Do you believe that destiny will give you what you deserve? Well, if I could touch destiny, I would smack it. Why? Simply because destiny is my worst enemy.
Can you imagine it? I am already mid-twenties .I am twenty-seven years old, and has yet to find a decent and nice job.
Honestly speaking, she isn’t smart, and her looks aren’t beyond average either. She is also small and mistaken for a teenager because her height doesn’t match her age. She has wavy hair with curls on the edges, and her eye color is butterscotch. She is half Filipina-American. Because her life is complicated, she learned to be an independent woman at a young age. When she says it’s complicated, it means her life stinks.
“I think I’m really unlucky, Tiffany,” I said tearfully to my best friend, Tiffany Maurer, while drinking coffee at a coffee shop near the company where the woman worked. My best friend had just come home from a business trip, so we decided to get together to celebrate her return.
I tried to apply for a job for the nth time, but to no avail. As expected, it didn’t go well. The company texted me to inform me that I had failed to pass the interview. It wasn’t as if it was the first time, but I couldn’t seem to get used to it.
I couldn’t help but recall my childhood with a twinge of bitterness from my past. My world was turned upside down fifteen years ago when my parents died in a car accident, which was the cause of my downfall. I was left with nothing and had to fend for myself.
In the blink of an eye, everything in my life vanished into thin air, as if continuing to live would be such a waste of time. Everything I remembered had only become a fragment of my memory. They slipped away all at once.
Their company went bankrupt, and the best option was to move to another town to run away from loan sharks that were chasing me to charge me on my father’s debt.
I grew up with Eleanor Finley, my reliable godmother, who adopted me after my parents had died. My godmother, like me, had been living alone since her husband died a year after their wedding, and they had no children, adding to her longing and misery. Eleanor and I shared a house under one roof. We considered ourselves family. We formed a special bond, and it was a mother-daughter relationship.
However, as I entered ninth grade, my godmother, whom I acknowledged to be my mother, passed away as well. It turned out Eleanor had a serious illness that she had kept hidden from me. I was deeply saddened by her death because I felt indebted to her for taking care of me and being with me, even if only for a short time.
I took on various jobs to support myself and my education now that I was back on my own. I assumed I would have and live a good life after graduating from college, but I was mistaken. Yet, I remained unbreakable in a life full of twists and turns. Despite my past scars,I appeared unbothered by loneliness and melancholy. I am, indeed, a fearless woman. I am indestructible.
Tiffany rolled her eyes. “You’re not, okay? You just haven’t found the right job for you yet.”
I pursued my lips, and adjusted my bangs. “Then, what job is perfect for me? At the age of twenty-seven, I should be working to become stable, looking for love, and living the best life there is, but here I am, jobless and penniless.”
“Let me think…” My best friend pretended to be contemplating while holding its chin. “Perhaps digging graves is the best career for you,” Tiffany quipped, having fun teasing me.
I scowled and shot my friend a sharp glare. “Tsk! It’s not funny! You’re not making me feel any better.”
I shook my head and frowned, becoming intrigued as Tiffany rummaged through my bag. When I noticed a paper coming out, I jerked an eyebrow. My friend handed me a newspaper and pointed to a large front page, which read the details in the headline.
The President of Crimson Group Incorporation is hiring for a secretary. If you are interested in the position, please contact us or visit our company for the application.
“Why don’t you try applying here?” Tiffany suggested.
Instead of being happy, I became even sadder. I was eager to give it a shot, but I knew the company. It is one of the most famous companies in the country. To my dismay, I would have a difficult time searching for a job.
“In the company you’re working at?”
Tiffany nodded, her voice brimming with excitement. “Yes, why? Is there a problem with that?”
I waved both my hands dismissively. “No, thank you.”
“Why not? Just keep trying until you get a job!”
“I’m not sure, Tiff. Do you think I can get in there? If they see my record, they might drag me out. They wouldn’t want an inexperienced employee in their company, right?”
