Alone in my bedroom with nothing much to do I watched as the maid poored a cup of tea for me. I smiled at her as she finished. Andrew had gone out with his dad leaving me here in this horride household.
I dreaded the fact that I had to spend my afternoon with Cassandra and my awful mother in law. Who knows what they had in store for me.
Just then my phone rang and the caller ID showed Rose my little sis.
"Happy almost anniversary..." Rose said in a sing-song voice.
"Thank you." I chuckled.
"So how are things going over there with your horride in-laws."
"Horride in-laws, I quite like how that sounds." I said and could hear Rose laugh.
"You don't have to worry about them anymore cause I have a suprise for you."
"Really? What is it?"
"Go outside.."
"Go outside where?."
"Go outside the house silly."
"What? Why?"
"Because of the suprise. Duh.." Rose said like I was stupid.
I got down from the bed and made my way downstairs. I went outside the house but didn't see any thing. I was confused I called Rose but she wasn't answering. Did I just get pranked by my little sister. Absolutely not funny I thought with a frown. But then my phone rang again. It was Rose.
"Really funny Rose."
"Just shut up and turn around loser." Rose said and I turned around to see a car arriving at the Miners mansion.
It stopped right in front of me but I couldn't see anything through the tinted glasses. But when those glasses where winned down I saw Rose in the car with a smirk on her face. God you got to be kidding me. My sister, my best friend my biggest supporter, my partner in crime, my everything was here.
"I can't believe your here." I said as I hugged her tightly.
"You really didn't think that I'll leave you all alone with those horrible Miners did you?" She said with raised eyebrows.
Rose was the better of both of us. She was the strong one the smart one, the bold one everything I did she could better. And I love her so..much I couldn't tell you.
She was a cheerful, kind, beautiful and bold with a heart of gold. She had long, dark hair, soft brown eyes and a gentle smile that lit up any room. She was confident in her abilities and never hesitated to take on a challenge. She was kind to everyone she met, always willing to lend a helping hand. She was strong and never backed down from a fight. She's my a beacon of light in this dark world.
"Okay. I know you love your sister but I'm here to." I heard someone say. The voice all too familiar.
I was so happy with the fact my sister was here I didn't even realise that she didn't come alone. Standing next to the car was my mum. My beautiful mother.
"Mum." I called out as I walked towards her. I hugged her so tightly inhaling her sweet scent. She smelt like home. Not mine and Andrew's home but the home I grew up in.
"I thought you weren't coming."
"And miss my darling's anniversary. Never." My mum said with a smile. "And also Andrew was quite convincing over the phone." She added.
"True." Rose said in agreement with mum. So this was Andrew's doing, Even when I think I couldn't love him any more he comes up with more ways for me to love him more.
"Come on let's go inside. The maids will get the bags." I told Rose and my mum.
We walked inside and was immediately greeted my mother in law Elena and Cassandra.
"Great. One Gibson wasn't enough now we have a house full of them." Cassandra said with a look of irritation on her face.
"Agg... Sarah I totally forgot you had a bitch living here." Rose resorted.
"How dare you!!." Casandra shouted.
"Rose!!. That's no way to talk to our hosts." My mum told Rose. Rose responded by rolling hers eyes.
"That's no way for them to treat their guests either." Rose murmured.
"Julia didn't you teach your daughter any manners. How dare she talk to my Cassandra that way. She needs to apologise immediately!!" Elena said to my mum.
I turned and looked pleadingly at Rose I really didn't need any trouble and I knew Elena and Cassandra only wanted trouble.
Rose grunted in annoyance but finally gave in.
"I'm sorry Cassandra. You definitely didn't deserve to be called a bitch." Rose said with gritted teeth.
"You call that an apology?" Cassandra scoffed.
That was when I decided to intervene.
"My sister is absolutely sorry Cassandra she didn't mean what she said. It had been a long flight so you should understand that they are both really tired." I said and immediately lead the way to the stairs without waiting for a reply. Rose and mum where right behind me.
I lead them both to one of the guestrooms. Immediately we walked in Rose ran towards the bed and collapsed on it.
"Agg... Your in-laws are so frustrating." Rose said.
"Shh... At least let me close the door first before you start insulting our hosts." My mum said with a laugh. Wasn't she suppose to be the mature one here? You know, the one telling us to respect our elders and shit.
"Mum. Rose." I called and got their attentions immediately. "I need you guys to be on your best behaviours this year please. You know all the Miners want is a chance for them to say we did something absolutely wrong and attack us for it."
"We know. They're horrible people. Oh...except for Andrew his great." Rose said and I agreed.
"We'll be fine darling everything will be alright. Don't stress yourself to much." My mum reassured. She was always the optimistic type, who thought everything would always end up right. I looked into her beautiful blue eyes and hoped it would be true. That everything would be fine but my sister had to crush my hopes immediately.
