Why do bad things happen to good people? I lifted up my leg and danced round the room. The pain was sudden and sharp, and it took my breath away. I bit my lip to keep from crying out, and my eyes filled with tears. I bent down and gingerly touched the injured area. It was already starting to swell, and I knew it was going to bruise.