It caused my friend to sigh. “Come on, Mallory! Don’t look at it in a negative way! There’s no harm in trying, and why bother worrying when you have nothing to lose?”
I crossed my arms across my chest. “What do you mean, there will be no loss? If I don’t get the job, my self-esteem will plummet even further.”
“Then, just dig graves! You’re hopeless.” Once again, Tiffany rolled her eyes, shaking her head. I stared at my friend, mouth agape.
Is she really my friend?
I sipped my coffee and let out a burdensome sigh, peering out into the clear blue sky, considering my friend’s tempting offer.
Will I accept the job? Or will I pass up the opportunity?

I took a deep breath before entering the company in front of me. I was even more nervous because it looked like I would be blocked by the guard at the entrance. I wasn’t comfortable in a skirt, so Ionly wore jeans and a formal blouse.
“Good morning, ma’am,” I greeted the woman behind the counter. I smiled to make it easier for me to breathe. Those who came out were treated rudely by the intimidating woman at the registrar’s office.
“Good morning. What can I do for you?”
I released a subtle smile. “I would like to apply for the position of secretary. Where can I give my resume?”
It’s a good thing I was accompanied by a nice front desk receptionist. I didn’t want to get into any trouble with my application.
“Ah, yes, ma’am. You can give it to me, and I’ll send it to the president’s office. He’ll make the decision.”
My eyebrows formed a thin line. “Will there be no interview?”
It’s weird because, shouldn’t there be at least a test or an interview?
“No, as long as you fit the president’s likings, you have a chance to be hired,” the woman replied, explaining the company’s policy.
That’s when I winced. If my personal information is used as the basis for the qualification, I am out. I has no prior experience and is a failure. I doesn’t have much quality. I has no chance of passing at all.
“Oh, is that so? All right, here it is.”
I handed my resume. The woman smiled and picked up my folder. “Got it, ma’am. Wishing you good luck! I hope you get the job.”
“Thank you,” I said before leaving.
I made my way to the exit of the company; I came to a screech halt and scratched my head, remembering I didn’t have any money to buy food today. It was inconvenient to bother Tiffany, especially since I was only going to borrow money from her again. Because my mind was wandering somewhere else, I was completely unaware of a vehicle approaching me.
“Oh, God!” I screamed when I heard the car horn. My eyes widened as I realized it was speeding towards me. I was immobile and frozen in place. It was as if the car was slowing around me and I was just waiting for it to hit me.
But, before anything could happen, the car stalled. My entire body trembled at what had happened. A few people were staring at me, and murmuring because of the terrifying incident –my first near-death experience.
I gasped for air, panting before glaring at the car that had almost hit me. “Hey, you! Are you crazy?!” I yelled like a gangster on the streets.
I kicked the car’s tire, which caused me to wince as I felt the stinging pain.
“Get out of there! I’m going to charge you with attempted murder!”
I backed away as the sports car door opened. I first saw the black shoes, which were obviously expensive because of the polish. My face was ashamed of its luster.
“What if you killed me–” I began only to be distracted after catching a glimpse of the man’s face. My lips parted open, as if I was mesmerized by a celebrity.
In all my life, he was probably the most handsome man I had ever seen. Because his eyes were on me, I swallowed the lump in my throat. He was frowning, and for me, he was intimidating. His blue eyes were filled with annoyance, but also with concern?
“Are you insane, miss? Why weren’t you looking at where you’re going?”
My lips hung open again, not because of its beauty, but because of embarrassment.
Antipathetic!
Irritation and anger gave way to a wave of surprise. “Me? Insane?! You nearly killed me!”
He rubbed his nose. “Exactly, what are you doing, and why are you crossing the road as if you’re daydreaming?”
Ouch! Well, that’s true, but it still hurts. It was partly my fault, but I refused to take the blame.
I bit her bottom lip. I didn’t notice the young man’s eyes were following the movement of her lips. He swallowed, averted his eyes, and cleared his throat.