"Yeah right." Rose said sarcastically.
Both I and my mum turned to look at her.
"What? Don't look at me like that, you know I'm right."
My mum and I both ignored her.
"Mum. Let's just go over too your own room." I told my mum.
"Why? I don't mind sharing one with Rose." My mum replied.
I was about to agree to it when Rose refused saying she wanted her own space.
"So you have a problem staying with me now?" My mum asked astonished by the fact that Rose didn't want her staying in the same room with her.
"No. Offcourse not mum. I'm just use to having my own space. I don't see why that's a problem."
"Your right. It's not a problem. Sarah darling, please take me to my own room." My mum said and immediately walked out.
"Mum. Mum! Come on mum.. alright come back we'll share the room I'm sorry." Rose begged. But my mum was long gone.
"I can't believe you." I said to Rose.
"What? I've already spent a whole flight with her, now you want me to stay the entire week with her as well. In the same room. No way."
I laugh. "Your so stupid. Give me a hug." I gave Rose a quick hug before running out of the room to catch up with my mum.
I was so happy they were here. But at the same time I felt sad for them, Cause the Miners always found new ways to humiliate my family. Deep down I wish they didn't come. I could handle the Miners awfulness but I couldn't stand it when they went after my family.
I spent the entire day with my mum and Rose. We went to different tourist centres in London, we had a blast but I was extremly tired by the time we got home.Andrew still wasn't back by then so I decided to take a shower.I took off my clothes and walked into the bathroom.A hot shower after a stressful day can be incredibly relaxing. The warm water helped soothe all my tense muscles and melted away my stress. Plus, the steam helped clear my mind and gave me a moment to relax and reset.I stayed really still for a while. Until I felt a touch. I jolted then immediately turned around. It was Andrew he was in the shower with me. He looked absolutely stunning when wet! His hair looked sleek and shiny, his eyes sparkle like the ocean, and his skin glistens in the light. He looked like a work of art!He wrapped his arms around my waist as the warm water cascaded down our bodies. I looked into his eyes, feeling overwhelmed with love and admiration. There was no words needed at this moment.Wi
I walked into the dinning room and noticed my mum and Rose and the rest of Andrew's family where already there except for aunt Maria. Dinner wasn't served yet but everyone was sitted."I'm glad you finally pleased us with your presence, Sarah." I heard my mother in law say, venom lacing her words.Andrew walked in as well and Immediately went over to meet my mum and sister Rose. He smiled as they exchanged greetings.I went over to sit next to my sister who immediately lean over and whispered to me. "Your lips are a bit swollen. What were you up too."I looked at her with a shocked expression as my face turn red in embarrassment then pushed her away playfully. I knew the Miners all had there eyes on us. Any slight show off happiness would be used against us later on."Did anyone miss me?" I heard a familiar voice say and every one in the dinning room turned towards the entrance.Standing there was Cassie Miner Andrew and Casandra's younger sister."Oh my darling babygirl." Elena said
"And once again things begin with a bang in this horride household." Rose said to mum and I as we made our way up the stairs."Indeed. The Miners never fail to disappointment." My Mum added a touch of sadness in her voice. It made my heart ache."Mum I'm so sorry. You made such a long flight here only to get treated this way." "Oh..darling. I didn't make the flight for them I made it for you. So don't blame yourself." Mum said gently cupping my face."I just wish things were different." I replied. Honestly wishing my in-laws were nice people but I'm stuck with the Miners as in-laws."I know baby. But I'm afraid they aren't very good people and I feel like it's best if I and your sister spend the next few days at a hotel." My mum answered totally shocking me."A hotel?" I asked in disbelief turning to look at Rose who shrugged."I'm sorry sis. But mum's right we can't stay here." Rose said sadly. "But we'll be here for the anniversary party on Sunday." She added as if it would make m
I slowly walked back to my room and grabbed my phone, trying to call Andrew, but he wasn't answering. That was very unusual because he always answered my calls. What was going on? Was he okay? And mostly, where the heck was he?I sighed in frustration, but then a spark of realization hit me—I could track his phone. Why hadn't I thought of it sooner? As the app displayed his location, a mix of anger and anxiety consumed me.A nightclub? Seriously? What the heck... How could he do this? My family gets mistreated by his, and he left me to go to a club. Oh no, he didn't.I grabbed a jacket, threw on black boots, and practically stomped out of the room. As fate would have it, I nearly collided with Cassie, my sister-in-law."Whoa, where's the fire?" she asked, puzzled."I'm off to meet your brother, who ditched me and is currently partying it up at a nightclub," I spat, showing her Andrew's location."Yikes, that looks bad, but I'm sure he's just getting some air. This house can be stiflin
