any news?” Natasha asked as she descended the stairs with Alyssa behind her. Her eyes were red from tears and she rubbed her cheeks to clean them off. Malvika and Grace were seated on the couch in the living room. Olivia was spread across Grace’s leg, sleeping peacefully. They had all stayed in the living room, waiting to here from Diane but heard nothing.Malvika shook her head. “No. Mark and Nick went to the station this morning,” she said.Natasha sighed, slumping on the chair. Alyssa sat down quietly beside her. “But where did she go?”“No one knows.”“She told me she wanted to receive a phone call,” Grace informed them, rubbing her hands slowly round her daughter, Olivia’s back. “That was all. I didn’t see her again.”“Her car isn’t in the garage,” Malvika said. “So, she went with her car.”“But someone must have seen her leave.”Malvika sighed. “We didn’t and we don’t even know who to ask. Hopefully, Mark and Nicholas will come back with good news.”The four of them sat in the
A groan slipped out of Diane’s mouth. Her left leg moved a bit as she struggled to straighten her shoulders. She subconsciously tugged her hands, sensing that they were in some sort of bondage. She let out another groan, this time fluttering her eyes open slowly. Her hazy sight was, however, met with darkness. She blinked twice, glancing around but her gaze met nothing but darkness. What happened? She wondered, squeezing her eyes shut as she tried to remember what happened the night before. With her eyes still shut, an image of her standing in the living room reading Ashley’s text message. She remembered leaving the house and going to a restaurant that looked deserted and out of business. She remembered thinking she would find Ashley there. And she remembered someone hitting her head. The last thing she remembered was blacking out.Oh God.Was she kidnapped? She was kidnapped! They freaking kidnapped her!Did that happen to Ashley too? Maybe that was why she was texting her. Did the s
