Naya had enough of running away. So when she heard Edith’s suggestion, she faced her and flatly said, “No.”

Edith was stunned, needless to say. Naya didn’t want to explain. Her plans remained a secret; not even the Midnight Seven knew about them. She was taken back to this pack and she knew then, she had to make use of whatever resource she had.

If that resource meant the West Wood Pack itself, so be it.

Luckily, the guards came before Edith demanded her explanation. Edith quickly left before the guards could find her.

Naya could only assume she would tell her on Alpha Prince Lorenzo but that was something Naya would think about later. For now, what she needed to do was stay still in this room. In Alpha Prince Kael’s room.

The night continued to deepen but Naya didn’t find Kael’s shadow. For some strange reason, the entire night, he didn’t return to his room.

It made Naya wonder if something had happened to the Blessing Ceremony everyone kept talking about.

The next morning, it

It was rare for each pack to have a Luna that bore all qualities emanated by the holy tablets in the temple of the Moon Goddess, but many years ago, this kind of Luna existed and it was through Luna Arabella, the first wife and mate of Alpha Jake. Because of this, Sana Azalea highly regarded Luna Arabella’s children as blessed full-blooded alphas. However, the more years passed by, the more rumors spread and reached her about an eccentric prince from the West Wood Pack. It surprised her further when she learned the said prince was the youngest son of Luna Arabella. Alpha Prince Kael having a peculiar reputation in his own pack wasn’t surprising but the reality was that it had already spread in different territories and packs – all of whom had varied reactions and opinions. Majority of people believed Alpha Prince Kael was a hopeless, nut case. “Don’t cause trouble,” Kael’s father, Alpha Jake, told him once Sana Azalea left them. The not so bothered prince wore a playful smile and t

The moon was about to leave the sky when Grizel and Sana Azalea stepped out through the back door. To say Grizel was at her wits end was just an understatement. Her heart was racing crazily the entire time they walked and for a second, she thought of running back to the village but then again, she couldn’t particularly reject Sana Azalea’s request. Alpha Prince Kael had already received too many punishments in the past, adding more was something Grizel would never want to happen. She held her thoughts and emotions to herself, braving herself as she walked with Sana Azalea and her two guards. The only hope she had left was for Jed to find out quickly about their charade and stop Sana Azalea… If that was even possible. Meanwhile, on the pack central grounds, Jed reached Alpha Prince Kael and told him with confidence, “I made sure she won’t speak.” Kael nodded, rubbing his chin, “How long do you think this is going to take? I want to return to my chambers.” “You can’t leave yet, Alp

Naya was sitting by the window when the clouds began to gather and the air turned moist. Flashes of lightning could be seen, paired with drops of water that started to come down from the gray skies, painting a colder and harsher morning. It was an unusual occurrence, as rain with the sun still present high above indicated something in this world. For a second, Naya’s thoughts of escaping halted as she sat still in silence, quite mesmerized by the rare sight before her. But it didn’t take long for the peace to settle in as a sudden knock on the door was heard and she was pulled out of her reverie. Alert, Naya watched as the door opened. Grizel appeared in an instant. But what surprised Naya the most was the person behind her. Clad in a pristine white dress, Sana Azalea took off her hood and revealed her face. Then she moved forward, almost floating as she gracefully took steps towards Naya. “Are you… Alpha Prince Kael’s mate?” she asked. Naya was silent. Who was this person and w

The string of colors danced in the air before gradually dispersing, blending back into the living nature. The damp ground caused people's movements to trip between hurried strides and cautious steps as they moved forward and departed. Naya stood frozen, her eyes wide as she stared at the unmoving woman on the ground. Despite the blood trickling from her lips, Sana Azalea lay with a peaceful expression, as if her mission had been fulfilled. The rustling of bushes startled Naya. She turned and saw a familiar face. Alpha Prince Kael stood silently, his gaze locked with hers under the early morning sun. Slowly, his eyes shifted to the lifeless Sana Azalea, noting the arrow still embedded in her chest. Tension filled the air as Alpha Prince Kael entered the room with Naya and Jed. Jed’s gaze was full of worry but before he could even utter a word, he heard Kael speak. “Leave us alone,” he ordered. Jed wanted to oppose, not wanting to leave Kael with the rogue after the tragic incident with Sana Azalea. However, he too was filled with many questions, especially with what those two women said to Naya. What was that all about? And why did they ask Alpha Prince Kael to visit their Holy Temple? In the end, Jed could only follow what his boss ordered him to. While leaving, he couldn’t help but glance at Naya who was silent the entire time. This woman didn’t know any of the moon disciples but they seemed to know her. How did it happen? With more questions in his mind, Jed turned to the door and left. • Unhinged Alpha's Slave Mate    53 - Descendant