"Don't be mad, Siren. It's not his fault; I asked him to meet me here," Ryan smoothly interjected, using that nickname he'd stuck me with since the day Andrew introduced us.Since the day he pulled that fake first-meeting stunt. I swallowed, my anger doing a disappearing act.I didn't want anything to do with Ryan, so I whipped around to face Andrew. "I'm leaving. You better follow me unless you want a divorce." I laid down the ultimatum and stomped out.Andrew hesitated, torn between explaining and sticking around. "Wait, Sarah," he called, but I didn't give him the satisfaction of a glance. The night air hit me as I stormed out of the club, frustration and confusion swirling in my head.Reaching the car, Andrew caught up and grabbed my arm."Honey, just calm down," he urged, his grip firm but gentle."Calm down?" I asked in disbelief turning to him, our faces mere inches apart. "Andrew, you freaking left me all by myself after your family belittled mine at dinner. And now you have t
Today was Wednesday, and I only had to survive Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before finally escaping this suffocating house by Monday. "You've got this," I whispered to my reflection in the bathroom mirror, mustering all the encouragement I could. It was 7:30 and I had just finished taking my bath and was still wrapped up in a towel. I Stepped out of the bathroom to the bedroom. Andrew wasn't in the room cause as usual he had gone out for his morning run.My hair was dripping wet and I tried to hasten the drying process with another towel when I suddenly heard the door open.I thought it was Andrew so I didn't flinch and kept drying my hair. I didn't even bother turning around because I assumed it was definitely him I mean who else would walk into the room without knocking first."How was your run?" I casually asked as I kept trying to dry my hair with the towel. When he didn't answer I turned around suspecting something was wrong.Imagine the dread and the shock that gripped
I was standing in the doorway, my curves outlined by the light coming in from the hallway. He couldn't take his eyes of me. I was wearing a tight black dress that hugged my body in all the right places. I knew he wanted me, I could see it in his eyes.I smiled as he walked up to me and grabbed my waist, pulling me closer to him. I gasped in surprise when I felt his erection, but then melted into his embrace. He kissed me passionately, exploring my mouth with his tongue. He tasted like sweet wine, and I wanted more.He broke away from the kiss and started to unzip my dress. He wanted to feel my skin against his. I let out a soft moan as he ran his hands over my body, exploring every inch of me.I could feel my body trembling with anticipation as he pushed me onto the bed. He started to kiss and lick his way down my body, making me moan with pleasure. His hands moved over my curves, making me gasp with delight. He moved back up my body and entered me, thrusting deeply. I gasped and the
"Good morning my love" Andrew said with a kiss. I loved it every time he called me that. It felt wonderful. It was like floating on clouds. Absolutely perfect. Oh! silly me I totally forgot to Introduce myself. My name is Sarah Gibson. I am 28 years old and for the past two years I've been married to the most perfect husband in the entire universe.Don't mean to brag but Andrew is definitely the most perfect man any woman could ever dream of having. He is tall and has a muscular build, with a strong jawline and a charming smile. His hair is black and his eyes are a deep set of blue. I always get lost in them. He has a style that's both classic and modern, and always looks put together. Oh and before I forget he is terribly handsome. But I'm sure you'd already guessed that.Andrew was the kind of husband who would go out of his way to make sure I was happy. He would surprise me with flowers on my birthday, take me out to dinner at very expensive restaurants, and always made sure I ha

The next morning.....I tossed and turned in bed I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that Ryan was going to be here. I could barely sleep last night. I couldn't see him again. Infact I shouldn't see him again. He was a problem, a big one. You must be thinking I'm over reacting but I know myself I know how I feel everytime he was around. And I hated the feeling. And I shouldn't even be feeling that way because I was married to a Andrew. At that thought Andrew walked in. He had gone out for a jug. Which he did every morning. He'd always ask me to come along but I was way to lazy to get up that early in the morning. "Your back." I said with a warm smile on my face. "Yeah. And your awake." He teased. "Shut up and come here." I told him with a smile. "I'm a bit sweaty." "I don't care." I watched as he walked towards the bed with a smile. He came closer and planted a kiss on my head. Even sweaty he smelt divine. He always smelt so good. "You look so beautiful this morning." He s
The door opened and Andrew walked into the bedroom. I was on the bed with my laptop taking a look at some new designs my assistant had sent to me when he walked in."How's your dad doing?" I asked looking up. "He's good. Just a headache. He had taken he's meds so I'm sure he'll be fine." Andrew replied. "That's good." I told Andrew and went back to work. Although deep down I really didn't care about his father's health. Truth be told I wouldn't even care If he died the next day. You may be wondering why I would say something so horrible. Well, that's probably because the man himself is the plain definition of horrible. David Miner is a bad person. It's a suprise his son didn't turn out to be like him. I'm actually really thankful for that. The man went as far as threatening me to leave his son or else he would hurt members of my family. Shocking? I know. He did that after he tried to bribe me with a huge sum of money but I rejected and threatening me was the next thing he thought o
