JANE's POV

I saw the happiness on Jaxson's girlfriend’s face; she was so excited that Jaxson kissed her in my presence; that was a reassurance for her. He took her around the whole space and they held their hands like teenage lovers as they walked around the whole building. I was disgusted by their public display of affection; I hated it; it made me sick. I was a little bit jealous, even though I tried to live in denial.

Jaxson did the worst; he brought her to my desk and started showing her my painting. How can he still be dating this crazy girl who came to threaten me? What was wrong with Jaxson? I was so pained when he wrapped his hands around her waist; he winked at me when they turned to leave; I was so angry that I felt my stomach turn; I wished I could give him a slap for what he just did; if not for my purpose here, I would have stood up and left the job; his girlfriend was busy smiling sheepishly; she acted like a teenager that was dancing in prom.