He slid his hands into his pocket. “Do you want me to bring you to the hospital?”
I shook my head immediately, disagreeing at a swift speed. It would only be quite expensive, and I couldn’t afford to pay if he charged me a fortune! I still doesn’t have any money and I looks fine, except for my face, which is enchanted by the handsome man in front of me, and the trembling of her thigh because San Pedro almost took him, nonetheless, I am okay.
“No, I’m fine.”
The young man squinted. He also didn’t pay attention to the people who were staring at them because they knew who he was.
“Are you sure?”
I quickly nodded before bowing, “I-I’m sorry! Goodbye!”I said before running away.
I hoped we wouldn’t cross paths again because it was embarrassing for me.
I was startled awake when my phone buzzed for a call. I squinted at it on my bedside table before I picked up the phone.“Hello?” I said, my voice distorted from drowsiness. What time did I sleep last night? Well, Tiffany annoyed me again. My friend had not stopped teasing me after I told her what had happened to me, and suggested that the handsome, blue-eyed man might be my destiny.Tsk! If I could see destiny, I would probably use it for ruining my life.“Good morning, Ms. Mallory Addison Finley.” I heard a woman’s voice over the line.I heaved a deep breath and sat up in my bed while stretching my arms. “Yes?”“I would like to tell you that you are hired.”My eyes, which were closed not long ago, grew bigger.Wait! What? I’ve been hired?!My heart was overflowing with joy. I couldn’t seem to process the good news I had heard earlier in the day.Am I dreaming?“W-Why? How? Uh, I mean, are you sure, ma’am?”It was understandable for me to overreact in my situation, especially since I
“Are you going to stand there the whole time? Won’t you come inside?” the man asked calmly.I, on the other hand, was like a stump standing in front of the door. I wished the earth would open up and swallow me.I swore, destiny was playing tricks on me. Of all people, why was he my boss? Why does he have to be the person with whom I fought the last time? How will I manage to look him in the eyes without feeling uncomfortable?I began to regret accepting my friend’s offer to work for the Crimson Group Incorporation. I made the mistake of messing with my boss.My face turned red as I remembered what happened when we first met. It was an utter humiliation Inever wanted to happen again.“Come inside,” he ordered with authority.I rushed into his office and shut the door behind me before walking over to his desk. My gaze remained glued to the floor. I was overcome with mortification and could not bear to meet his eyes. I held my ground and kept my distance, not wanting to make another emba
"Will you stop?" I stopped my mind because of where it was going. It's just a simple concern of the boss, I'm assuming again. I sighed, then I put my phone down so I could concentrate when suddenly someone texted again. My heart was thumping as I took it up, and my first assumption was that the boss was texting once more.Time to celebrate, Maddie! You’re no longer unemployed! Even if it's just a case of beer and then a man. I know you waited this long, so let's enjoy the night. Come and see me here. We must celebrate! Come, let's go to our hideout.Reading the message from my one and only friend made me pause. I should leave now that my supervisor is away and my work is done. But, I am considering not bringing her to our secret location because I don't have enough money.I move quickly because I think she is impatient. As I was moving, I spotted a really attractive and seductive woman seated on a sofa next to the waiting room. It quite impressed me. She has long golden hair that comp
"Excuse me, I forgot to serve your coffee, babe." Zara said seductively with a wink at Luke."When did you arrive?" Luke asked indifferently."I didn’t want to tell you since I wanted to surprise you. Do you miss me?" She replied lustily.Luke didn't answer, instead he looked at a cup of coffee that was lying on the side of the table. He looked at Zara again, she was already close to him.He chuckled. He moved the swivel chair to get some distance from the table; he knew it was going to be on his lap and he didn't make a mistake as she quickly lifted the skirt she wore that was only thigh length, opening it to sit in front of him.Luke immediately felt the heat between his thighs, seeping through his slacks. She even intended to bum her huge breasts to his eyes. She knows he is a sucker of big boobs. She kisses his face with a butterfly motion. He simply let Zara leave since he suddenly lost track of the girl who had been occupying his thoughts.Luke groaned when she grinds her hips.
