"Riya's point of view"
To pass the time, I turned on the television in my room. The rest of the staff had gone for a walk outside to enjoy the snowfall.Because of the bitter weather outside and my neglect of Rachit, I locked myself in my room.I started watching Bollywood Hindi movies on TV and scrolling through my Facebook feed on my phone. Because of a sprain in my foot, I was in considerable discomfort, but I would have to eat something else before taking the painkiller.I had had nothing to eat since the morning.I turned off the television and looked at my phone to see what time it was; it was 11.30 a.m. Everyone in the office, including Rachit, has left at this point."How about I go to a restaurant and order some food?" I murmured.I set my meal on the table in the restaurant's corner and sat in the chair in the table's corner to eat it leisurely."How are your lovely lady's feet?" As he sat in an empty chair in front of me, Doctor Ank"Riya's point of view,"Is Ankur crazy?Ankur appears to be more of a psychopath than a physician.Huh... Both of us are in the same boat. What was it he wanted to say?Maybe speaking with girls in this way will be a novel way to get their attention. He emphasized, though, that he was not flirting with me, and his expression was serious. When I asked if he was all right, he replied he wasn't.Humans only do such things when their hearts are crushed or when they are in excruciating pain, but if he had told me about his troubles, I would have gladly assisted him. But he promised that when the time was perfect, he'd tell me everything.Oh my God, why do I keep meeting such weird people?"Can you tell me what Ankur was doing in your room?" Rachit's harsh remarks caught my attention."Could you please explain how you got in here?" I questioned Rachit after being shocked to see him. What made you so surprised when you saw me?Was it possible for you to
"Riya's point of view,""What was that doctor doing in your room?" Rachit says, taking a breath.I replied quietly, "Ankur had arrived to drop me off at my hotel; I couldn't even walk from the restaurant."Rachit teased me, "Oh, Ankur.""He was simply willing to help me," I said to Rachit."How come you didn't call me for help?" Rachit enquired, his hand clutching my fingers.I grumbled, "You've gone out.""How did you find out I was going out?" As he rested my cheek on his shoulder, Rachit inquired.I said slowly, "I thought, I mean, you like snowfall, so you went out.""You're still not getting it? How can I leave you like this and go somewhere else?" He replied, tucking my hair behind my ears and wiping it away from my face."Is that true?"Rachit's response surprised me."When you went to the restaurant, I took a shower; otherwise, I wouldn't have let you go alone. I called you as well, but you haven't taken my number o
"Riya's Point of view,"I'm not sure why he's angry eyes throw arrows at me, but those arrows seem to go straight into my heart.Even though I don't want to, his stubborn demeanor, humorous discourse, and seductive comments compel me to approach him. He appeals to me.Regardless of what happened,Rachit entered my thoughts once more."Huh..."What do you think of his arrogance, his filthy remarks, and that he judges you and accuses you of filthy accusations? My subconscious exposed Rachit's other side to me.He always makes false accusations against you; first, he questioned your and Ashish's friendship, then he accused you of seducing him, and now he has overstepped all bounds, telling you. You used him. And now he's labeled you a lustful whore since you're seducing Ankur."Wasn't I able to persuade you.""You needed someone else last night?" Rachit's words reverberated in my head once more. When I first witnessed this side of Rachit, it filled
"Riya's point of view,"I said, "Peace of mind," as I took out my phone and dialed Harsh's number."Hello, Harsh, what are you up to these days?" I said this while focusing entirely on Harsh."I miss you," Harsh answered from the other side, "and aside from that, I'm attempting to cook.""What exactly am I hearing?""Food? Are you attempting to prepare a meal?"I expressed my surprise.Harsh cheerfully remarked, "Yeah, I'm trying to cook, and I've washed my clothes.""May I inquire about what is going on today all alone?" I made a sarcastic comment.Harsh nervously said, "Maggi and tea."Harsh had complimented the dinner I had prepared, and I instantly remembered. Harsh was always a big fan of the cuisine I made. Tears welled up in my eyes."You tell me what's going on.""What's the status of your leg? "He inquired from the other side."Thanks to Dr. Ankur, everything is OK now," I said.Harsh pursued the matter further
"Riya's point of view,""What are you doing here in this freezing weather?" Ashish's comments halted the fight between me and my subconscious.I looked at Ashish and answered, "Nothing, just came for a walk in the fresh air.""Aren't you cold?" Ashish inquired, attempting to wrap himself in his arms."Yes,"I was shivering and shaking my head. I wasn't even aware of the cold because I was so engrossed in my thoughts."Do you want to come in and talk?" As proposed by Ashish,In answer, I shook my head."Are you aware of the party tonight?" While walking into the hotel with me, Ashish inquired."Party?" I inquired, surprised."Don't tell me you're not aware of this," Ashish remarked, raising an eyebrow."Which party?""What party?""I don't have any knowledge about that." I inquired, annoyed."Oh, God, why did you make this girl this way?Riya, were you an alien in a previous life, or perhaps in this one as well?" With a s