Alpha Jake was a very simple leader. His priority was always the West Wood Pack, its safety and security. Since the outside events were no longer in his control, he refused to take part in them. Even when other packs reached out in hopes to join forces, he flatly rejected them. If there was one pack he could trust, that was the Crimson Stone Pack. However, there was still a limit to the partnership between their pack to that biggest pack. For example, in terms of warfare talks, the majority of things would stay confidential. The resources they maintained were kept and would only be shared through trading. It was a give and take relationship, funded by the strong loyalty for each other. But in the end, one could only share a few things, not everything. The reason for this was one could never fully trust people except their kin, because it was written in the books of life that tragedy exists when there was too much trust given to people who do not belong to the same pack or wasn’t one

The news about the West Wood Pack’s alpha princes about to take wives spread in the territory like a wildfire. The sadness that came from the anointed shaman’s death was quickly replaced by excitement. Even the readings about the upcoming drought were cast aside. “It’s bound to happen. Sooner or later, all the alpha princes will have to take their mates eventually,” Head Servant Nana Harlene said to the servants while they were cooking in the main pack house kitchen. Apparently, Alpha Prince Felix was going to join his mother and father for lunch today. Some say they would also discuss the upcoming Blue Moon Hunt. One young servant asked, “But, Nana, shouldn’t fate be the one to dictate their bond with their mates?” A deep emotion flashed through Nana Harlene’s eyes before it disappeared. “Time has changed. About 100 years ago, a new tradition came supported by the anointed shaman’s blessing. In each pack, Alpha and his sons are given the chance to take whoever they wish to be the

Naya's eyes widened, her heart racing as she slowly looked up to see Kael standing beside her, his usual arrogant smile softened by a hint of concern. A single tear slid down her cheek, and as Kael’s smile faded, his expression grew cold, especially when another voice cut through the air."Even until the end, you're still weak," Alfredo sneered. "I raised you, trained you, and you can't even complete your mission! If you're not going to do it, then I will! Men, kill the heir! Bring me his head!"At Alfredo's command, the soldiers of the Light Shadow Pack, along with the remaining Midnight Seven, charged forward. Zeke, knowing how much Luna Alicia wanted to protect Billy—Ruben—leapt into the fray, defending him and fighting alongside the Crimson Stone Pack soldiers. Kael soon joined the battle, shifting into his wolf form and tearing through the Light Shadow Pack members with lethal precision. The two brothers fought side by side until Kael confronted Alfredo."So, you're her father?"

Naya stood frozen, a whisper escaping her lips, “No…” Billy was lying. Naya knew he was. But as she looked into his eyes, a chilling certainty crept in—he wasn’t lying at all. “It’s the truth, Naya,” he said, his expression softening, tinged with a trace of melancholia. “Many years ago, when I was just a child, my parents were forced to leave because of an internal conflict within our pack. An ordinary servant of the Light Shadow Pack took me in and raised me as their own before they passed away. But I didn’t come from there. I belong to this pack, the Crimson Stone Pack. And my name isn’t Billy. It’s Ruben. I have alpha blood, and I’m the heir to this pack.” As Naya listened, her mind spun with confusion, each word Billy spoke tightening the vise around her heart until it felt like it would shatter. With hesitation, Leira handed her a letter wrapped in a black cloth. “This came from Prince Zeke.”As Luna Alicia read the letter, tears filled her eyes. “A war…” she whispered. “After a drought.” She stumbled, overwhelmed by the news, but Leira quickly helped her back to the chair. Following Luna Alicia's command, Leira took the letter and set it on fire with a match. There’s no stopping it.”Leira stood silently by her side. For the past few weeks, she had watched Luna Alicia cry, not because of her situation with Alpha Prince Zeke of the West Wood Pack, but because of the past and the fearful future that people from the past had predicted.“Did Samantha

Alpha Prince Felix stood among the countless lifeless bodies sprawled on the ground. The scent of blood mingled with the earth, permeating the moist air and sending a chill down his spine. The sounds of battle had ceased, but the heavy atmosphere lingered. Too many rogues had appeared out of nowhere—or was it really nowhere? They all behaved as though they had lost their sanity. Where exactly did they come from? The more Felix thought about it, the stranger it felt. Seven soldiers were lost in this encounter, each death weighing heavily on his mind. This wasn’t a simple attack from rogues. There had to be something else – a deeper reason behind all this chaos. Felix let out a few slow breaths and was about to walk back to the tower when he heard a choking sound in the distance. A soldier lay on the ground, his right limb severed. He looked up at Felix, hand reaching out.“What’s your name?” Felix asked, bending down.“Axiel, Alpha Prince,” the soldier replied, choking on blood. A