Luke"You're not really afraid of me? How dare you sleep here?" "I should fire you right now. That's what I hate most of all. Sleeping during work hours? I paid you to work!."I purposely walked in front of her table and stomped my foot hard to wake her up, but still nothing. She slept soundly.I attempted to shake the table, but nothing happened. I hadn't noticed until I unintentionally turned to gaze at her face. She isn’t particularly attractive, and she’s petite. But why did I become attracted to her? She is distinct from the girls I’ve previously dated. I was about to kiss her when I realized I had already lowered my gaze to her chest. Although it isn’t so big, I can see that it has been organized and appears to have been in its original form.Oh, Luke, come on! Why do you think this way? You don’t even know her well!I couldn’t help but fixate on her. She’s just an ordinary girl, but she has something unique that I haven’t yet been able to identify.I cannot control how vivid m
Clara, Tiff, and Maddie's eyes are rolling, but they are still drinking tequila."Let's go home, we’re all drunk already and we still have work tomorrow." Mallory said."Nevermind that, friend? Let's celebrate again today because you didn't get fired even though you turned your office into a sleeping place." Tiff laughed out loud."Huh? Is that true? It's a miracle that there is something like that in our office that wasn't removed and kicked out immediately." Clara agreed while eating the honey.“One more shot, Cheers!” Tiff shouted and raised their wine glasses at the same time. "Come on, Clara. Ever since your worthless ex-boyfriend left you, you've been no fun. Live your life to the fullest. Besides, with the size of the Philippines, you think you'll meet someone more handsome than him.” Tiff smiled at Clara."Why did the conversation go to me, instead of our new workmate? Mallory, do you have a boyfriend yet?” Tiff asked Mallory to change the subject. She leaned back in the chai
LukeIt's really annoying, I can't calm the heat of my body."Mallory! you hung up on me"I immediately remembered my sex slave before who was nearby. She hasn't seen me since the day she had a boyfriend and she wants to change her life.I couldn't think of anything else but her so I immediately drove the car as fast as I could towards her.He can't make it by himself just to fulfill his lust. He never did that's why his recent secretaries resigned because when he feels lust, he always has sex with his recent secretaries. His secretary also wants to like it because apart from being handsome, he pays them much for sex. It's just that the others resigned because they were getting married. The others were smart enough, and they used what Luke paid them and set up businesses so they left. Eventually he was near the condo of his former sex slave.I just hope her boyfriend is not there.Right after I entered her condo, she already knew why I’m there just looking in my eyes. She suddenly unb
CEO Luke "Gosh, we almost got caught there! This is all your fault, Mallory! Get ready for me in the office," he warned her, as if she could hear it. He went back inside the bar. He forgot he was with someone. "What happened to that woman?" His cousin Zian immediately asked when he sat down. He sat on the stool next to him and ordered a shot of rum. "Nothing. She left. Sorry if I took so long—my secretary called again," he excused himself. Then he slowly looked at the polo, as if it wasn't obvious that he just finished fucked her sex slave before. I‘m worried if it’s crumpled or has a mark of lipstick on it. "Left?" He laughed mockingly. "She left you? Wow! For the first time in history, a lady has left you!" He teased me. He was right. No other woman dared to leave him. So for him, what Mallory did to him was unacceptable. "Nothing. Let's leave that girl alone. Nothing to talk about her," he sipped the wine. While looking at the people dancing on the dance floor, his mind