"Riya's point of view,"Finally, we both stopped laughing as tears welled up in each of our eyes and our stomachs hurt."We have to get ready early. It's party time," Shweta said, checking her phone for the time."Yes, will you come into my room, and will your roommates be here as well?" "If you don't mind?" I inquired, a little hesitantly."Yes, why not? Why would I mind?" Shweta packed herself and my dresses and other things in a carry bag and went to my room.Shweta not only assisted me in putting on my saree, but she also applied light makeup to my face, enhancing the beauty of my facial features.I initially hesitated to wear makeup, but eventually gave in to Shweta's insistence. Shweta kept my makeup simple, opting for smoky eyes and a soft pink lipstick color to complement my no-makeup face. She made me wear her white pearl jewelry with the saree, curled my hair open, and finished my look with black sandals.Shweta was dressed in a long blac
"Riya's point of view,""What are you doing? Please let me go," I muttered as I struggled to free myself from Rachit's clutches."You may have lost interest in me after dancing with that doctor because touching me now causes such pain." With grinning teeth, he said."Rachit, you haven't come to your senses yet; we'll talk in the morning; now, please go to your room.""Shut up," he screamed, tightening his grasp on my arms. "What have you understood yourself? I had forbidden you to talk to that doctor.""Leave me alone." I was terrified when I saw his rage."No, now I'll show you what happens if you don't obey me."He said this while yanking my hair hard in his hands.I'd never seen Rachit in this form before; previously, I'd seen him angry, but now, I couldn't discern any other feeling in his eyes except rage. Why am I putting up with him torturing me?"Enough is enough; leave my room now." I sobbed vehemently. My rage did not affect him.
"Riya's point of view,"Rachit dozed off while holding me in his arms, and I couldn't stop thinking about what he said. Why would he say this? Is he seriously considering marrying me? And how could he make such a major decision in such a short period? No, he must have been imagining things because of alcohol; I did not know while it lost me in deep sleep."Good morning."His sleepy voice jolted me awake in the morning. My face was still on his chest. One hand was under my head, and he wrapped the other around my waist, and entangled his legs between my feet. Instead of returning his greeting, I tried to distance myself from his body. Perhaps he sensed my intentions and tightened his grip on me.In an angry tone, I added, "Leave me, Rachit.""Seriously, you want me to leave you?" he inquired, his sleepy voice approaching my ear.Dammit, his sleepy voice is so tempting. My subconscious has tried to keep me away from him again and over again, but I st
"Riya's point of view,""Riya, why are you wasting so much time getting ready today? Poor Harsh, have been waiting for you for so long." Sheetal walked up to me and said,"Because my wedding is today, I had to get ready for it, including applying my makeup." I responded as I adjusted my earrings. "Riya, I think you look stunning today. May God keep the evil eye away from you." Sheetal slipped a small dot of kajal behind my ear and murmured, picking up the kajal from the dressing table. "Now that Harsh has already committed theft, no one even dares to steal Riya from him. Am I correct, Riya?" As he walked inside the room, Rahul said. "I promised Harsh that he would be the first to see me dressed as the bride, so why are you still standing here? Get out of here." I responded while covering my face with my hands. "Riya, you did not accept my proposal; at the very least, you should have given me this right." I listened to him and could not stop giggling. "You no longer playfully fli
"Harsh's point of view,""Harsh, what exactly are you doing here?" Seeing me here, Riya is the most surprised person in the room. "I'm here to dispel some myths around Rachit." I responded while seated in the conference room's empty chair. "What do you mean?" When I noticed Rachit's confused countenance, I felt a great sense of relief. But aside from Rachit, everyone on the board was staring at me in shock. And from the way Riya was gazing at me with her curious eyes, she was not even blinking. "I'm going to call security right away to get you out of here because you may not meddle in our company's affairs in this manner." He gave me an evil-eyed stare. Because of listening to him, I was not in the smallest bit furious at all—because if he knows the truth; it doomed all of his hopes and aspirations to fail. After hearing what he said, I remained silently observing the situation in front of me without responding. "Harsh, please explain to me why you are here." Riya was becoming mo
"Riya's point of view,""How dare Rachit talk crap about you? Where are you driving me? I'll just show him what I mean." I was finding it very challenging to take Harsh to the hospital. I would not have brought Harsh to this party if I had known that he would respond to Rachit's remarks in this manner. "Enough is enough; you are now silently accompanying me to the hospital, and I will not put up with any more of your nonsense." I glared sternly at Harsh. He had just left the hospital a few days prior, and in this circumstance, seeing the injuries on his hand, I was concerned about him. He was gushing blood from his hand. As a result, his body was already running low on blood, and he didn't need to waste any more of it by spitting it out in fury. After all, whatever is taking place, I did everything to save his life, so how will it work if he continues to endanger his life in this manner? "Riya, why are you crying now?"Although Harsh and Rachit's argument causes my ire, Harsh's
"Riya's point of view,""Riya, are you certain you're attending Rachit's party?" When Harsh saw me getting ready for the party, it startled him to see me at all. I said, applying eyeliner to my eyelids. "Yes, of course." "How are you going to handle that man in such a civilized manner? Have you forgotten what he did to you?"I know he has cause for anger, but I must still work to make sure that he does not mistrust me by following his instructions to carry out my plan."Harsh, I remember everything and have forgotten nothing, but it is improper to be personal while conducting business. I also had to go to his party because I am his business partner." I said, finishing up my makeup. "Well, if that's the case, I'll accompany you, so you won't have to go alone to that party. Beyond this, you won't challenge my choice because it is definitive." He announced the outcome while collecting his tuxedo from his wardrobe. "Do you not feel that you are dominating too much?" I asked, raising m
"Rachit's point of view,""Welcome, Riya. All I did was wait for you." As soon as she walks into the meeting room, she immediately creates positive energy in the room. The scent of fresh roses might ease any person's exhaustion emanating from their bodies. "What type of urgency has arisen for you, Rachit, that you wanted me to be here so quickly?" She fixed her piercing eyes on me. I wanted to tease her further when I saw how angry she was and had a crimson face. My choice was perfect, but I was unfortunate in that I could not understand her love. I'm still incredibly remorseful about the time I broke Riya's heart. Maybe today Riya and I would be together, and my child would also be here if I hadn't married Shilpi to protect the family business. But all I can do is regret it. Riya has lived her life with Harsh rather than me. I did all in my power to get her back in my life, but I can no longer see the love that I once saw in her eyes. The only girl in my life who turned down Rac
"Riya's point of view,""Riya, I miss you." He said, holding me in his arms as soon as I got in front of him. "I could not bear to be apart from you." My arms went around him with the same force as his. "Have you taken your medication yet?" I asked while keeping my head in his chest. "Yes." He responded in a quiet voice. After hearing his low voice, I knew he had lied to me. "I am aware of how negligent you are of your health."I remarked while slapping his shoulder. "Sorry, I forgot to take the medicine." When I saw how freely he was smiling, I realized that he still had many of the same habits. "If you made a mistake and are still laughing about it from on high, it's time for you to take some medicine." I said in a commanding voice. "Riya, you must learn to treat me with respect since I am your future husband and not an employee of your company." He answered by pouting like a child. I pulled his cheeks and whispered, "I wish you were one of my employees." "I'd rather not wor
"Riya's point of view,""Please pardon me. Riya, I erred when I stole your dream project from you." In front of me, Rachit is pleading with his hands folded. "Take this: I'm returning all of your company's shares to you." I was going to reclaim the file from his hands that held the shares of my company when I suddenly heard a strange voice in my head. What's the volume of the noise surrounding me? And the noise is only getting louder. What makes this sound so familiar to me, though? Oh shit, I just realized that this is the sound of my mobile phone's irritating alarm clock. I must have dreamt then. And do you believe Rachit will return to your dream project? In a straightforward manner, was it genuinely able to do so? It is only imaginable in dreams. I was being ridiculed by my subconscious for believing my dream to be true. Even though I know well that Rachit will not, under any circumstances, return the shares of my company to me, I still don't understand why there is still some
"Riya's point of view,""Harsh, what are you referring to?" After hearing him, I had an odd impression that he had some sort of plan going through his mind. But what? I must be aware. "Riya, please refrain from posing questions to me. I will tackle whatever needs to be done right away in my style." He had a certain level of determination in his voice. What's going on in his head, though? He has recently become more serious than ever. I've always seen him in a jovial mood, so I was afraid to see him with so many serious looks. "Kindly explain what you're talking about. If you're are not telling the truth about me, I believe they shall soon see me laying by your side on an empty hospital bed." "Oh, Riya, you are being such a jerk." He refuses to tell me what is going through his thoughts even after I have repeatedly asked him to do so, and even then he accuses me of being impatient. "Okay, Harsh, if you believe that, then I will tell you I will not ask questions now; you take care
"Riya's point of view,""Riya Why are you staying quiet? Please respond to my question." I'm not sure what I should say to Harsh, who is sitting in front of me. How can I inform him about the condition Rachit has imposed on me in exchange for his blood? I might even tell Harsh about the first condition, but how can I tell him about the second condition he's put in front of me? However, this moron detective informed Harsh that I had gone to a hotel room to meet Rachit while inebriated? Even when I walked out of that hotel room, I was in dire straits. Will Harsh believe me if I tell him the truth? Will he believe me if I tell him that nothing like this happened between us in the hotel's locked room that night? At any cost, I don't want to lose him again. However, I'm concerned that if I tell Harsh about the deal I signed with Rachit, he'll abandon me. "Riya, you're making me angry now. I've been pleading with you to tell me the truth and not keep anything from me, but you refuse to