"Oh, Luke, go find your son!" Dwayne's foolish son is making everything worse! Oh, where did that youngster obtain his fortune, and he's so naughty!" Mallory explained. Yes, Klynt is acquainted with Kennedy."Luke, he's already over there." At the same time, point to him. They're already sweating in front of our house. Klynt had bruises on his face, which I noticed."Hey, kid! "How are you doing?" I inquired of our son."I got into a fight because those ugly guys wanted to flirt with my crush-"My son's words made my eyes widen. I was taken aback when he abruptly sprinted away from me."Bye, daddy!"I hurled stones at the crazed kid who was breaking into our house."Ouch! miiii!" says the narrator. When I turned around, Mallory was already holding our son's ear, and she dropped Klynt, who ran towards me."You're a kid!" That's it, whatever you say.""Come in and take a shower!" "You have the smell of the sun!" Klynt hugged his mother, and Mallory returned the hug before going inside t
After a month......While Mallory considers whether or not to accept Mr. Dave's offer. Mallory was merely a rebound due to her resentment against Luke from the beginning. A contract marriage for her to exact revenge on Mr. Crimson for abusing her.Even though Dave discovered that this was Mallory's true purpose, he offered her even more assistance, which made Mallory feel stronger.Until she decided to agree and sign the contract one day, but Mallory fell in the middle of her work.Luke was taken aback when he received a call from the company. He drove the automobile immediately to the hospital, where Mallory was removed. He was shaking when he arrived at the hospital and instantly got out of the car and hurried inside. He couldn't help but hug Mallory, and he doesn't care if she wakes up.He was very repentant for torturing Mallory.A few moments later, the doctor arrived and discovered that it was the result of too much stress, as well as that Mallory's heart was weak. His world was
Luke's perspectiveI was distracted by the abrupt ringing of my cell phone, which was still unopened on the bedside table, so I immediately snatched it up."Hello," I mumbled sleepily."Bro, Mallory is going to go there with you-""HOLY HELL!" Dwayne! STOP KIDDING! ASSHOLE!" I preceded him by yelling, "Damn this asshole, I know deep down that I want Malloey to come here, but I don't want to hope again.""I'm not exaggerating, bastard! In reality, he could appear at any time!"Knock, knock, knock! When someone knocked on the door, I turned swiftly, damn it!"Luke?" When I heard Mallory's voice, I instantly jumped up and confessed to the full length mirror fuck, I quickly hurried to the comfort room and fixed myself."Luke!" Mallory was said to be impatient. I cleansed myself and immediately put on correct clothing based on the tone of her voice.I'm very nervous! Why? Oh my goodness, I'm gay! When I opened the door, I found Mallory frowning, her arms crossed across her chest.I took my
Luke's POV"Where is my wine, sister?" I yelled angrily.I've been waiting for a long time! Our maid went slowly, and I heard footsteps; it had to be my sister, because I had just finished drinking wine in the room."Here it is, sir," says the server. I merely nodded, he placed the bottle of wine on my table, and he walked away.Am I really going to give up? Should I abandon Mallory in favor of another man? When the door unexpectedly opened, I turned to face it."Luke," Dwayne entered, and I grimaced. What brings it here? This is where I went home to our house; when they are here, this is truly our home."What? "What brings you here?" When I asked him, he sat down next to me and took a bottle of wine."Nothing," he responded, then frowned when he noticed my looks."Damn, Luke, why are you crying?" he inquired, I averted my gaze, it's a joke, it'll probably laugh at me!"Stop talking! "Can you leave right now?" When I mentioned I was irritated, he shook his head."Tsk, tsk, what's your
She gazed at me for a few seconds before abruptly laughing, "Shhh... Hahaha!" She laughed, as if I were fooling with her! What's the joke in what I said?"W-what's so funny?" When I asked, she laughed and pointed at me."You! "Hahahaha, you're very good at joking, aren't you?" I rushed over to her and grabbed her shoulder."Damn you, Mallory!" I'm not kidding!" I was likewise taken aback when I burst out bawling. My tears streamed down my cheeks."Tsk, you can!" Don't make me seem dramatic! whatever you want to say! "Just go home, you're already drunk!" she said, and I shook my head before hugging her.I pressed my face on her neck."Luke! What the hell is going on? "Please let me go!"She attempted to push me, but I hugged her even tighter."Luke, I'm really going to scream here!" I don't pay attention to her, and the hug continues."RAPE!!AHHHH! "PLEASE HELP ME!!!" Her yell took me by surprise. A few seconds later, a group of men approached us, attempting to drag me away from Mallor
Damn, it's been three years since Mallory left me, and here I am still waiting for her, Damn I am so unhappy, I don't even know how I lived without her, it's true what they say, only when she is gone from you will you appreciate the value of a person.I didn't understand I was practically addicted to becoming a womanizer again until things became even worse. She caught me having sex with someone else just as she was about to see me. I tried everything to find her and looked into why she didn't seem to have changed. Her stomach does not appear to be growing. She is, as far as I know, pregnant. There, I learned about her pain while I was making my world happy and having fun every night while she was in the hospital. And yet again, we were caught having sex with that girl who comes to see me virtually every day. That chick has a lot of lust. When I found out about their plans and that they were only paying to copy Mallory, even though she continued repeating she loves me now and is ready
Andy POVDennis and I are in a bar today. I invited him because I want to get drunk right now."You used to be good at giving me advice, but now you're even dumber than me, haha!" I gave Dennis a harsh look that said, "Stupid brother, I'm already causing you problems and you're still laughing at me, can I punch you?""Fuck you, Dennis!"He simply smirks at me."Tell me the truth, bro, are you truly in love with Mallory?" or are you just fooling around with her?" He stated it seriously, and it made me ponder. Is it true that I'm madly in love with Mallory? I admit I didn't truly love him at first, darn it, I just said I did because I knew he loved me, am I stupid? tsk, but what about now? I'm not sure, I'm so perplexed! I'm not sure if I adore her or lust after her.Is it only me who misses my first girlfriend?"I-"I'm not sure," I bowed, astonished when Dennis punched me.I even slipped out of my seat."GOD FORBID! "WHAT ON EARTH WAS THAT FOR?" I yelled.Damn! My lips are bulging at t
MalloryFor a few days, I didn't pay much attention to Andy because I knew he could see what I was doing by simply avoiding him.Every time he asked me out, I always declined, claiming that I was sleepy or had something important to accomplish.I'm simply here at our house now, and I'm going to apply for a job at Jania's coffee shop, which I like because Jania is always there."Mallory! Are you not going to eat? You're such a child, you're so disrespectful! Eat now because you didn't eat yesterday night or this morning! "Don't kill yourself!" auntie was preaching to me as she stood at the door to my chamber."Okay, auntie, let's get down," I replied listlessly as I pushed myself out of bed."How little food you eat---"Auntie's words were cut short when we heard a voice from outside the house; because my brother was outdoors, the person speaking to him was most likely him.I stood up and went outdoors."Get out! Get out!!" When I observed my sister conversing with Margie, I grimaced.
"It's great that your husband let you!" Rica told Jania, "The three of us are at the mall today, just walking around; it's been a while since the three of us have been together.""Of course! It irritates me as a man who appears restless when I'm not present!" Jania exclaimed proudly."Gosh, yes, you're already a handsome man!" Jania laughed and then spoke, as I joked."Wow! You also snagged your brother! That's why your father is also attractive! "Haha," he added with a giggle, "I blushed.""Crazy!" I said.We were just walking about."Wow! "Those shoes are stunning!" When I noticed the shoes, I swiftly went inside a boutique."Wow! Yes, it's beautiful-"We had a quick glance at the shoes."Hello, babe!" When my two companions heard what Margie told me, they raised their eyebrows. Yes, we saw Margie and took her shoes! Gosh!"Who exactly is that?" Rica muttered gruffly, her face furrowed.I knew this girl was a war freak, so I held her arm so that if she attacked Margie, I could stop
